Bus In China Transporting “Epidemic Related People” to COVID Quarantine Facility Crashes – At Least 27 Killed

Chinese cities have rushed back to lock downs in a show of loyalty to the Chinese Communist leaders. As part of China’s “zero-Covid” policy, the quarantine camps are in full operation.

The Independent describes the “zero-Covid” policy as,” a more aggressive approach…which involves complete control and maximum suppression for the elimination of the virus by using aggressive public health measures, such as contact-tracing, social isolation, mass testing, and lockdowns.”

“In China, under this policy, cities are directed to impose stringent lockdowns and follow strict measures of social isolation even if only a small number of cases are reported. The objective of the strategy is to ensure there are no new infections and the virus is eliminated so that the nation can resume its usual social and economic affairs.”

In July, Xi’an, a Chinese city of 13 million people and capital of Shaanxi Province locked down for seven days due to 18 Covid cases.

A bus reportedly taking 47 people to COVID-19 quarantine in southwest China crashed in the pre-dawn hours of Sunday morning, killing 27 and injuring 20 others, media said.

The bus overturned on an expressway in Guizhou province, a brief statement from the Sandu county police said, without mentioning any connection to quarantine. The injured were being treated, it said.

Chinese business news outlet Caixin said that Sandu officials confirmed that the passengers were “epidemic-related people” being taken from Guiyang, the provincial capital, to Lido county, which is about 200 kilometers (125 miles) southeast.

Guiyang reported about 180 new cases on Friday. China has maintained a strict “zero-COVID” policy that isolates infected people and close contacts to try to contain the spread of the disease.

The bus overturned about 2:40 a.m., according to an online report by an arm of the Guizhou Daily media group. Following the accident, it said that provincial leaders called for an examination into the pandemic transfer and isolation procedures.

Pelosi offers US security assistance to Russian ally

The sovereignty of Armenia is of value to America, the House speaker claims

US House Speaker Nanacy Pelosi blamed Azerbaijan for the current flareup with Armenia and offered security assistance to Yerevan, as she arrived to the Armenian capital on Sunday.

Pelosi said her trip was of prime importance in view of the “illegal and deadly attacks by Azerbaijan on Armenian territory.”

“We strongly condemn those attacks. This was initiated by the Azeris and there has to be recognition of that,” she insisted.

Border clashes erupted between Armenia and Azerbaijan on Tuesday, with both sides accusing each other of initiating the violence. Yerevan has said it lost 135 troops in the fighting, with Baku putting its death toll at 79 soldiers.

The two former Soviet republics remain at odds over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which has been controlled by ethnic Armenian forces, supported by Yerevan, since the 1990s, but is claimed by Azerbaijan as part of its territory.

The neighboring countries fought a 44-day war over Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020, which ended with a Russia-brokered truce and the ceding of some territories to Baku.

“The territorial security and sovereignty of Armenia, the democracy of Armenia is of value to us in America. In our relationships with other countries we should be using our influence, our leverage, showing that Armenian democracy and sovereignty are a priority,” Pelosi insisted.

The resolution condemning Azerbaijan’s aggressive action Armenia will be taken up in Congress soon, the third-highest-ranking US official promised.

Also on Sunday, dozens of people staged a rally in Yerevan demanding that Armenia quit the Russia-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The demonstrators chanted slogans, while carrying Armenian and US national flags.

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan earlier addressed CSTO for help amid the current crisis, with Baku offering Yerevan a truce shortly after that. The bloc sent a joint mission to Armenia, but refrained from sending military forces, prompting dissatisfaction from Armenian officials.

Pelosi’s previous visit to another global hotspot – Taiwan – provoked a major spike in tensions between the US and China last month.

"Mass Graves" Allegation Becomes Focus Of Calls For Putin To Face War Crimes Tribunal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said his country is in talks with G-7 nations to set up a war crimes tribunal which would investigate and punish Russia and its top officials and military leaders for "war crimes" committed amid the ongoing invasion, especially after some 440 "unmarked" graves were found in Kharkiv Oblast.

