Stumped by one of the songs I am writing. I’ve had it stuck in my head for months now. Need to figure out the right chord progression. I have the melody just not the chords to play along with. Any advice?
(It’s a Pro Maga song so that’s why it’s relevant.)
How would that help me figure out the chords?
Here’s a Pro Maga song I wrote. I’m going to re-record it at a later time and maybe fix arrangement a little. Vocals are bad I was trying to be quiet since it was late at night.
The one I got stuck in my head is gonna be really good if I can transfer the chords in my mind into guitar. I was able to do that once before but this one has me stumped. I have the lyrics and melody. To give an idea of what it would sound like it would sound kinda like a mix between Bob Seger’s ‘Turn the page’ song & Johnny Cash’s song ‘God`s Gonna Cut You Down’.
I mean if I could just figure out what key I’m in with the melody maybe that would help idk.
