13 Minutes of Never-Before-Seen Footage of Ballot Trafficking in Detroit, Michigan – Including Postal Workers!

The Michigan Bureau of Elections issued an Election Officials Manual in October 2020.

According to this manual, the persons who may return an absentee ballot are limited to:

the voter

a member of the voter’s immediate family who has been asked to return the ballot

a person residing in the voter’s household who has been asked to return the ballot

a person whose job normally includes the handling of mail (but only during the course of his or employment)

an authorized election official

MCL 168.764a

Ballot traffickers generally do not deposit a large number of ballots per drop box. With video surveillance, they are aware that this would be too obvious to those looking for violation of election laws. There were exceptions to this in what was noted at the Detroit drop boxes in 2020.

What follows is a sample list of the various multiple ballot drops which was observed by Michigan Citizens for Election Integrity (MC4EI.com), the team which reviewed and analyzed thousands of hours of surveillance videos of the Detroit drop boxes from the November 2020 general election. This list corresponds to various clips you will see in the ensuing video below.

Here is the list of clips of drop boxes you will be viewing in the video below:

Clip #1- Heilmann Recreation Center. A woman deposits a stack of about 50 ballots while another woman appears to be videotaping her. Both are wearing face masks.

Clip #2- Horatio Williams Foundation. A person in a vehicle has a stack of ballots which he takes a phone picture of and then hands it off to another man, who does not appear to be an election official, outside his car who holds the stack up next to the drop box and then carries the ballots off. Sound secure to you?

Clip #3- Liberty Temple (a stand alone drop box, not associated with a satellite voting center ie SVC). A woman wearing a Mickey Mouse t-shirt deposits what initially appeared to be 3 ballots, but actually turned out to be about 6.

Clip #4- Liberty Temple. A person made 11 motions in dropping ballots into the drop box with what appeared to be multiple ballots with each motion. The estimated amount dropped would be 30 to 40 ballots.

Clip #5- Coleman A. Young Municipal Center. A person had about 5 unsealed ballots which were deposited all at once after sealing them.

Clip #6- Farwell Recreation Center. A minimum of 7 or 8 ballots was deposited.

Clip #7- Palmer Community House. A woman who appeared to be a health care worker deposited at least 6 or more ballots.

Clip #8- Farwell Recreation Center. A woman deposited about 6 ballots.

Clip #9- Heilmann Recreation Center. A man deposited at least 5 ballots.

Clip #10-Kemeny Recreation Center. A woman had a stack of multiple ballots which she deposited all at once.

Clip #11- Farwell Recreation Center. A man deposits 6 ballots from a vehicle.

Clip #12- Liberty Temple. A woman deposits a stack of ballots.

Clip #13- Pistons Performance Center. A man with a phone deposits 5 ballots.

Clip #14- North Rosedale Park. A woman with a mask deposits 6 ballots.

Clip #15- Balduck Park. A person on the passenger side of a red truck takes a pic of the drop box and center. A vehicle then drives up with what appears to be a female health care worker who deposits 8 ballots.

Clip #16- Balduck Park. A woman appearing to be a health care worker deposits a minimum of 10 ballots.

Clip #17- Balduck Park. The same woman as noted in Clip#16 deposited 12 ballots.

Clip #18- Liberty Temple. A female postal worker drops a few ballots.

Clip #19- Liberty Temple. The same female postal person as in Clip #18 deposits multiple ballots.

Clip #20- Liberty Temple. The same female postal worker as in Clip #18 arrives in a private vehicle and deposits at least 10 ballots.

Clip #21- Male postal worker deposits about 10 ballots.

Clip #22 -Liberty Temple. Same male postal worker as seen in Clip#21 deposits multiple ballots.

If someone other than the voter is delivering their absentee ballot, it must be delivered to the clerk of the respective city or township office. Not to a drop box. There are no specific rules in Michigan regarding nursing home absentee voting. Michigan does not have special voting deputies for nursing homes as does Wisconsin. Therefore, the general rules apply as noted above.

As seen in the video, postal workers made visits to the drop boxes. MC4EI discussed this with postal service employees in the metro-Detroit area. None of them has ever delivered absentee ballots to drop boxes, but only to clerks offices.

Nancy Pelosi Already Planning For GOP Retaking The House — Wants To Be An Ambassador In Europe

Nancy Pelosi is already thinking of what happens when Democrats lose the House.

According to a new report, she wants to be Ambassador to Italy.

The report also states that this is one of the reasons Joe Biden has not filled the position yet.

The US Ambassador’s residence in Italy has a pool, private gardens, and a wine cellar.

Fox Business reported:

Sources tell FOX Business’ that Pelosi wants President Biden to nominate her to become the next U.S. ambassador to Italy if the GOP takes the House majority in the midterm elections.

Biden is holding the spot for the speaker, sources say, which is one reason he has yet to fill the position since taking office. Speculation earlier this year that a Pelosi ally and former Wall Street executive wanted the job has shifted with the increasing likelihood that the GOP takes the majority.

There was no clarity yet on how a new Senate will react to a Pelosi nomination, but there was a mixed reaction to her in the role from sources this week.

Pelosi traveled to Italy for a vacation with her extended family in July.

Politico reported:

Pelosi brought her extended family to a lavish Italian holiday in Forte dei Marmi in July, and Roman observers are split over whether that’s proof of her warming them up for Villa Taverna, or just an indication that America’s most powerful Italian-American can get her dose of la dolce vita through short trips instead.

Whatever the reason for the empty chair, “not having an American ambo in Rome in times of Italian turmoil is simply absurd and self-defeating for Washington,” one highly placed Italian source complained to Global Insider. “I’ve seen good ones from both Democrat and Republican ranks and how they operate, influence, pass messages, pull strings. There’s an audience for them. But they need to be on location.”

