Moscow accuses West of breaking ‘grain deal’ pledge

Unimpeded access for Russian food products to the world market has not been provided, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said

Western countries havenot fulfilled their promise to lift sanctions on Russian grain and fertilizersto allow them to reach world markets, the country’s foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, said on Tuesday.

The commitment was part of a deal brokered by the UN and Turkey and signed in Istanbul in July to unblock Ukraine’s grain exports and ease a looming global food crisis.

Lavrov stressed that “artificially inflated”Western claims that Russian actions in Ukraine had undermined the stability of the global food market are “absolutely not the case.”

“On the contrary, our Western colleagues are not doing what we were promised by the UN secretary general, namely, they are not making a decision to remove logistical sanctions that prevent free access of Russian grain and fertilizers to world markets,” the minister pointed out at a joint press conference with his Thai counterpart, Don Pramudwinai.

Lavrov added that Russia continues to work with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his team to ensure the organization fulfills its obligations under the Istanbul agreements.

Wheat deliveries from Ukraine, a major producer, were disrupted after Russia launched its military operation in the neighboring state in late February. The two sides traded accusations over who was responsible for the stoppage of cargo traffic out of Ukrainian ports. Since August 1, however, when shipments from the ports resumed, 92 vessels have departed, bringing more than 2 million tons of food goods to global markets.

Dollar’s fate in Russia revealed

Deputy Economy Minister Ilya Torosov expects de-dollarization to only intensify

Trading volumes in the currencies of "friendly nations" will multiply in the near future, according to Deputy Economy Minister Ilya Torosov, who expects the de-dollarization of the Russian economy to only gain momentum in the near future.

He stressed that the Chinese yuan would lead the process amid strong cooperation between Moscow and Beijing, which has deepened even more in the wake of the latest Western sanctions imposed on Russia.

“We are switching to mutual trade using yuan and ruble settlements, and moving away from dollar and euro,” Torosov told RT at the seventh annual Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. “This is inevitably leading there.”

The deputy minister added that mutual payments using the ruble and the currencies of “friendly states” are one of the major goals for the Russian government and its allies.

Last month, yuan-ruble trading outpaced the dollar-ruble pairing on the Moscow Exchange for the first time ever. The yuan-ruble pair also exceeded volumes in the euro-ruble pair in late July. In August, Russia’s payment volumes in the Chinese currency made the country the third largest market in the world outside mainland China for yuan.

Kremlin says when Putin could visit Donbass

Such a trip will take place when the time is right, Dmitry Peskov says

Russian President Vladimir Putin will certainly pay a visit to Donbass, but the date for such a trip hasn’t been set yet, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov has said.

“As for the president's trip [to the People’s Republics of Donetsk (DPR) and Lugansk (LPR)], I have no doubts that when the right time comes such a visit will take place,”Peskov told the newspaper Izvestia on Tuesday.

He also said that Moscow has “vast plans” in terms of rebuilding Donbass, which has ended up being the main battlefield in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“You can see that construction is underway, and new facilities are being commissioned. Vigorous efforts are being undertaken in order to restore all essential utility systems. Those are water pipelines, energy supply, social facilities. Hard work is underway, and many many thousands of people are involved in it,”the spokesman pointed out.

The most high-ranking officials from Moscow to visit Donbass so far have been Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, who inspected the Russian troops in both the DPR and LPR in July, and parliament speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, who traveled to Lugansk the same month with a group of MPs.

EU Сommission approves suspension of visa deal with Russia

The EU’s simplified visa accord with Moscow could be officially suspended as early as next week

The European Commission has backed a proposal issued by EU foreign ministers to suspend an agreement with Moscow that allows Russian citizens to apply for visas under simplified procedures.

In a statement put out on Tuesday, the commission said it hopes the EU Council will approve the move and introduce stricter visa rules for Russians by next Monday.

“Russian citizens should not have easy access to the EU,” Ylva Johansson, the bloc's commissioner for home affairs, told reporters. “At the moment, there is no basis for trust, no basis for a privileged relation between EU and Russia.”

The new rules would make it more expensive and time-consuming for Russian citizens hoping to travel to the EU to get a visa. If approved by the Council, Russians would have to pay an €80 service fee instead of the previous €35 fee in order to apply for a visa.

Processing times for visas would also significantly increase if the deal is scrapped, possibly being extended to as long as 45 days, as opposed to the current ten days.

Additionally, long-term or multiple-entry visas for Russians could either be completely eliminated or severely restricted, meaning that Russian citizens would only be able to receive single-entry Schengen visas that are limited to specific dates.

The EU Commission is also proposing that the bloc remain open to certain categories of Russians, who are “travelling for essential purposes, including notably family members of EU citizens, journalists, dissidents and civil society representatives.”

The statement comes after the union’s foreign ministers voted last week to suspend the EU-Russia Visa Facilitation Deal, with top foreign policy official Josep Borrell stating that “border crossings from Russia into neighboring states” posed a security risk.

