I believe that the Public Schools have systemically been getting rid of anyone who votes Republican.
Go to the AFT or NEA union web pages and see how slanted to the Left they are. They don't want Conservatives to be teachers in the Public Schools.
Any organization that is run by the government, has ostracized Republicans. They just want the Republicans/Conservatives to pay exorbitant taxes to support all of their Liberal causes.
When you join the Military, you forfeit your rights as an American citizen. The Democracy that you are willing to lay down your life to protect, no longer applies to you.
You can be thrown into a Military prison for telling your commanding officer to "fuck off"
In civilian life, you would just be fired, maybe.