Bed Bath & Beyond CFO Wasn’t Alone in NYC Apartment When He Jumped to His Death: Report

New reports say that the wife of former Bed Bath & Beyond chief financial officer Gustavo Arnal was with him in the final moments before he jumped to his death from the family’s 18th-floor Manhattan apartment.

Arnal, 52, died in what police have said appears to have been a suicide, according to The New York Times. His body was found Friday near the Jenga building where he lived, and “appeared to suffer from injuries indicative from a fall from an elevated position,” police said in a statement.

At the time of the plunge, his wife was in the apartment, according to the New York Post.

A law enforcement source said no suicide note was found, and that no criminal conduct is suspected, the Post reported.

Arnal had been married to his wife for 28 years, according to the Daily Mail. He leaves behind two daughters.

He also leaves behind a tangled financial mess that prompted a class action lawsuit on behalf of everyone who bought Bed Bath & Beyond stock between March 25 and Aug. 18, according to the Daily Mail.

The suit was filed about one week before Arnal’s death.

The suit was aimed at the activities of Arnal and investor Ryan Cohen alleging that actions were taken to artificially inflate the stock price.

The lawsuit said that Arnal’s role was accomplished by making “materially misleading statements and omissions about the company’s financial standing in an effort to artificially inflate the share price.”

“Through mid-August 2022, BBBY appeared — from the company’s public statements and financial reporting to be a successful turning-around company,” the lawsuit said.

The lawsuit claims the deceased executive “blatantly misrepresented the value and profitability of [the company] causing BBBY to report revenues that was fictitious [and] announce publicly that the company is successfully on the way spinning off BBBY to ‘unlock full value’ of this ‘tremendous asset,’” it said.

Bed Bath & Beyond, though, was not doing well financially, the lawsuit claimed.

After Cohen and Arnal sold their shares at a time the stock was high, the stock began to fall. Stock that had been selling at $30 a share before the sales was soon down to $16.16 a share, continuing to fall throughout the month.

Bed Bath & Beyond recently said it would close 150 stores and slash jobs in an effort to turn around the company, according to Reuters.

The store closings followed a second quarter in which same-store sales dropped 26 percent year over year.

Dutch Agriculture Minister Henk Staghouwer Abruptly Resigns After Protests

Thousands of Dutch farmers have protested recent Nitrogen rules that will force approximately 30% of Dutch cattle farms out of business. The Gateway Pundit reported on Dutch police opening fire on a 16-year-old farm boy and aiming guns at farmers in an effort to shut down the mass protests.

AP reports:

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — The Dutch agriculture minister has unexpectedly resigned, telling reporters he wasn’t the right person for the job following a tumultuous summer of protests by farmers over pollution regulations.

Henk Staghouwer, who held the position for only nine months, announced his decision Monday night. He had just returned from Brussels, where he negotiated an agreement with the European Commission to scrap a Dutch exemption to manure spreading limits.

The Netherlands, along with Denmark, Ireland and the Flanders region of Belgium, had been allowed to exceed caps on how much manure farmers could return to their fields because of the country’s comparatively small land area. But Brussels wants to phase out this dispensation because the Dutch are failing to meet EU water quality standards.

The country’s lucrative agriculture sector has been in crisis since a 2019 court ruling forced the government to slash emissions of nitrogen oxide and ammonia, which livestock produce. Thousands of farmers have staged protests, blockading cities with tractors and burning hay bales along highways.

From Staghouwer’s Twitter account:

Today I have decided to step down as Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. Below I explain my decision.

When I took office as minister, I knew that we were faced with enormous tasks in agriculture, horticulture and in the fishery. That it is necessary to look to the future with the sector. To work on a new perspective.

Farmers and fishermen need certainty about where the sector is heading, so that they can invest and do business. And as a former entrepreneur, I share that with them.

At the beginning of this year, I came to The Hague from Groningen to to work together with all parties in agriculture and fisheries to tackle the enormous tasks what we stand for and to make the transition to circular agriculture together.

It is clear that these tasks are large. I asked myself the question: am I the right person toas Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality to lead the major tasks that lying down?

Last weekend I came to the conclusion that I am not that person. I’m performing for this reason returned as Minister of Agriculture. I wish my successor together with the dedicated people of the ministry just all the best.

US Intelligence Says Russia Has Turned To North Korea For Arms Resupply

A newly declassified intelligence report is alleging that Russia is buying millions of artillery shells and rockets from North Korea, in what US officials say is the latest sign of desperation amid depleting Russian munitions after six months of war in Ukraine.

"The United States provided few details from the declassified intelligence about the exact weaponry, timing or size of the shipment, and there is no way yet to independently verify the sale,"according to The New York Times, which was the first to reveal the declassified US intelligence. "A U.S. official said that, beyond short-range rockets and artillery shells, Russia was expected to try to purchase additional North Korean equipment going forward."

A month ago, Western media reports were widely circulating which said North Korea offered Russia up to 100,000 of its own troops to fight in Ukraine, however, the story was dubious and lacked evidence, with no statements from DPRK state media itself to back the claim.

What has been confirmed since then, is a major deal by Moscow for the purchase of hundreds of Iranian-manufactured drones for use on the battlefield in Ukraine. There have since been reports that the drones have serious problems, and may not be functioning properly, making them less of a threat for Ukraine's defense systems to contend with.

Commenting on the new US intelligence alleging the North Korea weapons link, one anonymous US official told The Associated Press that it shows "the Russian military continues to suffer from severe supply shortages in Ukraine, due in part to export controls and sanctions."

