Cars are submerged underwater on Interstate 95 in Rhode Island after intense rainfall caused buildings to COLLAPSE- while roads in Georgia are damaged by deluge and 90 million people brace for flood warnings tonight

Flood watches were in effect in the U.S. northeast and much of the southeast on Monday as forecasters warned of the possibility of torrential downpours

Radar showed a strong band of storms traveling northeast just inland from Pennsylvania through Rhode Island and into Massachusetts

The flooding became so immersive that it caused a building in the capital city of Providence to collapse on Monday

Police noted that the building, which was in the process of being made into a strip mall, was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured

Among the hardest-hit areas in this weekend's storms was northwest Georgia, where 12 inches of rain fell in some spots, forecasters said

The flooding knocked out water service to parts of Georgia's Chattooga County, where the school system called off classes for the next couple of days

Flooding on the I-95 highway in Rhode Island has caused cars to be submerged under water and even some buildings to collapse, as several parts of the country are dealing with flood conditions.

On Monday, flood watches were in effect in the U.S. northeast and much of the southeast as forecasters warned of the possibility of torrential downpours on Labor Day across already saturated ground.

Radar showed a strong band of storms traveling northeast just inland from Pennsylvania through Rhode Island and into Massachusetts.

The flooding became so immersive that it caused a building in the capital city of Providence to collapse on Monday.

Police noted that the building, which was in the process of being made into a strip mall, was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured.

The owner of the building, however, told the NBC10 that the collapse will likely set construction back years.

The chance for flash flooding extended elsewhere in the northeast, into Pennsylvania, parts of southern New England and the New York City area, the weather service said.

Locals in the Rhode Island cities of Providence and Cranston were braced for life threatening flash flooding on Monday, the National Weather Service reported.

While there had been no reports of injuries in the area, a number of roads were closed, including a section of Interstate 95, and Route 10 - one of the main arteries into and out of Providence.

Up to four inches of rain had already fallen in some areas by late afternoon and additional flooding was possible.

YES, yes you do.

"Police described Fletcher’s abduction as “violent” and said it is believed that she “suffered serious injury.”

“Further, it is probable and apparent from witness statements that these injuries left evidence of blood in the car the defendant cleaned,” it continued.

The body on Monday was found less than a mile from where witnesses told police they saw Abston cleaning the GMC Terrain police confirmed he used to allegedly abduct Fletcher.

Abston was arrested Saturday morning, but authorities said he refused to tell them Fletcher’s location. He was busted after a good Samaritan found sandals at the scene of the crime with DNA linking him to the alleged kidnapping.

He is being held on $500,000 bond and has prior run-ins with the law, including a previous conviction for kidnapping an attorney when he was just 16 years old.

Abston served 20 years in prison for the earlier case and was released in 2020.

Neighbors described Abston as a “creep” and “pervert” who constantly tried to pay women for sex, according to a report.

Dude never should have been out of prison. The Lindberg (not set up a patsy but take them OUT- Lindberg killed that kid, his genetic failure had to be kept hush hush) solution is the only solution.

>do you know the whole water cycle?

It's pretty disgusting in metro areas like KC, they clean out the shit and turn it back into "sparkling clean water" after it's trip down the Missouri River, into sinks and TOILETS etc.

The smell is… beyond words, take a trip to the airport using I-435 near Front Street on any warm evening. I dare you not to puke or at least dry heave. The alternate route is M-291, it also has the stench + a major chemical plant, Chemagro/Bayer and the smell is heavy chemical with a large chaser of shit.

Anon's town uses aquifers and sells water to nearby towns. No flouride added. Nice and clean if you don't consider the toxic waste Amoco left behind and all those brain cancer victims..

"Explosive New Documents Reveal Andrew Weissmann’s Misconduct In Enron Case"

Mar 5, 2019

"Nearly four months ago, Houston-based attorney Kevin Fulton filed, on my behalf, a motion to unseal records in a case headed by Andrew Weissmann, who is now a member of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team. Late Thursday, a federal district court judge in Texas granted (with one exception), the motion to unseal, making some of those documents publicly available for the first time.

The sealed records involved the Enron case Weissmann oversaw prior to his abrupt departure from the Enron Task Force in the middle of jury deliberations. Given Weissmann’s current role as Mueller’s “pit bull,” revisiting the allegations of misconduct leveled against the prosecutor—with the benefit of the entire unsealed record—promotes transparency and the public’s interest in trusting the integrity of the special counsel’s team.

The now unsealed records expose efforts by Weissmann, and the Enron Task Force he led, to intimidate witnesses and to interfere in the attorney-client relationship of a cooperating witness. Several affidavits unsealed last week catalogued veiled threats made to witnesses the Enron defendants sought to interview. However, because many of the attorneys would speak only off the record to Enron’s attorneys, the courts refused to consider the affidavits sufficient to prove prosecutorial misconduct.

Two attorneys, however, were willing to testify. In a just-unsealed affidavit, one lawyer stated that an FBI agent working for the Enron Task Force overseen by Weissmann warned his client against talking to the Enron defense team because “those are bad guys.” The second attorney stated that an FBI agent had made veiled threats against his client in a separate Enron trial."