Moscow has warned that the European Union’s decision to suspend the visa deal would be met with retaliatory steps. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko stated last month that “violation, circumvention or withdrawal of the EU from the visa facilitation agreement with Russia will not remain without consequences,” and warned that the visa decision would ultimately do the bloc more harm than good.

US will make attack on Taiwan ‘really hard’ for China — air force general

Attacking Taiwan would be “one of the most difficult military operations in history” for Beijing, General Clinton Hinote warned

The Pentagon is prepared to target China’s core logistical support should it show aggression toward Taiwan, US General and Deputy Chief of Staff for Air Force Futures Clinton Hinote warned during an Atlantic Council panel on the future of air warfare on Tuesday.

“We’re going to make it really really hard to do offensive maneuvers against our friends and I would hope that our potential adversary China might think about that if they are contemplating the difficulty of getting across a 90 mile strait and going against Taiwan,” Hinote explained. “I would hope they would realize we’re not just going to let their logistics flow.”

We’re going to do everything we can to stop it and make that one of the most difficult military operations in history, and I think we have a chance to do that.

The general had returned to the subject of a potential war with China after he was asked about the “one lesson” he hoped the US military might take from the war in Ukraine, which was the focus of the event held by the think tank’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security.

“We’d better understand logistics in this [Ukraine] conflict … achieving logistical support for a war of this intensity is hard,” he responded before pivoting back to Asia. “I don’t see it being any less intense in the Pacific.”

He also floated the threat of a Taiwan invasion to illustrate how the US’ strategic approach needed to focus on maintaining the current balance of power rather than overthrowing or upsetting its centers.

“We want to see the status quo continue! We don’t want to see China come over the Taiwan Strait and invade Taiwan, or to send missiles toward Japan, or to see Russia attack into [sic] a NATO ally,” he argued, insisting, “Our military capabilities ought to reflect that.”

Hinote has long called for the Pentagon to pay attention to the threat posed by Chinese military ascendency, insisting Beijing is rapidly catching up to Washington. During a congressional hearing last year, he told Congress thatthe US was losing to China in war-game simulations on a regular basis, urging legislators not to view Beijing’s superiority as a “future problem” so much as a “current problem.”

US shares blame in ruined ties with Russia – Clinton’s defense secretary

Washington disregarded Moscow's key security issues following the breakup of the Soviet Union, the ex-official argues

The US antagonized Russia by ignoring its post-USSR suffering and intrinsic security interests and needs to acknowledge this before ties with Moscow can be mended, William Perry, who served as secretary of defense under President Bill Clinton has said.

Perry, a veteran advocate for the reduction of weapons of mass destruction, called for some introspection in Washington DC in an opinion piece published on Monday by the outlet Outrider.

Subsequent US administrations pursued policies that antagonized the Russian people after the collapse of the USSR, Perry argued. The US didn’t care much about the suffering that Russia’s transition to a capitalist economy brought and ignored Russian concerns about NATO’s encroachment on its borders, he said.

“The combination of the West failing to act during Russia’s financial crisis, and ignoring their strongly-held views on NATO expansion, reinforced a prevailing Russian belief that we didn’t take them seriously,” the article said. “Indeed, many in the West saw Russia only as the loser of the Cold War, not worthy of our respect.”

Perry, who headed up the Pentagon between 1994 and 1997, was a strong supporter of a program called Partnership for Peace. This was a compromise that allowed Eastern European nations and Russia to train with NATO troops but, in a nod to Russian objections, didn’t bring former Warsaw Pact nations into NATO.

The Clinton administration ultimately pushed for a formal expansion of the military bloc, setting the stage for an increasingly tense relationship with Russia that culminated in the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

The American attitude pushed Russians towards supporting Vladimir Putin, a person he describes as “an autocratic leader who would instead demand respect and power through force.” Perry said he considers the Russian leader an enemy of the US but argued that “there is no organic reason” why Russia itself should be one.

“We must work to rebuild connections with Russia, treat the Russian people with respect, and rebuild our relationships, in the hopes that we can once again return to the path of friendship,” he concluded.

Zombie Media Cartel Bill Back and Worse Than Ever: Would Strengthen Legacy Media, Punish Anti-Establishment Outlets

Allum Bokhari6 Sep 2022

A new version of the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA) is circulating that is worse than the original. It allows mainstream, legacy and left-wing media to form exclusionary media cartels and then empowers them with extraordinary collective-bargaining power to collude with Big Tech companies. The amendments serve only to spell out in greater specificity how to exclude conservative and anti-establishment media from any alleged benefits.

Specifically, the new JCPA contains a provision that allows “eligible” media companies forming a cartel to “create admission criteria for membership unrelated to the size of an eligible digital journalism provider or the views expressed by its content, including criteria to limit membership to only eligible publishers or only eligible broadcasters.”