"This is an extremely important direction, which is important both in the context of European integration and in the context of the internal transformation of our state," Zelensky said in reference to the EU recently bestowing 'candidate status' on Ukraine.

His comments came in an address to the nation Friday, just a day after EU chief Ursula von der Leyen visited the war-ravaged country and said in an interview that she wants to see Russian President Vladimir Putin face the International Criminal Court over war crimes.

"That Putin must lose this war and must face up to his actions, that is important to me," she told German television's Bild. She expressed that there's "no doubt" Russian forces have committed war crimes throughout the now seven-month war.

According to The Hill, "Zelensky said the proposal was made during a meeting of a group working to advance Ukraine joining the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an intergovernmental association of democracies with market-based economies that work to stimulate economic growth."

Currently, the United Nations said it has dispatched a forensic team of investigators to examine what Ukraine has alleged is a "mass grave" left in the wake of Russian forces' retreat from the city of Izium in the east. Zelensky in his Friday remarks has alleged "torture chambers" used against civilians were found in the formerly Russian-occupied region. Zelensky has made the claims a focus of his latest charges against Russian troops:

"More than 10 torture chambers have already been found in various cities and towns liberated in Kharkiv region," he added, describing the discovery of electrical implements for torture.

"That’s what the Nazis did. This is what Ruscists do. And they will be held accountable in the same way – both on the battlefield and in courtrooms," he said, using the term "Ruscists" for "Russian fascists".

US secretly making plans for Guantanamo – WSJ

A senior diplomat has been appointed to oversee transfers of detainees from the prison facility, the outlet reports

The US government has quietly stepped up efforts to close the prison facility at Guantanamo Bay naval base in Cuba, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.

Despite being one of President Joe Biden’s campaign promises, the White House took a low-profile approach to the issue during his first year in office in order to avoid political controversy, sources told the outlet.

But now Washington is moving closer to shutting down the prison, which was set up in 2002 to host foreign terrorists captured abroad, according to the people familiar with the matter.

For the first time, a senior diplomat has been appointed to oversee the transfer of detainees from Guantanamo Bay, the WSJ says. The job of the special representative reportedly went to Tina Kaidanow, a former ambassador-at-large for counterterrorism.

The WSJ said it tried reaching Kaidanow for comment, but the State Department spokesman replied that she was unavailable.

The Biden administration has also been signaling that it wouldn’t interfere with plea negotiations that could resolve the lasting prosecution of alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other co-defendants, the Wall Street Journal said.

Mohammed is among the 36 detainees currently held at Guantanamo Bay. The infamous facility has hosted around 800 people, often held without charge or trial, over the past two decades. It last received a new inmate back in 2008.

The promise to close Guantanamo Bay was first made by Barack Obama, under whom Biden was vice president.

Back in December, it was reported that the US Department of Defense was moving ahead with a $4 million project to build a new courtroom at the facility.

Powerful Earthquake Shakes Taiwan, Buildings And Bridges Collapse

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake rattled much of Taiwan on Sunday, which followed a 6.4 magnitude earthquake Saturday, according to Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau (CWB).

The magnitude 6.8 quake hit around 2:44 pm local time (0644 GMT), with an epicenter in Taitung county, a town in the eastern part of the island nation. CWB said the quake was recorded at a relatively shallow depth of 7 kilometers (4 miles).

The US Geological Survey initially reported that the quake registered a 7.2 magnitude but revised it to 6.9 – still a higher reading than CWB's estimate.

Tsunami advisories were issued on Sunday after the quake struck along coastlines within a 300-kilometer (186-mile) of Taitung county. The advisories expired without any signs of high waves.

Videos posted on social media reveal buildings were destroyed, critical infrastructure such as bridges and roads were damaged, and even WaPo reported a train derailed.