What is clear is that North Korea has taken steps to demonstrate its approval of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, in July becoming the second outside country after Syria to recognize the independence of the breakaway Donetsk and Luhansk republics.

There could be new sanctions repercussions for Pyongyang if it is caught exporting military equipment to Russia. "The North’s arms export to Russia would be a violation of U.N. resolutions that ban the country from exporting to or importing weapons from other countries," the AP writes.

UN team issues report on shelled nuclear site

Attacks around the Zaporozhye NPP “should be stopped immediately,” the IAEA says

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has called for an end to all military activity around the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and insisted that shelling in the area must stop. The agency’s report on the situation in Ukraine, published on Tuesday, stopped short of identifying the culprits targeting the Russian-held facility.

“Any military activity – such as shelling – within, or in the vicinity of, a nuclear facility has the potential to cause an unacceptable radiological consequence,” the IAEA report said, adding that the “seven pillars” of nuclear safety “have all been compromised at the site.”

“The IAEA recommends that shelling on site and in its vicinity should be stopped immediately to avoid any further damages to the plant and associated facilities, for the safety of the operating staff and to maintain the physical integrity to support safe and secure operation,” the agency said, adding that this would require “agreement by all relevant parties to the establishment of a nuclear safety and security protection zone around the ZNPP.”

Zaporozhye is Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. Along with the nearby city of Energodar, it has been under Russian control since March. Artillery, drone, and rocket attacks began in July, however, damaging cooling systems, power lines, and other facilities.

The Russian military has named the specific Ukrainian artillery units carrying out the attacks and provided their locations to the UN. Kiev has accused Moscow of using the plant as a base for heavy artillery and equipment, but also denied responsibility for the shelling, calling it a Russian false-flag operation to make Ukraine look bad.

Last week, however, the Ukrainian General Staff admitted to targeting Energodar and claimed that all Russian “military equipment” had been relocated from the ZNPP ahead of the IAEA’s visit. The inspectors contradicted this, saying they had observed Russian “military personnel, vehicles and equipment at various places at the ZNPP,” providing security.

Kiev and its Western backers had previously demanded the establishment of a 30-kilometer demilitarized zone around the Zaporozhye NPP, but Moscow rejected this as unacceptable, pointing to continued Ukrainian artillery attacks on the site.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi personally led the mission to Zaporozhye, dubbed ISAMZ, on September 2. The facility came under artillery attack during the visit, while Ukrainian commandos attempted to seize the plant after crossing the Kakhovka Reservoir by boat, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Moscow accuses West of breaking ‘grain deal’ pledge

Unimpeded access for Russian food products to the world market has not been provided, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said

Western countries have not fulfilled their promise to lift sanctions on Russian grain and fertilizers to allow them reach world markets, the country’s foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, said on Tuesday.

The commitment was part of a deal brokered by the UN and Turkey and signed in Istanbul in July to unblock Ukraine’s grain exports and ease a looming global food crisis.

Lavrov stressed that “artificially inflated” Western claims that Russian actions in Ukraine had undermined the stability of the global food market are “absolutely not the case.”

“On the contrary, our Western colleagues are not doing what we were promised by the UN secretary general, namely, they are not making a decision to remove logistical sanctions that prevent free access of Russian grain and fertilizers to world markets,” the minister pointed out at a joint press conference with his Thai counterpart, Don Pramudwinai.

Lavrov added that Russia continues to work with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his team to ensure the organization fulfills its obligations under the Istanbul agreements.

Wheat deliveries from Ukraine, a major producer, were disrupted after Russia launched its military operation in the neighboring state in late February. The two sides traded accusations over who was responsible for the stoppage of cargo traffic out of Ukrainian ports. Since August 1, however, when shipments from the ports resumed, 92 vessels have departed, bringing more than 2 million tons of food goods to global markets.

Who Benefits From US Government Claims That The UFO Threat Is Increasing "Exponentially"?

…the moment the US government starts labeling something a “threat”, all trust and credulity must be immediately be thrown out the window…

A US senate report which is an addendum to the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 has people talking due to the surprising statements it includes about the US government’s current position on UFOs.

I mean Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.

I mean Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena.

This latest moniker for the thing we all still think of as UFOs is the US government’s way of addressing how these alleged appearances, which began entering mainstream attention in 2017, are said to be able to transition seamlessly from traveling through the air to moving underwater in what’s been labeled “cross-domain transmedium” movement. Because branches of the US war machine are roughly broken up into forces specializing in air, sea, land and space operations, the notion that these things move between those domains gets special attention.

UFO enthusiasts are largely focusing on a part of the addendum which oddly stipulates that the government’s newly named Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena Joint Program Office shall not be looking into objects “that are positively identified as man-made,” because of the obvious implications of that phrase. This is understandable; if you’ve got a government office that’s responsible for investigating unidentified phenomena, you can just say it won’t be looking into phenomena that are “positively identified”. You wouldn’t have to add “identified as man-made” unless you had a specific reason for doing so.

But for me the claim that really jumps off the page, authored by Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mark Warner, is the claim that these unidentified aerospace-undersea phenomena are a “threat” that is increasing “exponentially”.

“At a time when cross-domain transmedium threats to United States national security are expanding exponentially, the Committee is disappointed with the slow pace of DoD-led efforts to establish the office to address those threats,” Warner writes in the report.

“Exponentially” is a mighty strong word. Taken in its least literal sense, it means that threats to US national security from UFOs are increasing at an alarmingly rapid rate. That they have swiftly become much greater than they used to be.