That provision is significant especially for its specificity. These mainstream and left-wing media cartels may not exclude based on size or “views expressed by its content.” But that is not how the exclusion happens or will happen.

These self-appointed mainstream and left-wing media cartels ARE allowed to exclude based on the usual, totally subjective, factors they always do, such as: “trustworthiness,” “fake news, “extremism,” “misinformation,” “hate speech,” “conspiracy,” “correction policy,” “expertise,” “authoritativeness,” etc.

All of these terms are viewpoint neutral, yet when interpreted by leftist NGOs, “media watchdogs” like NewsGuard, and the fact checkers and content moderators of Big Tech, inevitably end up targeting just one side of the political spectrum, with only the occasional token reprimand of the corporate mainstream media.

Despite misleading the American public that pushed the discredited “Russiagate” conspiracy theory, like the New York Times and the Washington Post, continue to receive a “green” approval rating from NewsGuard, while news outlets that debunked the conspiracy theory, like Breitbart News and Fox News, are smeared as untrustworthy and unreliable.

It is easy to imagine a news cartel pointing to NewsGuard criteria – or the criteria of any organization presenting itself as an “independent watchdog” – as an allegedly viewpoint-neutral excuse to exclude conservative and independent media.

The bottom line is that any conservative or independent, or any free speech advocate, much less any Republican who does not see this fatal flaw is whistling past the graveyard and is not worthy of political support.

All they are doing by supporting this amended bill is rewarding mainstream, legacy, and left-wing publishers and Big Tech by allowing them to exclude whomever they deem not part of the club – and who do they think that will be?

Fortunately, several important voices are speaking up. Numerous witnesses have testified to the bill’s failings before the Senate and House, including award-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald, former local journalist Dan Gainor, and former federal antitrust enforcer Dr. Daniel Francis.

The GOP leadership in the House of Representatives has condemned the bill. In the Senate, the bill has been condemned by a growing number of Republican senators, including Marsha Blackburn, Marco Rubio, Tom Cotton, and Mike Lee. Republican FCC Commissioner Nathan Simington, and the legal scholar who worked on President Trump’s proposed Section 230 reforms have also warned of the dangers of the legislation.

It’s not just conservatives opposing the bill —These include Public Knowledge, which called it a gift to “Wall Street media executives,” and Fight for the Future, which argued it enables an internet-killing “link tax,” and Free Press, which called it a bailout for Rupert Murdoch. The left-leaning Electronic Frontier Foundationalso opposes the bill. All emphasized how the bill would benefit America’s largest, wealthiest, and most corrupt media companies.

Despite this widespread opposition, lobbyists have brought the JCPA back again, with amendments that shouldleave the public in no doubt that this is a bailout for the legacy media.

UK Aid Agencies Testing Insect Diets in Hunger-Stricken African Nations

Simon Kent2 Sep 2022

If you’re hungry you’ll eat anything to survive. This basic premise is being tested in hunger-stricken African nations where UK aid agencies are trialling insect diets for those suffering starvation in countries once able to feed themselves.

UK spending on pushing the theory of insect consumption – a proposition long linked with climate activists – is targeting the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Zimbabwe, the Guardian newspaper reports.

The outlet says a £50,000 (U.S.$57,000) UK aid project in the DRC is putting African caterpillars, migratory locusts and black soldier flies on the menu.

The move comes after South Korean scientists outlined in a study published last month eating worms could help humanity survive in a future world starved of food and nutrition, as Breitbart News reported.

The researchers cooked mealworms, or beetle larvae, along with sugar to create “meat” — and they claim it tastes authentic as an acceptable alternative nutrition source, although “image problems” remain in some nations used to more sophisticated daily fare.

Not so in Africa.

The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (Cafod), a charity in England and Wales, hopes the Congolese will begin farming insects in an industrialised manner as a way of ending starvation problems in the region.

Cafod did not respond to a Guardian inquiry about how it intended to use the money.

Meanwhile in Zimbabwe, another development project is underway to use mopane worms in porridge served in schools.

The slimy green caterpillars, which turn into emperor moths, are already commonly picked for consumption from vegetation during the rainy seasons in rural parts of Zimbabwe.

Dr Sarah Beynon, the founder of the Bug Farm in Pembrokeshire, England, and an academic entomologist, said aid projects promoting edible insects were “a sure way to save lives and improve nutrition of the poorest people on planet Earth.”

She told the Guardian: “We are also actively encouraging people in the developed world to include insects in their diets.

“With a population that has an appetite set to far exceed the planetary limits, and with current agriculture decimating biodiversity and changing the climate, we have no option but to change how we produce and consume food … and our views on the topic too.”

Both Africa aid projects were funded through UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), an arms-length body of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

A UKRI spokesperson confirmed to the Guardian: “We support specific research projects with funding, but we anticipate that the learnings and knowledge gleaned will benefit citizens around the world irrespective of their economic status. The protein and environmental benefits of consuming insects have been widely reported globally.