An opinion piece published by the World Economic Forum lauds how “billions” of people complied with “restrictions” imposed as a result of lockdown, suggesting they would do the same under the guise of reducing carbon emissions.

The article is titled ‘My Carbon’: An approach for inclusive and sustainable cities’ and was written by Mridul Kaushik, Mission Director, Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of India.

The subject of the piece is how to convince people to adopt “personal carbon allowance programs” given that such schemes have so far been largely unsuccessful.

However, Kaushik notes that improvements in tracking and surveillance technology are helping to overcome “political resistance” against such programs.

Writing that “COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility,” Kaushik commends how, “A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world.”

Top Obama Propaganda Flunky Caught Attempting to Pay for Jan 6 TikTok Disinfo Campaign.

Using a Chinese Communist-owned company to spread false election information to American voters ahead of the midterms.

The “Good Information Foundation” – a project led by a top Obama aide – appears to have been caught offering social media influencers money to post false claims about President Donald Trump and January 6th on the Chinese Communist-owned platform TikTok. The attempted election disinformation campaign including outright falsehoods about the Trump campaign “paying millions” for the 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

A video posted to the CCP-linked TikTok by legal influencer Preston Moore reveals the foundation’s efforts to spread disinformation about the events that transpired on January 6th, in addition to the planning and aftermath.

The group behind the nefarious, CCP-linked effort is run by former Time magazine editor, Obama White House staffer, and current MSNBC contributor Rick Stengel, who is on the record praising U.S. propaganda efforts.

A representative from the Good Information Foundation reached out to Moore, who has over 80,000 followers, seeking a paid collaboration on a TikTok video about January 6th. In exchange for $400, Moore would provide a 15 to 60 second video, where he’d be required to use certain terminology when referring to Trump and the events of January 6th.

Correspondence between Moore and the foundation, as shared by Moore, shows that he would have been obligated to use phrases such as “criminal conspiracy,” “Trump Republicans,” and “MAGA Republicans.”

Avoiding words such as “attempted coup,” Moore was also urged to “make clear that this is ongoing and unresolved” as part of a broader effort to “show voter agency” and “turn the anger into defiance.”

The foundation also provided Moore, and likely other users, with talking points such as “the Trump campaign paid literally millions of dollars to make January 6th happen.”

Moore, who prefaces his video with the fact that he is not a supporter of Trump, inquired via email with the Good Information Foundation about the evidence for the aforementioned claim, which was dismissed by the group.

“Let me know if you are interested and if the rate works for you, thanks so much,” replied the foundation representative, entirely ignoring Moore’s question about the source of the claim.

It remains unclear how many users the Good Information Foundation has solicited content from, as they instructed Moore to “not use paid disclosures” on the video, attempting to make it appear more organic.

The Good Information Foundation is a project led by Rick Stengel, the chief executive of the National Constitution Center from 2004 to 2006 and President Obama’s Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs from 2014 to 2016.

“Stengel is an on-air analyst at MSNBC, a strategic advisor at Snap Inc., and a Distinguished Fellow at the Atlantic Council. His 2019 book, Information Wars: How we Lost the Battle Against Disinformation and What to Do About It, recounts his time in the State Department countering Russian disinformation and ISIS propaganda,” explains his bio on the foundation’s website.

In the past, Stengel – also a former editor of Time magazine – has openly admitted “I’m not against propaganda,” and appears to be using similar tactics to curate negative content surrounding Trump and January 6th.

Biden Issues Warning to Russia Against Using Nuclear Weapons in Ukraine

President Joe Biden warned Russia’s leadership that they should not use nuclear weapons in Ukraine and said Moscow would face unspecified consequences.

“Don’t. Don’t. Don’t,” Biden told CBS’s “60 Minutes” in an excerpt of a rare one-on-one interview Sunday. He issued that response to a question fielded by CBS reporter Scott Pelley about what he would say to Putin if he is considering using nukes during the months-long conflict.

“You will change the face of war unlike anything since World War II,” Biden said.

When asked about what the United States might do in response, Biden declined to elaborate.