What is the basis for this incendiary claim? What information are US lawmakers being given to make them draw such conclusions and make such assertions? There’s a long chain of information handling between an alleged UFO encounter and a US senator’s pen, and corruption can occur at any point in that chain (including the first and last link).

I remain comfortably agnostic about most aspects of the UFO question, up to and including the possibility that there are actual extraterrestrial or extradimensional beings zipping around our planet in technology our science cannot comprehend. But one thing I absolutely will take a hard and fast position on is that the moment the US government starts labeling something a “threat”, all trust and credulity must be immediately be thrown out the window.

CDC Gave Facebook Misinformation About COVID-19 Vaccines, Emails Show

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) passed misinformation to Facebook as the partners worked to combat misinformation, according to newly released emails, in the most recent example of CDC officials making false or misleading claims.

In a June 3 message, a Facebook official said the CDC had helped the company “debunk claims about COVID vaccines and children,” and asked for assistance addressing claims about the vaccines for babies and toddlers, including the claim that the vaccines were not effective.

Several weeks later, after U.S. regulators authorized the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for young children and the CDC recommended them, a CDC official responded by offering unsupported information.

“Claims that COVID-19 vaccines are ineffective for children ages 6 months to 4 years are false and belief in such claims could lead to back vaccine hesitancy,” the CDC official wrote. The names of all of the officials mentioned in this story were redacted in the emails, which were released as part of ongoing litigation against the U.S. government.

“COVID-19 vaccines available in the United States are effective at protecting people, including children ages 6 months to 4 years, from getting seriously ill, being hospitalized, and even dying,” the CDC official added.

There’s no evidence that the vaccines are effective against severe illness and death in young children.

Zero cases of severe COVID-19 were recorded in Moderna’s trial for children aged 6 months to 5 years, including none in the placebo arm. In Pfizer’s trial for children aged 6 months to 4 years, six out of the seven cases of COVID-19 occurred in children who received a vaccine.

“The clinical trials were not powered to detect efficacy against severe disease in young children,” Dr. Sara Oliver, a CDC official, said during a meeting before the agency recommended the vaccines for young children.

Additionally, the endpoint of the trials was a certain level of antibodies, which are believed but not proven to be a way to protect against COVID-19. The level was based on the level from adults in the original trials, which were completed in 2020.

Efficacy estimates for protection against infection showed low efficacy for Moderna’s vaccine; Pfizer’s was higher, but deemed unreliable.

“The trials do nothing to inform us about symptomatic infection risk after Pfizer and show us efficacy is poor after Moderna and we don’t know how long any protection might last,” Dr. Tracy Høeg, an epidemiologist in California, told The Epoch Times via email, adding that the trials “gave us no information about reduction of severe disease.”

The CDC, which bills itself as “the nation’s health protection agency,” says on its website that it has pledged to base all its decisions “on the highest quality scientific data that is derived openly and objectively.” Its officials have repeatedly said during the pandemic that the agency makes science-backed decisions.

The CDC was more circumspect earlier in 2022, the emails show. When asked to adjudicate whether claims were false, an official said that the agency “can’t speak to this until the pharmaceutical companies have reported data on vaccine efficacy against severe illness or death in the <5 year olds.”

Synthetic Embryo With Brain and Heart Formed Without Using Eggs or Sperm.

A synthetic embryo with cells capable of forming a brain and a beating heart was developed by researchers at the University of Cambridge using mouse stem cells. EuroNews described the effort as “yet another success in the unfolding race to develop embryos from human and mouse stem cells.”

The team, led by Professor Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz, developed the embryo model without using any eggs or sperm. The researchers used stem cells, specifically three types found in early mammalian development.

“By inducing the expression of a particular set of genes and establishing a unique environment for their interactions, the researchers were able to get the stem cells to ‘talk’ to each other,” explains a summary of the work.

“The stem cells self-organised into structures that progressed through the successive developmental stages until they had beating hearts and the foundations of the brain, as well as the yolk sac where the embryo develops and gets nutrients from in its first weeks.”

The synthetic embryo model developed by the Cambridge team is unique, as it reached a record level of development where the entire brain, including the anterior portion, began to develop.

The findings, which took researchers over a decade of work, could potentially be useful in understanding why some pregnancies fail along with developing synthetic organs for patients awaiting transplants.

The research also opens “new possibilities to study the mechanisms of neurodevelopment in an experimental model,” according to Zernicka-Goetz.

“In fact, we demonstrate the proof of this principle in the paper by knocking out a gene already known to be essential for formation of the neural tube, precursor of the nervous system, and for brain and eye development,” she continued.

“In the absence of this gene, the synthetic embryos show exactly the known defects in brain development as in an animal carrying this mutation. This means we can begin to apply this kind of approach to the many genes with unknown function in brain development.”

Writing at The Conversation, stem cell professor Megan Munsie observed:

In 2021, several teams managed to get human pluripotent stem cells (cells that can turn into any other type of cell) to self-aggregate in a Petri dish, mimicking the “blastocyst”. This is the earliest stage of embryonic development just before the complex process of implantation, when a mass of cells attach to the wall of the uterus.

Researchers using these human embryo models, often called blastoids, have even been able to start to explore implantation in a dish, but this process is much more challenging in humans than it is in mice.

In 2019, Science Alert reported on a “lab made human embryo” wherein they suggested “animal models can only go so far when it comes to pulling apart the complex mix of genetic and biochemical activity that turns a fertilised cell into a fully formed human.”s

All 10 Victims of Floatplane Crash Near Seattle Identified

WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash.—The 10 people killed in a floatplane crash in the waters of Puget Sound over the weekend have been identified.

The U.S. Coast Guard released the names of the crash victims early Tuesday. The body of one of the dead was recovered by a good Samaritan after Sunday afternoon’s crash. The other nine remain missing despite an extensive search.