California Governor Reminds All Correct Thinking Citizens to Remain Committed to Scarce Energy Resource Allocation

September 6, 2022 | Sundance |

Comrade Citizens, it is important we stop thinking wrong thoughts about increasing the supply of abundant, natural energy resources as a tool to offset the sustainability of human life which might include selfish pursuits of happiness. Correct thinking citizens view themselves as parasites upon our great planet, especially in California.

To affirm equity needs of our collective society as the electricity resource becomes increasingly scarce, California Governor Gavin Newsom reminds everyone to change their habit for electricity use and embrace the new era of scarcity. Habits must be changed comrade citizens if we are to collectively work toward our communal energy goals and climate change aspirations.

As dear leader clearly expresses in his plea for voluntary compliance, we can get through this transition and embrace the new scarcity mindset if we just accept our responsibility to the collective need of a better society, a place where the rules will always be in our interests. WATCH:

Yes, we can comrades. Yes, we can.

Russia Shuts Down Nord Stream 1 Gas Pipeline, Gasprom Sends out Eerie Video ‘Winter is Coming’

September 6, 2022 | Sundance

Well, it looks like it’s official now. After several days of sporadic reporting on Russia’s decision to shut down the Nord Stream 1 natural gas pipeline into western Europe, it looks like the valves have been shut down until EU sanctions against Russia are removed.

Strategically the Nord Stream 1 pipeline is the major gas supply route into Germany, Europe’s largest economy. As noted by Reuters, “European gas prices, as measured by the benchmark Dutch TTF October gas contract, rose by as much as 30% on Sept. 5, amid growing fears of a total shutdown of Russian pipeline imports ahead of the European winter.”

Europe was already going into a deep economic recession due to inflation created by pre-existing green energy policy. The Nord Stream shutdown will make things exponentially worse as energy prices skyrocket. The Russian owned energy company Gasprom sent out a videothat can be best described as psychological warfare. In Biden's America, 1 in 6 U.S. Households Can't Afford Their Energy Bills

Athena Thorne

Twenty million U.S. households — one out of every six — can’t afford to pay their energy bills, according to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association. This latest financial struggle hits as Americans have already been walloped with runaway inflation, higher food prices, historically expensive commutes, and rocketing interest payments on revolving debt.

“Electricity prices have spiked due to the skyrocketing cost of natural gas. According to the Energy Information Administration, natural gas is the biggest source of electricity generation in the U.S.,” reports MoneyWise:

A year ago, natural gas traded at $4.31 per metric million British thermal unit. Today, it’s at $9.34 per MMBtu.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that July prices for electricity jumped 15.2% from a year ago, marking the biggest 12-month increase since 2006.

It seems like the heady days of cheap, plentiful energy were a lifetime ago, instead of the less than two years since Democrats wrested the White House from President Trump and his pro-America, pro-efficiency policies. Leftists have a death grip on their dreams of green energy and are determined to drag us all down this path, no matter the consequences.

And there are consequences a-plenty. In August, the National Energy Assistance Directors Association told Bloomberg that this is the worst crisis they’ve ever documented. The outlet quoted Jean Su, a senior attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity, as saying, “I expect a tsunami of shutoffs.” The luckiest people will be those who heat their homes with oil or gas; if they can only afford to pay one utility bill, they may spend a lot of time in the dark eating cold food, but at least they won’t freeze. People who heat their homes with electricity and can’t afford the utility bill will be in dire straits.

Europe is expected to be even harder hit this winter. My colleague Chris Queen recently wrote:

Europe is beginning to reap the consequences of the green embrace, and it doesn’t look appealing. The combination of this enviro-religious fervor and the energy shortages that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has brought about has created dystopic conditions and dire predictions for Europeans.

CNN is reporting that Germany will drop a cool 2.5% of its entire GDP assisting citizens with heating bills, while England will spend $115 billion — nearly three times as much as it spent on its “pandemic furlough scheme, in which the government subsidized workers’ salaries to prevent mass layoffs.”

In December of 2021, “President” Joe Biden warned Americans who preferred not to obtain a novel injection would face a “winter of severe illness and death.” That turned out not to be the case at all, but a year later, far too many people are looking down the barrel of a cold, dark, miserable winter. But this time, it was completely preventable.

(They always planned it for 2022, they had to scare people to death for close to two years. I think this “dark winter” in the US will not occur at the level they want)

(EU cannot use the fake vaccine to kill people, so they will freeze citizens to death, under the guise it Russia’s fault. Why? Because thats how they roll! Always deceiving!)

Here's Why You Should Lawyer-Up Before Sending Your Kids Back to School

Megan Fox.part 1 of 2

You’ve seen the parents at school board meetings all over the country airing their grievances with the public school system. Maybe you are one of those parents who went to the board hoping to advocate for your student and found them less than willing to address issues. Most of them sit stone-faced or complain that they are being criticized. Some of them violate parents’ rights and have them removed or silenced for disagreeing with the board’s policies. I have a back-to-school ritual that I think goes a lot further toward having a good relationship with your public school district right off the bat instead of waiting for problems to crop up.

