Biden makes surprising, garbled deficit reduction claim

President Joe Biden is being mocked after he made a garbled claim that he is reducing the deficit this year by one trillion, five hundred thousand dollars, with the number being especially awkward given the vast difference between trillions and hundreds of thousands.

“You know how much, how much I’m reducivethedefcit this year? One trillion, five hundred thousand!" Biden said during a Labor Day speech in Milwaukee, Wisc. It appears the president was attempting to say he's "reducing the deficit this year."

Not only was Biden criticized for not speaking clearly, but some took note of the fact he mentioned $500,000.

"It seems weird to tack $500,000 onto $1,000,000,000,000," wrote one Twitter user. "If you weren’t impressed by the trillion…check out this additional five hundred thousand!"

"Are we just going to ignore that he translated $1.5 trillion as 'One trillion 500 thousand dollars'? $500K is a rounding error when talking trillions," another user commented.

Biden touted in May that his administration reduced the deficit by $1.5 trillion, but CNBC at the time wrote that it is largely because the government poured so much money into the economy the previous year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Five hundred thousand is 0.0000005 of one trillion, meaning that Biden clearly meant to say $1.5 trillion rather than adding on the comparatively nominal value of $500,000.

New Mexico judge removes Cowboys for Trump founder from elected office over role in Jan. 6

A New Mexico judge on Tuesday removed Cowboys for Trump founder Couy Griffin from his elected position as county commissioner over his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Griffin, who was convicted of trespassing in connection with the 2021 riot was removed as a result of a lawsuit that claimed he violated the Constitution by participating in an "insurrection." He is the first elected official to be removed from office over their involvement in Jan. 6, CNN reported.

New Mexico District Judge Francis Mathew's ruling to remove Griffin from his position as Otero County commissioner also prohibits him in the future from holding any elected position in state or federal office.

The judge wrote that with Cowboys for Trump, Griffin spent "months normalizing the violence that may be necessary to keep President Trump in office."

Griffin said he is "shocked" by the ruling and described Mathew as "tyrannical."

Thatcher aide: Liz Truss' shift to right in Britain might upstage Biden's socialist agenda

Margaret Thatcher aide Nile Gardiner talked about how the UK's new prime minister Liz Truss may upset U.S. President Biden's socialist agenda with her right-leaning politics.

I think expectations are very high for the new prime minister," Gardiner said on Tuesday's edition of "Just the News, Not Noise."

"She is a Thatcherite," Gardiner stated. "She's a strong conservative. She has vowed to to lead Britain with conservative principles and policies. So everything she said so far has been very encouraging. She has modeled herself on Margaret Thatcher."

Gardiner referred to Truss as the opposite of U.S. President Joe Biden.

"It's a very good thing to see the complete opposite of Joe Biden, who is pushing socialist style policies," Gardiner continued. "Those have been very destructive, as we've seen in many other parts of the world."

Despite Boris Johnson no longer being prime minister, Gardiner still believes that he will continue to be involved in politics.

"If it wasn't for Boris Johnson, we wouldn't have Brexit today," Gardiner credited the former prime minister. "We wouldn't be free from the shackles of the European Union. So I think we owe a great debt of gratitude to Boris Johnson for that.

"I had the privilege of meeting Boris on many occasions," Gardiner concluded. "I hosted him here in Washington. He's a very, very nice fella. He's a good man. I will miss Boris Johnson as prime minister. I'm sure he will be back in politics at some stage.

Trump's company urges SEC to wrap up merger probe

Trump Media & Technology Group is urging the Securities and Exchange Commission to wrap up its probe of the company's merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp., which plans on taking the company public.

Former President Donald Trump's media company also touted the success of Truth Social, which was launched earlier this year.

"Truth Social is continuing to grow rapidly, driven by extraordinary user engagement and the recent launch of ads on the platform," Trump Media & Technology Group told Just the News, less than a month after calling allegations of financial troubles on the social media platform "knowingly false bar talk."

The company said it will "continue cooperating with all stakeholders in connection with its planned merger, and hopes the SEC staff will expeditiously conclude its review free from political interference."

Trump media and Digital World have been issued multiple subpoenas from the Securities and Exchange Commission as part of a probe into the merger.

Seems like these sanctuary cities don’t want immigrants. Both Chicago and NY saud they would take them but when they are bussed in (illegals were asked if they wanted to go and they said yes, because its safer than where they came from). But the cities are now saying its racist and anti immigrant TX not keeping them.

As bonjino says all the time, its not hypocrisy its hierarchy, because they don’t care of the lie, cheat and steal. They have no shame.

Hunter Biden-Backed Chinese Energy Firm Posts Record Profit.

Natalie WintersSeptember 6, 2022

A Chinese Communist Party-run energy company linked to Hunter Biden, the son of the President of the United States, has made record-breaking profits for the first half of 2022, The National Pulse can reveal.

The company, officially known as China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., posted its record earnings over $6 billion amidst America’s ongoing fuel shortages, skyrocketing gas prices, and the Democratic party’s push for the use of alternative energy sources.