The Northwest Seaplanes flight was on its way from Friday Harbor, a popular tourist destination in the San Juan Islands, to a Seattle suburb when it went down without sending out a distress call.

The dead include pilot Jason Winters, activist Sandy Williams, winemaker Ross Andrew Mickel, his pregnant wife Lauren Hilty, and their child Remy Mickel. Also killed were passengers Joanne Mera, Patricia Hicks, Luke Ludwig, Rebecca Ludwig, and Gabrielle Hanna. The Coast Guard did not provide hometowns.

Mickel was the founder of Woodinville-based Ross Andrew Winery.

“We are deeply saddened and beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved Ross Mickel, Lauren Hilty, Remy and their unborn baby boy, Luca,” the Mickel and Hilty families said in a statement. “Our collective grief is unimaginable. They were a bright and shining light in the lives of everyone who knew them.”

The Washington State Wine Commission said in an email that Ross had “an incredible impact on the Washington wine community” and will be greatly missed.

Williams was a lecturer, filmmaker, founder of the Carl Maxey Center and editor of The Black Lens, an African American-focused newspaper.

Thayne McCulloh, president of Gonzaga University, said the community lost a leader, teacher, and activist.

“I am devastated to learn of Sandy Williams’ passing and we @GonzagaU extend our condolences to her family, many friends and colleagues,” he wrote on Twitter. “Sandy: Rest In Peace.”

Joanne Mera was a business owner from San Diego, The Seattle Times reported. Her niece, Sami Sullivan, said she was visiting family in Seattle when the crash occurred. She leaves behind three children and a husband of more than 30 years, Sullivan said.

“Joanne Mera was someone everyone gravitated towards,” Sullivan said in a statement. “She was the life of any party and the soul of our family. She was the best mom, wife, sister and friend.”

The Coast Guard ended the search for survivors Monday afternoon after “saturating an area” of more than 2,100 square nautical miles (nearly 2,800 square miles or 7,250 square kilometers).

“All next of kin have been notified of this decision,” the Coast Guard said on Twitter. “Our hearts go out to the families, loved ones and friends of those who remain missing and the deceased.”

The plane went down in Mutiny Bay off Whidbey Island, roughly 30 miles northwest of downtown Seattle and about halfway between Friday Harbor and its destination in Renton, just south of Seattle.

Whidbey Island resident Jeff Brewny and his wife were walking their dog Sunday when they heard a loud boom.

“First thought was thunder. It was that loud,” he said. “There was no flash like you get with lightning. So, you know, I thought it was a boat exploded. It was that devastating. My dog went crazy.”

The owner of the seaplane company was aboard one of two flights that took off on Sunday, Scott Giard, director of the U.S. Coast Guard’s search and rescue for the Pacific Northwest, said at a new conference.

The owner told authorities he saw the other plane divert slightly off course and he tried to make radio contact but was unable to.

“Shortly after that, he noticed on his flight tracker that the flight had stopped tracking and notified authorities,” Giard said.

CNN President Chris Licht Makes First Major Hires In Attempt To Change Network

CNN President Chris Licht announced his first major hires Tuesday, including a former New York Police Department (NYPD) commissioner, amid his efforts to reform the network.

Licht hired John Miller, a former NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism, to serve as the Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst, the network announced in a press release. Miller previously had a career in journalism at CBS and ABC News, where he co-hosted ABC’s “20/20.”

Miller is known for landing an on-camera interview with Osama Bin Laden in 1998 while working at ABC News, the press release read. He earned two Peabody Awards, 11 Emmy Awards and an Alfred I during his career.

While working at the NYPD, Miller was involved in creating a new intelligence bureau unit known as “Racially and Ethnically Motivated Extremism (R.E.M.E),” primarily aimed at investigating and targeting terror from “far-right and neo-Nazi organizations,” the New York Times (NYT) reported in 2019.

The NYPD organized the group to resemble counterterrorism groups targeting Al-Qaida and the Islamic State, the NYT reported.

“You can wait for that terrible thing that has a terrible impact on human life to happen in New York City,” Miller said in 2019. “Or you can look at those things that are happening in all those other places and say, ‘Let’s organize a more focused effort to detect and prevent that now.’”

Miller was accused of lying under oath in March for denying his department did any wrongdoing by spying on Muslim-Americans in the aftermath of 9/11, the New York Daily News reported. The former demographics unit gathered intelligence on Muslims by having law enforcement allegedly eavesdrop on mosques, restaurants, schools and other public locations.

Many Muslim New Yorkers called on Democratic New York Mayor Eric Adams to censure Miller and “hold [him] accountable” for the alleged surveillance, Politico reported.

Italy's Salvini Breaks Ranks: 'End Energy Sanctions Against Russia Because We Are On Our Knees'

European solidarity continues cracking amid growing protests in different corners of the EU, with citizens angry at the collective policy of "standing up to Russia" in support of Ukraine at all costs. For example, Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock days ago openly expressed that she's committed to support Ukraine "no matter what German voters think."

But elsewhere, Italy's League party leader Matteo Salvini, (which the mainstream media consistently dubs as "far-right wing" - though he would describe his party as the government of "good sense") on Sunday broke ranks with other European leaders who have lately seemed to echo some form of this 'Ukraine first' policy.

On Sunday Salvini urged an end to Russia energy sanctions which are only leaving Europeans "on their knees" due to higher energy bills and lack of supply. "Several months have passed and people are paying two, three, even four times more for their bills," he said in an interview RTL radio. "And after seven months, the war continues and Russian Federation coffers are filling with money."