Many of you know that I homeschooled my oldest two children until second and sixth grade, at which point they went into private school. But after 8th grade, there were no other options except public school in my area. While I am supportive of the idea of public school, the reality doesn’t quite match up to expectations, especially for conservative religious families. Public schools can be very hostile to these students, especially with the flood of LGBTQ cult programming that is inserted into the curriculum—unless religious parents hold government schools accountable to the Constitution.

Smart parents can reduce the amount of political and cult programming their children are exposed to by establishing from the outset what the students’ rights are, as well as the consequences the schools could face—that will make everyone’s life miserable—if those rights are not respected. I do it in the form of a letter announcing to the district that my child has a lawyer and asking them to put the lawyer’s information in her file. It requires the district to call that lawyer in the event that any government agent, police officer, social worker, or another official should want to talk to my child. Here’s what it looks like:

This letter is to inform you that [student name] is represented by me, [lawyer name], in all legal matters. In the event that any member of the police, sheriff’s department, FBI, child welfare agent, or any other agent of the state (to be defined as those with arrest and/or seizure power which includes any representative from the Department of Human Services, social services, child protective services, health department or otherwise empowered government official) should seek to meet with, speak to, or obtain information from my client, please notify me immediately. My client has been instructed of her 5th Amendment right and will invoke it until I can arrive. It is my expectation that the [School District] will observe my client’s Constitutional right as a US citizen and as a minor who is entitled to proper representation if questioned by any government agent.

If you have not talked to your children about their Fifth Amendment right to remain silent rather than self-incriminate, what are you waiting for? The number of CPS investigations that have been launched because of innocent statements children made to social workers that turned into “abuse” allegations is astounding. You do not want it to happen to you. I’ve trained my children from the age of five to ask for a lawyer and then shut up if ever questioned by any agent of the state. We actually role-play this all the time. There is nothing positive that can come from your child talking to police, social workers, or other government agents, and they are not legally required to. Children have Fifth Amendment rights too.

The lawyers for the district sent a response to my child’s lawyer that sounded offended and claimed they had no obligation to honor her request. I told her to ignore them. What we have now is proof they were notified that my child has an attorney, and if they ever have her interrogated without her legal representative, it’s a slam-dunk-win lawsuit. And they were dumb enough to respond in writing that they wouldn’t honor it. I can’t tell you how much that makes me chuckle. Can you imagine that argument in front of a judge? It’s the stuff dreams are made of.

The administration took a different position than thedistrict lawyers and inserted a large red flag in my child’s account that says “contact administration before any outside agencies.” That’s a win, my friends. Mission accomplished.

part 2 of 2

This letter serves two purposes. It protects your child from warrantless seizures by government officials, and it informs the school that your child has a lawyer and her rights will be defended in court if necessary. The purpose of this initial short notice is much bigger than just informing them that your child has a right to an attorney. It reminds them that your child is an American citizen with the full rights afforded by the Constitution and her parents are the kind of people who value those rights and will fight for them using every legal means available. These parents are not pushovers. The school will know after receiving this notice that they should be careful around this child because her parents know how to fight. That’s the biggest and most important message of this letter.

It says we expect you to uphold the Constitution, and if you don’t, we will hold you accountable for it. This lays the foundation for a conversation with administrators about your student’s religious rights. It usually goes something like this: “My student is [insert religion here]. If my student is subjected to pressure to conform to ideologies or cults that she is opposed to due to her protected religious beliefs, I will view it in the same way that a Muslim parent would view a school employee forcing their child to eat bacon.” They usually understand it immediately when I put it that way.

I will then get the curriculum for any health classes and pick and choose what my student can participate in. Everyone knows right away what is and is not acceptable for my student. I have never been told no by any teacher or administrator when I’ve asked for accommodations based on religious reasons. But you must do this BEFORE school is in swing and you get surprised by inappropriate content. Know that it is there. Find it before it is taught and opt your kid out of it.

It is preferable not to ever have to file a lawsuit. And usually, the threat of a lawsuit is enough to stop any shenanigans. But if it comes down to it, be ready to follow through. Retaining a lawyer to write a letter isn’t expensive. It’s way cheaper to lay down the groundwork for a peaceful relationship with the school district through a show of serious intention and resolve than it is to play catchup later. I believe in coming in hot and later, once everyone understands one another, turning on the charm offensive. Everyone can be friends after ground rules are established.

When my mother was a high school teacher, the older teachers told her not to smile during the first week of class and establish the rules of the classroom immediately and sternly. The idea was that you could always become softer later on after the respect for the teacher was solidified. It works the same way with parents and administrators. Bullies smell fear. If your administration has any bullies in it, the only way to deal with them is head-on with the mindset that you will be their biggest regret if they ever try to bully you or your kid.

