Wray is probably clean, but

It only took 17 months and a 500 page report from the IG for Wray to realize there were some problems at the agency? They can all be fixed by additional training and months long internal committee reviews?

After an unlimited time for review by the OPR some employees may get a paid long weekend suspension as punishment and others may be reassigned? The names of many of the suspected bad actors have been in the news for months, so why haven't OPR reviews already been completed?

In his little echo chamber everyone the FBI works with thinks the Bureau is wonderful?

If he is trustworthy, why are agents who have worked under his leadership for nine and a half months terrified of backlash if they testify before Congress?

Was Peter's Principle the basis for his nomination?

So many questions, so little confidence in him.

IG report is a masterpiece written by an experienced investigator to report only provable facts.

Reminds me of Catherine Herridge on Fox who is very careful about living up to her reputation for thoroughness and accuracy.

My problem is with Wray responding like a disinterested numbskull. Duh, everyone is doing great work except for a few minor glitches that we will handle with some additional training and a few black marks in personnel records.

Fortunately, additional IG reports and Huber indictments will be forthcoming.