He explained that not only are the sanctions not working, but they hit Italy harder. While saying he stands in solidarity with Ukraine, he's not willing to stick with something obviously counterproductive where the blowback is felt more in Europe, Italy in particular with its soaring energy import prices, and not the intended target of the Putin government.

This was the same message he issued to a gathering of Italy's political leaders on Lake Como, where he stressed that Russia's export surplus of $140 billion is the direct result of these backfired sanctions.

"Do we have to defend Ukraine? Yes," Salvini said. "But I would not want the sanctions to harm those who impose them more than those who are hit by them." Politico meanwhile noted his coalition is expected to win big in late September national elections:

Salvini's remarks come just weeks before Italians head to the polls on September 25 in a national election in which a right-wing coalition that includes the League is expected to win. His comments could therefore raise concerns about the future government's resolve against Russia among other EU politicians, especially given one of Salvini's allies in the coalition, Brothers of Italy leader Giorgia Meloni, has vowed to stand firm with NATO on tough measures against Moscow.

Air Force colonel on video: ‘Stop hiring middle-aged white dudes’

The video, originally taken in February, showed Col. Mark Wootan on a video teleconference call saying “The only real guidance I put out there for them is stop hiring middle-aged white people, especially dudes that are pilots.”

“Because honestly we all think alike too much,” Wootan continued. “And if we’re going to be preaching diversity and being inclusive then for crying out loud let’s back it up with that, let’s make the rhetoric meet the reality.”

It is not completely clear who Wootan was referring to specifically when he shared his hiring advice, but his reference to “dudes that are pilots” suggests some connection to the Air Force itself.

The popular unofficial Air Force amn/nco/snco Facebook page shared the caught-on-camera video recording back in February. The footage regained attention over the weekend as Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) shared it again on his Instagram account last week.

In a caption for the video, Crenshaw wrote:

This clip is from February but it was just sent to me by someone who’s concerned about the woke gender and racial ideology being turned into policy by our military leadership. We don’t know everything about this clip, but it seems this Air Force Colonel, in uniform, is basically saying ‘be racist and sexist when recruiting!’

I’d welcome – and expect – an explanation from the Air Force. Is this an acceptable statement from a leader, especially as the military struggles to recruit?

Investigating wokeism in our military will be part of our oversight list when Republicans take back the House in November.

Wootan served as the commander of Civil Air Patrol-U.S. Air Force (CAP-USAF) at the time the video appears to have been taken. Wootan retired from active duty service in April; and Col. Tyler P. Frander assumed his last command over CAP-USAF.

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a civilian auxiliary of the Air Force. CAP is not an operating reserve component of the military, but is organized under the 1st Air Force and may fulfill some noncombat missions such as disaster relief efforts.

CAP-USAF, based out of Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, did not respond to an American Military News request for comment at the time of this article’s publication.

The video of Wootan’s comments resurfaced just weeks after the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force was accused of halting the hiring of white males to meet the service’s diversity goals. The RAF has denied the allegations.

Oz says he would have certified Biden’s win over Trump

Mehmet Oz, the celebrity physician and Trump-backed Republican Senate nominee in Pennsylvania, said on Tuesday that he would have voted to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election had he been in office at the time.

Asked at a press conference if he would have objected to the certification of the election results, Oz said that it is the job of the Senate to approve the Electoral College vote and that, had he been in the Senate at the time, he would have done so.

“I would not have objected to it,” Oz said. “By the time the delegates and those reports were sent to the U.S. Senate, our job was to approve it, which is what I would have done.”

While Oz’s latest remarks could help him counter Democratic attacks and appeal to a broader slice of the electorate, it also puts him at risk of alienating former President Trump and some of the Republican Party’s most loyal voters.

Trump has repeatedly claimed that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him and pushed lawmakers last year to object to the certification of the election results. The certification process on Jan. 6, 2021 was disrupted when a mob of the former president’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol. That riot is now the subject of a congressional investigation.

Oz, who was endorsed by Trump shortly before Pennsylvania’s primary election earlier this year, narrowly clinched the nomination to succeed retiring Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.). He’s facing Pennsylvania Lt. Gov John Fetterman (D) in the general election in November.

Recent polling shows him trailing Fetterman, fueling Republican concerns that they could lose one of the most sought-after Senate seats of the 2022 midterm election cycle.

A survey from Emerson College released last month found Fetterman leading Oz by 5 percentage points, while an earlier Franklin & Marshall College poll showed Oz trailing by 13 points.

Russian rabbis meet in Moscow to discuss growing unease amid war, call for peace

Conference also serves as thinly veiled criticism of rabbis who’ve fled country due to their open opposition to its invasion of Ukraine

Dozens of Russian rabbis met on Monday to discuss the challenges facing them and their communities in the wake of their country’s brutal invasion of neighboring Ukraine and as a subtle criticism of former Moscow chief rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, who fled the country due to his explicit anti-war views.

The gathering of some 75 rabbis — most of them from the Chabad-Lubavitch sect— was organized by the Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia, one of the country’s two largest Jewish organizations.

In addition to the general crackdowns on civil society and free speech in Russia since the start of the invasion, the Jewish community in particular has felt under attack in recent months as Russian authorities have sought to shut down the Jewish Agency’s activities in the country.

At the conference, which was held in Moscow, the rabbis issued a resolution calling “for peace and the cessation of the bloodshed.”

“We call on world leaders to do everything in their power to bring peace between nations. Peace is a Divine value and is the foundation for the existence of humanity in the world,” they wrote.

The resolution, however, notably did not mention Ukraine explicitly or assign blame for the war.

The federation’s statement did refer to the conflict as an “invasion,” which amounts to a moderately rebellious move in Russia, where the war is generally referred to euphemistically as a “special military operation.”