Schools have no problem sending home stacks of papers for parents to sign demanding this and that, laying out their rules, their student handbook requirements, technology use agreements, and more. But I would never send my child to any institution where I didn’t also hand them my requirements for how they are expected to behave in relation to my student and her rights. Parents who fail to do this are playing a very dangerous roulette game with people who might be wonderful or might be the most malicious troublemakers in existence. Adam Lowther of New Mexico lost his children for 11 months because of a retaliatory teacher.

Instead of heading into a school year with the administration blind to your expectations, it’s better to alert them. Establish your expectations, let them know who you are, and let them see you are serious about your boundaries and that you are involved parents who won’t be bullied or scared away easily. The best way to avoid conflict is to make it clear to school officials that any infringement of your student’s rights will cost them far more than it’s worth in legal expenses, negative media coverage, and angry board meetings. Let’s avoid all that and just be friendly and respectful of this great nation’s principles that are owed to every American — even children

(Good idea, maybe neighborhood parents can pool their money to have one lawyer represent all the children. Not all parents can afford a lawyer)

Fetterman Appoints 'Friend' of Cop-Killer Abu Jamal for Board of Pardons

Rick Moran

Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman has made criminal justice reform a big part of his campaign. As lieutenant governor, Fetterman oversees the board of pardons and called it his “bully pulpit” for criminal justice reform.

But what kind of “reform” is Fetterman looking to enact? In January, he named long-time criminal justice reform advocate Celeste Trusty to serve as secretary of the board. Trusty has repeatedly bragged about her “friendship” with Mumia Abu-Jamal, who murdered Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981. Freeing Abu-Jamal because of his “wrongful conviction” has been a radical left cause for everyone from the pope to pop stars so it’s not surprising that a radical criminal justice reform advocate would claim to be his friend.

Why is Fetterman — a potential United States Senator — allying himself with an avowed friend of a cop killer?

The Washington Free Beacon:

Fetterman has put his Board of Pardons tenure front-and-center in his campaign against Republican Mehmet Oz, braggingthat he “transformed” the lieutenant governor position by leading “the fight to free the wrongfully convicted and give second chances to deserving longtime inmates.” But Fetterman has also faced scrutiny for his board record. He voted to free numerous murderers, often over the wishes of families of victims. He was the only member of the five-person board to vote last year to pardon Wayne Covington, who was convicted of first-degree murder after killing a man to steal money to buy heroin. Covington struck a plea deal in his case in order to avoid the death penalty, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Fetterman, who has said his main reason for running for lieutenant governor was to oversee the Board of Pardons, has worked closely with Trusty over the years. Both have pushed for an end to mandatory life sentences for people convicted of second-degree murder. They took part in a “Power of a Pardon” event last year, when Trusty served on Fetterman’s campaign. Trusty worked on the campaign from March 2021 until January 2022, according to Federal Election Commission records.

In July, there was a major blowup when Fetterman claimed that Pennsylvania could release one-third of its prison population and still be safe.

Politifact claimed the charge was “mostly false” because Dr. Oz said that Fetterman wanted to release “dangerous criminals. Indeed, Fetterman said he wanted to release most felons 50 years of age or older, which would amount to about one-third of the felons currently behind bars. But since not all of them are “dangerous criminals,” Politifact decided to split hairs and call the charge “mostly false.”

Far more importantly, along with the appointment of Trusty to the pardon’s board, Fetterman’s plan is that of a radical trying to effect radical change in the criminal justice system.

And he wants to use the people of Pennsylvania as guinea pigs to test out his wacky theories.

This is not a whacky theory, it’s intentional psyop to make the public fear more, and rely on government to take care of them, or to make sure every new mandate is obeyed. Governors started this immediately when covid was announced. Its a threat to the public and was planned so that the fear of covid dug in deep so sound minded people lost their minds and submiited to the death jab!

Insanity Wrap: Antifa Thug Shoots at Old Man, Kills Antifa Thug

Stephen GreenSep 06, 2022

The Antifa gang who couldn’t shoot straight is this week’s big crazy. Welcome to Insanity Wrap, an entire week’s worth of lefty nuttiness wrapped up in one easy-to-swallow medicated news capsule.

It’s a sign of the times that the first big headline I came across after a lovely, low-key holiday weekend was one of rioting and death from one of America’s worst-run cities.

And while I’d never — almost never — celebrate the violent death of a fellow human being, as the wise man once said, “Instant karma’s gonna get you.”

It’s all the rage in Portland for armed mobs to take over the streets while police do nothing.

Last week, when lefty Antifa and Antifa-inspired bully-boys engaged in what police called “an apparent illegal street takeover event,” things got even more out of hand than usual. An elderly man trying to drive past had a thug fire as many as 18 rounds at his van.

In addition to the elderly man who appeared to be shot, two participants of the takeover were also injured by gunfire, leading to the death of 20-year-old Cameron Taylor. A $20,000 GoFundMe campaign for his funeral says he was “struck by a stray bullet.”

