Catholic anon here, just spitballing fwiw.

Malta's finances are CORRUPT AS FUCK, and have been for generations. This is true of both the nation of Malta and the Knights of Malta (good luck separating the finances of the two, btw). Nobody has been able to figure out wtf the K of M have been doing with all their "charitable donations" but know that they're in the $billions. "Donating" to "charitable works" run by the Knights of Malta would be a terrific way for "Them" to move money, get it?

So I'm wondering if "restructuring Malta" might possibly be a chess-move ostensibly made by Pope Francis, but really by White Hats? Kinda like the Saudi coup in Fall 2017, which Q told us cut the deep-state financial strings.

I'm not defending Pope Francis, but sometimes it seems pretty clear that Someone Else is speaking for him. Usually it sounds like it's one of "Them." But maybe Our Guys have seized control of the Vatican by now?

As I said, just a theory

Some sauce, fwiw:

'The Knights of Malta traces its origins to roughly 1048. It has been a traditional and valuable member of the visible Church for around 900 years.

'Then there are questions surrounding what may be called "dark money."

'In 2017, the National Catholic Register reported there had been a "mysterious 120 million Swiss franc ($118 million) donation to the Knights." Later that year, the Register further reported the order's grand chancellor, Albrecht von Boeselager, had "accepted a 30 million Swiss franc donation ($31 million) on behalf of the order" from what has been called a "dubious trust," with intentions of accepting millions more from the same trust in years to come.'