Among the 75 rabbis in attendance at the gathering were Chabad’s Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, who has issued tepid condemnations of the war, and the federation’s president Rabbi Alexander Boroda, who has repeated Russian government talking points about rising Nazism in Ukraine. Israel’s Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi also addressed the conference, reading a letter sent by President Isaac Herzog.

Since the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, some 20,000 Russians have immigrated to Israel — the largest number in some two decades — fleeing an evermore oppressive regime under Russian strongman Vladimir Putin. Nearly 200,000 Jews now live in Russia, though roughly three times as many are eligible for Israeli citizenship, having at least one Jewish grandparent.

“Relations between Russia and the rest of the world have rapidly deteriorated since the invasion began in February, resulting in economic uncertainty and, of significant concern to the Jewish community in particular, a sense of fear and isolation not felt in decades,” said a statement from the federation.

At the conference, organizers said, the rabbis “recommit to their pledge to continue leading their communities and not abandoning them during these difficult times.”

Asia: Sextortion ring dismantled by police

LYON, FRANCE: In June 2022, INTERPOL launched a public awareness campaign warning Internet users of a dramatic increase in digital extortion threats.

Under the banner #YouMayBeNext and supported by 75 INTERPOL member countries and 21 public or private entities, the campaign focused particularly on sextortion, ransomware and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.

In a vivid example of the threat these attacks represent, international police action supported by INTERPOL has uncovered and dismantled a transnational sextortion ring that managed to extract at least USD 47,000 from victims. So far, the investigation has traced 34 cases back to the syndicate.

The cybercriminals contacted their victims, based mainly in Hong Kong (China) and Singapore, through online sex and dating platforms before asking them to download a malicious mobile application via a hyperlink to engage in ‘naked chats’.

Little did the victims know that this app was specifically designed to steal their phones’ contact lists. The syndicate would then blackmail victims by threatening to circulate their nude videos to their relatives and friends.

Anyone’s nightmare

Thanks to reports from victims, law enforcement soon began to zero in on the perpetrators, establishing a joint investigation between INTERPOL’s cybercrime division and police forces in Hong Kong (China) and Singapore.

”We conducted a proactive investigation and in-depth analysis of a zombie command and control server hosting the malicious application, which – along with the joint efforts by our counterparts – allowed us to identify and locate individuals linked to the criminal syndicate,” said Raymond Lam Cheuk Ho, Acting Head of the Hong Kong Police’s Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau.

In July and August, 12 suspected core members of the sextortion ring were arrested.

“I am convinced that no single police agency would have been able to achieve this result alone,” Mr Lam said. “The international police collaboration through INTERPOL was absolutely crucial.”

“Having a criminal access the most intimate aspects of your life and using this information against you to extort enormous sums of cash is anyone’s nightmare – and the most frightening part is that anyone could fall victim to this type of crime,” said Stephen Kavanagh, INTERPOL’s Executive Director of Police Services.

“Sextortionists sometimes count on their victims feeling too much shame to go to the police, but reporting these crimes is often the first step to bringing these criminals to justice,” Mr Kavanagh added.

Sharp rise in sextortion

Sextortion is when criminals coerce or trick their victims into sharing explicit images or videos, which are subsequently used for blackmail. A sharp rise in sextortion reports has been observed around the world in recent years, mirroring a rise in other types of cybercrime that has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Millions Face Flash Flood Warnings and Watches in the Northeast

A massive plume of moisture stretching from the eastern Pacific all the way to the U.S. East Coast is bringing excessive rain to the Northeast, with some places already flooding.

Over 50 million people are under flood watches through the end of Tuesday, meaning flooding is possible and people should remain alert. Cities under watches include Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Providence, Rhode Island.

On Tuesday morning, millions of people were under flash flood warnings in parts of Connecticut and Pennsylvania, meaning flooding was already happening in some locations.

“Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly” specifically in central Middlesex and central Haven counties, the National Weather Service said.

Flash flooding is also possible over West Virginia and the central Appalachians as well, the Weather Prediction Center said.

This heavy rain is all a part of the same storm system that brought flooding to portions of Georgia on Sunday and extreme rains to the Appalachians and the Northeast on Monday.

Sydney high school uses controversial technology to stop vandalism in toilets

A high school in Sydney's south-west has come up with a novel way to tackle vandalism in the bathrooms however it has sparked outrage from students and parents.

Moorebank High School has installed touch pads to scan students' fingerprints outside the bathrooms if students want to use the toilet during class.

"They're are trying to do their best to keep them safe and I think there is nothing wrong with it," a parent said.

The biometric technology was offered to the school by the education department to stop vandalism and anti-social behaviour in the school toilets.

Parent Julia Scutella is on the school's community focus group and said the technology is about making students feel safe.

"The state of the bathrooms, you cant use a bathroom that is covered in urine and faeces," Scutella said.

But not all parents are happy about the new technology.

"I've had my daughters finger print deleted, I rang the school straight away and told them to delete my daughter's fingerprint, she's not a criminal, you've taken my parents' rights away because you didn't consent me, no email, no nothing," Kylie Anderson said.

"We haven't had any sort of information on what's going to happen, like, or asking parents to give permission," Svjetlina Brajic said.

CNN Reporter Slams Media for Ignoring FBI’s Handling of Biden Family Business Whistleblower Intel

CNN reporter Sarah Sidner is now claiming questions surrounding Hunter Biden and the Bidens’ family business scheme are “serious,” “legitimate,” and nonpartisan — retweeting an article from five months ago about counterintelligence concerns around the first son and his ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

The claim from Sidner comes after her network spent years since the “laptop from hell” story originally broke in the New York Post ignoring the evidence against the Biden scion.