On Twitter, Antifa accounts have been promoting the fundraiser. Antifa in Portland have expressed support for street car takeovers as they have become more frequent following the Antifa-BLM riots in 2020. Antifa view it as one of the ways to undermine law and order, and use up police resources.

A Twitter user with the handle “burn_itdown_161” wrote: “My boys lifelong friend was killed last night at the street takeover. There’s a candlelight vigil tonight at 8 PM at the expo center by Please help get the word out and please help get candles donated and to the location at 8 if you’re able to. NO BS PLEASE RESPECT THE FAMILY.”

It’s almost shocking how few people get shot and killed, even on accident, when they aren’t brandishing firearms while taking over public streets.

While Republicans are derided by their own president as “semi-fascists,” actual black-shirted thugs are taking over Portland’s streets at will.

McConnell Remains Silent on Biden’s Speech Attacking MAGA Movement

Nick Gilbertson6 Sep 2022

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) remains silent regarding President Joe Biden’s speech that labeled “MAGA Republicans” a threat to America.

Five days after the speech, McConnell has not publicly remarked on Biden’s rhetoric. His office did not respond to several requests for comment from Breitbart News that spanned several days.

Biden gave the remarks on Thursday outside of a red-lit Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and targeted millions of “MAGA Republicans,” stating they “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the constitution,” he said. “They do not believe in the rule of law, they do not believe in the rule of law, they do not recognize the will of the people.”

“They promote authoritarian leaders and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country,” he went on to add.

The Senate minority leader’s counterpart in the House, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), spoke ahead of Biden’s speech after prepared remarks began to circulate:

When the President speaks tonight…the first lines out of his mouth should be to apologize for slandering tens of millions of Americans as fascists. President Biden wants to talk about the soul of the nation…He will declare only [Dems] hold the moral upper hand.

He, along with a myriad of other Republican politicians, candidates, and public figures, responded to Biden immediately after the speech, with many pointing out the jaw-dropping optics and rhetoric.

While McConnell has not commented on Biden’s speech, he also lagged in remarking on the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s unprecedented raid of former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, last month.

Per the Hill, he called for a “thorough and immediate explanation” of the raid on August 10, a day after refusing to comment on the August 8 search and catching heat from conservatives.

“Attorney General Garland and the Department of Justice should already have provided answers to the American people and must do so immediately,” he added.

Laura Ingraham, the host of Fox News’s Ingraham Angle, blasted McConnell’s response as “Limp & Late.”

While he waited days to speak on the matter, even disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) expressed concerns about the raid by the next morning.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/09/06/mcconnell-remains-silent-on-bidens-speech-attacking-maga-republicans/

The only reason he’s quiet is because they have figured out how to switch the votes, he hates MAGA and has big backing from China. McConnell and his buddies need to go down in a blaze of defeat. Boomerang time anons! He underestimates the patriots.

Bill Barr: Special Master Ruling ‘Wrong,’ Will Be Overturned if DOJ Appeals

Pam Key6 Sep 2022

Former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr said Tuesday on FNC’s “The Story” that a federal judge agreeing to a special master in the Trump Mar-a-Lago FBI raid saga was “wrong” and would be overturned if the Department of Justice appeals.

Barr said, “The opinion, I think, was wrong, and I think the government should appeal that. It was deeply flawed in a number of ways. I don’t think the appointment of a special master is going to hold up. Even if it does, I don’t see it fundamentally changing the trajectory. In other words, I don’t think it changes the ball game as and so much as we will have a rain delay for a couple of innings.”

He continued, “But the fundamental dramatics of the case is the same, which is the government has strong evidence of what it needs to determine whether the charges are appropriate, which is government documents were taken, classified information was taken and not handled appropriately, and they are looking into some evidence that suggests they were deceived. None of that really relates to the content of documents. It relates to what the fact there were documents there. The fact that they were classified and the fact that they were subpoenaed and never delivered. They don’t have to show the content, you know, specific advice given in a memo, for example, in order to prevail in this case. I think it is not really going to change the decision.”

MacCallum asked, “Do you think the special master will be overturned on appeal by the DOJ?”

Barr said, “I think if the DOJ appeals, eventually it will be overturned.”

Barr predictably betrays POTUS, citizens, voters and the Republic. Time for the truth to come out on the blackmail that got him. Traitors get their just rewards soon.

New UK Govt: Thérèse Coffey Appointed Health Minister in Liz Truss Cabinet

Oliver JJ Lane6 Sep 2022

Kekkity, this is getting more ridiculous!

As widely anticipated, new UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has selected her long time friend and ally Dr Thérèse Coffey to be both her heath minister and deputy Prime Minister, her first official cabinet pick of the new government.

The Right Honourable Dr Thérèse Coffey MP is the first cabinet appointment of the incoming Liz Truss government, and will take over both the health and deputy prime minister roles. That Coffey, a long time ally and friend to Truss, is the first minister to be appointed and has been appointed to health has been taken as a sign in Westminster that Truss views the state health service — which is seriously struggling after coronavirus lockdowns despite vast cash injections since — as a top priority for the coming two years.