“You think I would tell you if I knew exactly what it would be? Of course, I’m not gonna tell you. It’ll be consequential,” the 46th president said. “They’ll become more of a pariah in the world than they ever have been. And depending on the extent of what they do will determine what response would occur.”

Putin has said Moscow would respond more forcefully if its troops were put under further pressure, raising concerns among some western officials that he could at some point use unconventional means like small nuclear or chemical weapons. However, Putin and other top Kremlin officials have repeatedly said Russia is not considering using nuclear weapons.

“It’s brilliant. I think it has really far-reaching implications potentially, but let’s be cautious,” United Kingdom Gen. Sir Richard Shirreff told Fox News. “They’ve achieved great success. They have to maintain their success. Equally, they have to be ready for the Russians to reorganize and counter-attack.”

As it has received billions of dollars in military aid from the United States and European nations, Ukraine recently launched a major offensive to recapture territory in the south, where it hopes to trap thousands of Russian troops cut off from supplies on the west bank of the Dnipro River, and retake Kherson. Kherson is the only large Ukrainian city Russia has captured intact since the start of the war.

In an intelligence update on Twitter, Britain’s Ministry of Defence said that Russia had launched several thousand long-range missiles against Ukraine since the start of the invasion. Those strikes, the ministry has said, have struck targets including an electricity grid and a dam.

“As it faces setbacks on the front lines, Russia has likely extended the locations it is prepared to strike in an attempt to directly undermine the morale of the Ukrainian people and government,” the ministry said.

REPORT: Senator’s Husband Allegedly Mishandled School Sex Abuse Allegations

Democratic New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan’s husband, Tom Hassan, allegedly failed to appropriately handle allegations of sexual misconduct while serving in the administration at Phillips Exeter Academy (PEA), a prestigious boarding and day school in Exeter, New Hampshire.

An independent investigation by the Holland & Knight law firm found that during Hassan’s tenure as assistant principal between 2001-2008, and as principal from 2008-2014, he and the other leaders were “ineffective” and “incomplete” in their response to complaints of inappropriate behavior by staff at PEA, according to the Fox News.

The report was published in August 2018, noting that PEA’s leadership failed to set up any type of effective protocol for students, faculty, and other employees to file complaints, Fox continued. “Reflective of this absence of protocol was that some individuals who experienced different forms of sexual misconduct at various points were not able to seek assistance or, when they sought assistance, were not treated consistently or fairly,” the report stated, according to the outlet.

In one example, a history professor, Richard Schubart, admitted to having a sexual relationship with one of his students in 2011, and while Hassan forced him to resign, the professor was allowed to attend school events and participate in student life, Fox noted. Schubart is one of six former PEA staff members to have been investigated by Holland & Knight over accusations of sexual misconduct, according to Foster’s Daily Democrat.

After the allegations and investigation, Schubart was then appointed to leadership committees on Sen. Hassan’s 2012 gubernatorial campaign, Fox reported. Hassan is currently fighting against Republican candidate Don Bolduc to keep her seat in the upcoming November midterm elections, the outlet continued.

“Senator Hassan’s opponents tried to use the same misleading attacks on her family in 2016,” Hassan’s campaign spokesperson Kevin Donohoe told Fox News Digital.”Six years later, they’re trying to bring back these desperate attacks to distract from Don Bolduc’s extremism.”

Hassan stepped down as principal of PEA in 2015 and apologized for not going public with the allegations against Schubart, Politico reported. He said that he and other school officials were attempting to protect the privacy of the former students, adding that “it’s clear in retrospect that we didn’t get that balance right,” the outlet noted.

Venezuela Empties Prisons, Sends Violent Criminals to U.S. Border, Says DHS Report

A recent Department of Homeland Security intelligence report received by the Border Patrol instructs agents to look for Venezuelan inmates released from entering the U.S., according to a source within CBP. The report, reviewed by Breitbart Texas, indicates the Venezuelan government, under the leadership of Nicolás Maduro Moros, is purposely freeing inmates — including some convicted of murder, rape, and extortion.