“There are serious questions that should be asked about Hunter Biden,” Sidner said. “H’s [Hunter is] not an elected official but legitimate questions should be asked and answered about his former business dealings and how it was handled by the FBI.”

“This should’nt be a partisan issue,” she added.

Sidner’s comments follow revelations the FBI warned Facebook of the imminent “dump” of “Russian propaganda” before the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop broke in the 2020 election cycle. While the FBI was communicating with Facebook, the FBI’s leadership blocked agents from investigating Hunter Biden’s laptop until after the 2020 election was decided, according to whistleblowers that came forward to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

A former business associate of Hunter, Tony Bobulinski, who personally met with Joe and Hunter Biden in 2017 for an hour to discuss “the Bidens’ family business plans with the Chinese,” handed over intelligence about a Biden family business deal to former FBI “point man” Timothy Thibault, who reportedly buried the information. The deal included ten percent “held by H for the big guy,” who Bobulinski says is President Joe Biden.

Left-Wing Guardian Review Trashes ‘My Son Hunter’: ‘Fiction-Laced Retelling of Hunter Biden Laptop Nothingburger … for Fringe Lunatics’

t was a forgone conclusion that mainstream movie critics — virtually all of whom are far-left radicals — would trash My Son Hunter. Throwing himself onto what will inevitably be a left-wing pile-on, The Guardian‘s assigned reviewer Charles Bramesco led the charge on Tuesday, delivering a snide pan while also playing white knight to Hunter Biden by spreading the falsehood that the laptop scandal is a mere “nothingburger.”

He also insulted the movie’s potential audience as a bunch of “fringe lunatics.”

Bramesco clearly doesn’t read some of the other publications he writes for — namely, The New York Times, which has authenticated the laptop from hell after spending much of 2020 dismissing it as “baroque mythology.” Other left-wing media outlets, including CNN, have also admitted the laptop is real after trying hard to dismiss it as Russian disinformation.

In his review, Bramesco casts himself and other like-minded leftists as good and sane, while the movie’s target audience is just crazy.

“The truth is that the latest feature-length output from the conservative peanut gallery poses little threat to the viewing public, its foamy-mouthed partisanship speaking only to those already simpatico to its theories and alienating the saner majority within its opening minutes,” he argues.

“It doesn’t deserve time or mental energy from right-thinking citizens, but if the past decade of American politics has taught us anything, it’s that ignoring extremism does not make it go away.”

The review strains itself trying once again to bury the laptop scandal, calling it “tinfoil-hatted mumbo-jumbo” and a “dank bog of paranoia and conspiracy theorizing.”

But not all of it is negative. The reviewer reserves faint praise for British actor Laurence Fox as Hunter Biden, calling his performance a “weirdly magnetic leading turn.” He also appeared to appreciate the movie’s complex take on Hunter “as a macho Fredo slapped down by a life he was never meant for.”

In similar spirit, Bramesco deserves nominal points for actually watching My Son Hunter before panning it — a low bar if ever there was one. His Guardian colleague Emma Brockes apparently didn’t watch the movie before writing her attack.

Georgia County Using Dominion Machines Adds Vote Between Nov 3 Count and Machine Recount

For those of us that are concerned with election integrity, “Human Error”, “technical glitch”, “the problem has been corrected” are all statements and explanations we seem to hear repeated over and over again regarding elections in this country. For those who are still plugged into the mockingbird media, they hear “Big Lie”, “most secure election in American history”, and “‘MAGA Republicans’ are trying to overturn the election.”

The media asks “then show us the fraud.” Well, “show us the election first.” It’s difficult to prove a murder without being allowed to see the body, the crime scene, the weapon, etc. We still cannot get access to hand marked paper ballots in any of these jurisdictions mentioned below. Hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars, maybe millions, are being spent to thwart the inspection of physical ballots. We are still being stonewalled in many jurisdictions from open records request for election materials.

But citizens turned investigators have still found some compelling evidence. For example, citizen investigators found through publicly available ballot images, a peculiar addition of a vote from the first machine count on Nov 3 to the second machine recount a couple of weeks later. This added vote, a perfectly filled in circle, was only able to be found because of some writing at the top of the ballot that gave away it’s identity because the tabulator, batch and ballot number all changed between the original count and the recount, as if the ballots were shuffled up. If they ran a batch through a different tabulator, then perhaps that number changing could be argued. But to change the batch ID and ballot positioning from one count to the next seems to be a deliberate obfuscation.

It is worth noting that Fulton Co, GA, the most populated jurisdiction in the state, has no record of their election day ballot images for comparison to the machine recount images. It is also worth noting that the same Cherokee Co (and Pickens Co) recently went against the will of their constituents by refusing a hand recount of the 2022 primary race.

The obvious question here is how does a ballot end up with an extra vote from one count to the next? And are there more like it that were hidden by the shuffling of the ballots prior to the recount? The “overvote” on the ballot cancels out the original vote for Donald J Trump for President. We have reached out to Cherokee County twice, once in June and once again this week, for explanation. We will update the article if they respond.

We know that these machines can be manipulated in a way that they can change votes in real time faster than the machines can scan, as reported in August by The Gateway Pundit. Ironically, the two students who presented this information also studied under J. Alex Halderman. Halderman is the author of a sealed report that warranted this CISA advisory back in June.

For a recent episode I did on this ballot, check out the following video.

This is not the only major discrepancy…

This potential violation of the voter’s civil rights as well criminal law is just one of many instances where there doesn’t seem to be any interest in resolving the issue:

Antrim Co, Michigan and Dekalb Co, Georgia