Coffey, who is known for a love of cigars, campaigned against Brexit in the 2016 referendum, as did her new boss Liz Truss. Unlike Truss, Coffey has not made a lot of noise about having changed her view on Brexit since, although she has supported the government in delivering the Brexit the British people voted for since.

A Catholic, Coffey also has clear views against abortion that may seem unusual to many in the generally progressive-minded Westminster village. She has also voted against same sex marriage in the past.

Democrat Mark Haugen drops out of North Dakota House race, citing pressure from party

by Juliegrace Brufke September 06

Democrat Mark Haugen announced that he is dropping out of the race for North Dakota’s at-large House seat on Tuesday, stating that he was pressured by his party to suspend his campaign after former Miss America Cara Mund garnered enough petition signatures to appear on the ballot as an independent.

Mund, a Democrat, cited her support of abortion access in deciding to launch her bid as an independent, which would have teed her up in a race against Haugen, who is anti-abortion, and GOP Rep. Kelly Armstrong.

"Over the past several days, I have received pressure from many Democratic-NPL Party leaders and other activists on the far left to step away, since Cara Mund has entered the race," he said in a statement to the Bismarck Tribune. "Much of the far left’s concern is my pro-life position for which I have refused to compromise. Knowing this, without the support from the Democratic-NPL party, I don’t see a viable path forward to winning this race.”

Mund applauded the move, noting in a statement that his decision to drop out “could not have been easy.”

“His willingness to step up for his party while also staying true to himself is something I admire greatly about him,” she said. “I wish Mark the best as he continues to be a true leader in the ND Dem-NPL for years to come. As an independent, I am committed to fighting for the people of North Dakota. It’s time we finally put the people over the party."

Winning the seat is a steep climb for Democrats, with Armstrong having won his last race with 69% of the vote.

The Cook Partisan Voting Index currently ranks the seat as an R+20.

Jim Jordan leads investigation into Justice Department inspector general

by Daniel Chaitin, Deputy News Editor |

August 29, 2022 09:51 PM

| Updated Aug 30, 2022, 09:52 AM

House Judiciary Committee Republicans are opening an investigation into Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz over reports suggesting his office's involvement in examining a cellphone the FBI seized from Rep. Scott Perry's (R-PA).

A letter sent Monday by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the ranking member, said such a move by the agency's independent watchdog "creates a serious conflict of interest for the OIG in reviewing the Department’s actions." Among the demands made of Horowitz were those for relevant documents and communications, as well as explanations for a forensic examination of Perry's phone and concerns raised about the seizure. Jordan asked the inspector general to produce this material no later than 5 p.m. on Sept. 12.

Perry, chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, was served with a warrant for his cellphone by three FBI agents while traveling with his family earlier this month. The move was part of a federal investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, which started with the DOJ inspector general's office and appears to have extended to prosecutors from the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington. A lawyer for the congressman said Perry is not a target of the inquiry, according to the New York Times.

Jordan's letter cited a report by CNNthat said the search warrant "indicated" the Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General laboratory in northern Virginia was used to assist the FBI in conducting a forensic review of Perry's phone. That same report said the "inclusion of the inspector general is unusual given the office investigates wrongdoing" by Justice Department employees, but it also noted the watchdog is investigating former DOJ official Jeffrey Clark and others while scrutinizing the agency's role in efforts to block the certification of the 2020 election results.

"Reports indicate that Representative Perry's phone 'was imaged after the search,' creating a forensic copy of the device’s contents — including communications protected by common-law privileges as well as the Constitution's Speech or Debate Clause," Jordan's letter stated. "The OIG's assistance to the FBI in imaging Representative Perry's phone — in addition to posing questions about why the nation's top law-enforcement agency cannot perform this task itself — raises serious concerns about why you would be willing to sacrifice the OIG’s independence to assist the FBI in advancing such a politically charged matter."

The letter also noted that in June 2021, "the OIG initiated a review of the Department's use of subpoenas and other legal authorities to obtain communication records of Members of Congress, other individuals, and journalists. On the one hand, the OIG is reviewing whether the Department’s actions in those cases were based upon any improper considerations; however, because of your decision, the OIG appears to be directly involved with seizing and imaging the phone of a Member of Congress. The OIG is now conflicted from reviewing the basis and propriety of the FBI's controversial decision to seize Representative Perry's phone."

The Justice Department Office of the Inspector General declined to comment on Jordan's letter.

Perry told the Washington Examinerhe got his device back but criticized the seizure as a “banana republic tactic.”

“They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged, though not surprised, that the FBI, under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting member of Congress," Perry said. "My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business."

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/justice/jim-jordan-investigation-doj-inspector-general

Horowitz also hid cell phone evidence from Durham, which essentially hurt Durham’s case.