The intelligence report warns agents the freed prisoners have been seen within migrant caravans traveling from Tapachula, Mexico toward the U.S.-Mexico border as recently as July. The source, not authorized to speak to the media, told Breitbart Texas the move is reminiscent of a similar action taken by Cuban dictator Fidel Castro during the Mariel boat lift in the 1980s.

The report does not state whether the released prison inmates were traveling as a cohesive group but does state it was commonly shared knowledge among migrants traveling to the United States within a caravan in July that many of the Venezuelan migrants in the group were convicts and included hardened criminals.

The report does not specify that the release of the convicts — understanding they would head to the United States — could be a purposeful geopolitical move specifically intended to impact U.S. national security. Another information gap cited in the report acknowledges the unknown role the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), Venezuela’s equivalent to the CIA, may have played in the deliberate releases.

The source says the task of identifying Venezuelans who have criminal records in their home country is nearly impossible. Of the thousands of Venezuelan migrants surrendering along the U.S.-Mexico border daily, most, according to the source, are being released into the United States. Without effective diplomatic relations with Venezuela, the source says access to criminal databases in that country simply does not exist.

“Unless we apprehend someone who voluntarily tells us they have committed a violent crime in Venezuela, we can only guess and that doesn’t work well,” the source told Breitbart. “They will more than likely be released.”

The source says it is unknown how many have already been released into the interior of the United States to pursue asylum.

Safeguarding Defenders released a report this week detailing the scale of the long arm of Communist China’s overseas policing operations, which the human rights organisation notes are likely violating both international law and the territorial integrity of other countries by “setting up a parallel policing mechanism using illegal methods” within their borders.

According to the report, CCP apparatchiks have established some 54 overseas police “service stations” across five continents, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.

While the so-called “110 overseas service stations” — a reference to the emergency phone number in China — were supposedly established to help overseas Chinese people with legal paperwork such as extending their driver’s licence, the Safeguarding Defenders report found evidence that pointed to more nefarious operations being carried out by the offices.

TikTok influencer and attorney Preston Moore claimed in one of his videos that he was asked $400 to spread false information about President Trump related to the January 6 investigation.

“I was just offered $400 to make an anti-Donald Trump propaganda post related to the January 6 investigation that is completely not true,” Preston revealed on his TikTok Friday. “I should start out this video by saying I’m not a Donald Trump supporter. So that should give a little bit of context to where I’m coming from.”

Preston is an attorney in the firm’s Personal Injury and Products Liability Section. He works on cases involving serious injuries and bad products. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School and is currently working in Beasley Allen’s Atlanta office.

“So, first things first, I get an email from somebody with the Good Info Foundation. I’m going to refer to this person as Jane. Jane sent me a message letting me know she represented the Good Info Foundation and that she was willing to offer a paid collaboration to discuss some topics related to January 6. I said, sure, why not? I’ll learn some more. Jane says the Good Info Foundation will give me $400 to make a post on my page and then share it on Instagram,” Preston narrated.

The Good Information Foundation is headed by Rick Stengel, President Obama’s Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs from 2014 to 2016.

“The January 6th Committee investigation has proven an ongoing criminal conspiracy to overthrow our elections and take away our freedoms,” according to Good Info Foundation.

“MAGA Republicans have known all along that Trump betrayed the American people and they have selfishly and cowardly sided with him over freedom. They want to make this a country where men control women, armed white militants control us all, and a handful of wealthy white politicians control our lives and our futures.”

In order to obtain that $400, Preston should refer to the January 6 incident based on the “Important Notes” set by the Good Info Foundation.

IP addresses in China, Russia, Iran, Cuba among recipients of US COVID-19 small business loan funds

The Small Business Administration disbursed over 41,000 Economic Injury Disaster Loans worth $1.3B to foreign IP addresses, according to IG report.

