The articles mentions all kinds of reasons for impeachment, except treason. Maybe Reps will grow balls and add treason in as a surprise charge if they retake the House.

So who's in the line of succession? How many of these can be impeached immediately for high crimes and misdemeanors, and/or treason?

HARRIS - what high crimes has she been involved in?

PELOSI - what can she be impeached for?

LEAHY - ditto

BLINKEN - ditto

YELLIN - ditto

LLOYD AUSTIN - Sec of Defense - mandated the covid vax for all troops - IMPEACH

Keep on going right down the line. Have any of these people not done something that is an impeachable offense?

Republicans (if they grow balls) could spend the next two years impeaching all of them.

Or, could they be charged before being sworn in and taken out of the line of succession?

Then who becomes president?

Say the were able to do that in rapid succession, just for discussion purposes. Who is next in line after they go thru this whole list?

(Of course, this doesn't account for each new person in the line changing/adding names to the line of succession.)

I'm always stunned when I come to the board and then find copies of Q posts like these, when I've just in the last few days shared them via emails with this or that person(s).

It seems that so many of us seem to be thinking the same thing more or less around the same time.
