it is a proxy dns server that runs as a service locally.

external dns for unknown requests can be easily configured.

uses its own hosts file instead of windows hosts file.

• wildcard can be used in the hosts file.

-for those who like to redirect prying urls (personal data, telemetry) to localhost.

as far as the acrylic, so far, with ample wildcard redirects, interspagetti response has improved noticeably. fun to watch ip's redirect to localhost.

not sure about master key, but it seems that metaphor/analogy has proven to be an excellent key in most cases.