Also known as Sinopec, the Biden-tied firm said it’s net income rose 11 percent to $6.5 billion in the first half of this year, according to an exchange filing. Oil and gas output rose 2.9 percent while diesel production increased 7.4 percent, though ongoing COVID-19 lockdowns in China are believed to be decreasing the country’s domestic fuel demand.

While other news outlets have covered the company’s profit surge, they consistently fail to mention its financial ties to the Biden family.

Sinopec, a Chinese Communist regime-controlled oil and gas enterprise, has its “fully-owned subsidiary” Sinopec Marketing Company which enjoyed a nearly $1 billion in investment from Hunter Biden’s private equity firm BHR Partners.

Finalized in March 2015, the investments from the controversial investment fund led to BHR Partners amassing a nearly 30 percent stake in Sinopec.

BHR Partners’ LinkedIn profile explicitly highlights its Sinopec investment, emphasizing that the firm was involved “in the pilot state-owned enterprise reform deal involving the segregation and capital.”

The new deal follows Sinopec’s Fuling Shale Gas Field hitting a country-wide record for production quantity and building its largest-ever natural gas storage facility amidst the Biden White House canceling the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

It also follows an early move from the Biden White House whereby President Joe Biden rescinded an executive order from the Trump administration banning Chinese investment in or control of America’s power grid.

Hunter Biden still reportedly owns a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners, the venture which is responsible for backing Sinopec.

EXC: U.S. Senate’s Ex-Sergeant At Arms is Now Lobbying For a Chinese Communist Military Firm

Natalie WintersSeptember 1, 2022

A former U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms – one of the most security-conscious roles in the U.S. government – is now lobbying for the Chinese Communist Party-owned company Hikvision, which has ties to the regime’s military, The National Pulse can reveal.

Hikvision is a state-owned manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance equipment that has been identified by the U.S. Department of Defense as a Chinese Communist Party military proxy. The state-owned company has been accused of supplying the Chinese Communist Party with the necessary technological infrastructure to carry out a genocide of the Uyghur people in Xinjiang province.

Despite these concerning ties, Andrew “Drew” Willison, also a former Chief of Staff to ex-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, is lobbying on behalf of the company. In 2014, Willison was promoted by Reid to serve as the Senate Sergeant at Arms after a stint as the Deputy Sergeant at Arms.

As chief law enforcement officer of the Senate, the Sergeant at Arms is charged with maintaining security in the Capitol and all Senate buildings, as well as protection of the members themselves.

The Sergeant at Arms’ jobs “include escorting the president and other heads of state or official guests of the Senate who are attending official functions in the Capitol; making arrangements for funerals of senators who die in office; assisting in plans for the inauguration of the president and organizing the swearing-in and orientation programs for newly elected senators. The Sergeant at Arms leads the senators from the Senate to the House Chamber for joint sessions of Congress, to the presidential inaugural platform, or wherever the Senate may go as a body. As executive officer, the Sergeant at Arms has custody of the Senate gavel.”

When taking the job in 2014, Willison commented: “It’s a very unique place up here. We’re working in a national legislative office building, a tourist attraction and a museum all wrapped up in one. There’s always going to be a balance between security and the desire in a democracy for openness. We try to strike the right balance.”

The U.S. Senate website explains:

As chief law enforcement officer of the Senate, the Sergeant at Arms is charged with maintaining security in the Capitol and all Senate buildings, as well as protection of the members themselves. The Sergeant at Arms serves as the executive officer of the Senate for enforcement of all rules of the Committee on Rules and Administration regulating the Senate wing of the Capitol and the Senate office buildings and has responsibility for and immediate supervision of the Senate floor, Chamber, and galleries.

The Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is the largest in size of staff and budget in the Senate. It is responsible for all Senate computers and technology support services, recording and photographic services, printing and graphics services, and telecommunications services. The SAA also provides assistance to all Senate offices with their staffing, mailing, purchasing, and financial needs. The offices of the SAA that are responsible for providing these and other services include Capitol Facilities, the Operations Division, Customer Relations, Financial Operations, Human Resources, and Information Security. The SAA also shares responsibility for the U.S. Capitol Police, the Senate Page Program, the Senate Office of Training and Development, and the Capitol Telephone Exchange.

Drew Willison’s key role in protecting America’s top elected officials is also at odds with fears over the data recorded by Hikvision’s surveillance equipment ending up in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party. The company has also seen its products banned from being used or sold in the U.S. due to policies from the Trump administration that were later cemented by the Senate.

Willison appears to be lobbying on issues including “prohibitions on certain video surveillance equipment in the National Defense Authorization Act and other potential legislation,” according to his official registration, which was filed in May 15th. For roughly one month of work, Hikvision paidWillison and his firm $110,000.

He is the latest example of a federal government employee ending up on the payroll of the Chinese Communist Party, helping the regime deepen its entrenchment within the U.S. In addition to the regime weaponizing companies like Hikvision, the Chinese Communist Party also operates a vast network of influence groups targeting foreign government, media, and corporate leaders.
