The fascinating thing about this is, Costa Rica would give them refugee status right away through a very easy process. With their refugee card they can get a bank account, they have a work permit and social security. But someone or something is pushing them to the US……. Who might that be? And they really do effing walk. Of course not all the way, when they get money to take a bus, they do. It's $10 per person from the capital San Jose to the border with Nicaragua. About 350 km distance.
