the Pubpeer Inquisition of Science is well underway, but witch hunts never end well
This is a timely clip to illustrate the problem that I see developing for the future of science. While I agree with most everything the guest says here, misidentifying and targeting the “bad apples” while completely ignoring the diseased tree that they fell from will not cure the real problem and likely only make things far worse in the end.