The Golden Horseshoe is a weekly designation from Just The News intended to highlight egregious examples of wasteful taxpayer spending by the government. The award is named for the horseshoe-shaped toilet seats for military airplanes that cost the Pentagon a whopping $640 each back in the 1980s.

This week's Golden Horseshoe is awarded to the Small Business Administration for disbursing millions of taxpayer dollars in COVID-19 loans intended to keep American businesses afloat to foreign IP addresses in China, Russia and countries designated state sponsors of terror by the State Department, according to a newly released inspector general report.

Inspector General Hannibal "Mike" Ware found the SBA received millions of applications from foreign IP addresses for COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and while it stopped most of them, tens of thousands of loans were disbursed.

The EIDLs were intended to provide relief to U.S. small businesses that suffered economic hardship as a result of the pandemic.

"Although the agency implemented several layers of controls to prevent or reduce fraud from foreign countries, individuals at foreign IP addresses were able to access the COVID-19 EIDL application system," the OIG reported in a summary.

"The agency processed more than 233,000 of these applications from March 20, 2020 to November 12, 2021, our review period," according to the report. "Of this amount, SBA approved and disbursed 41,638 COVID-19 EIDLs, advances, and grants for $1.3 billion."

Foreign IP addresses in Iran, Syria and Cuba — which are designated state sponsors of terrorism by the State Department — received tens of thousands from the SBA. Iran received nearly $166K, Syria received $23,500, and Cuba got $276K.

"The numerous applications submitted from foreign IP addresses are an indication of potential fraud that may involve international criminal organizations," the report explains. "OIG has ongoing investigations into international organized crime operations that applied for and stole pandemic relief funds. SBA officials were aware of and concerned about the potential fraud from overseas.

The SBA disbursed the billions in funds despite four layers of controls the agency and its contractor established. The applications from the foreign IP addresses were missed by the first two layers of controls, and "the third and fourth layers of controls were designed to flag any applications missed by the first two layers and ensure SBA loan officers reviewed them."

"The $1.3 billion identified by the OIG that originated from applications submitted from a foreign IP address represents less than .04 percent of the more than $342 billion approved by SBA for COVID EIDL advances and loans," Patrick Kelley, SBA associate administrator of the Office of Capital Access, wrote to Ware.

"It is important to remember that the COVID-19 Pandemic posed a national health and economic crisis of historic proportions equivalent to very few events in our country's history," wrote the administrator. "As a result, the initial focus of SBA's COVID relief programs had to be on providing financial assistance as quickly as possible to respond to the crisis."

Ware made two recommendations to the SBA. Partially concurring with one and agreeing with the other one, the agency indicated it would be examining its controls related to foreign IP addresses and "ensure these controls are more effective in future disaster processing systems."

10,000 Israelis to make Uman pilgrimage despite Ukraine-Russia war

Over 2,000 Israelis are already in Uman as of Sunday, despite severe warnings from both Israeli and Ukrainian officials.

Forgoing several warnings from Israeli and Ukrainian officials, some 7,000 to 10,000 Israelis are expected to fly out to Ukraine this week to take part in the annual High Holidays pilgrimage to Uman, KAN News reported Sunday evening.

Over 2,000 Israelis are already in Uman as of Sunday, the report additionally noted.

Israeli sources told KAN News that the situation in Uman "currently poses a real threat to the lives" of the Jewish pilgrims. Earlier in September, the Foreign Ministry stated that all Israelis should refrain from traveling to Uman this year.

"The explosive security situation includes the danger of bombing from the air or firing rockets at civilian areas, including in the center and west of the country, which pose a real and immediate danger to life," said the ministry statement, which urged Israelis in Ukraine to leave the country immediately.

Ukraine had previously said it will not be able to ensure the safety of the pilgrims due to Russia's ongoing invasion of the eastern European country.

"Rosh Hashanah is coming, and no matter what we say, Orthodox Jews will try to get to Uman again," Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk said last month. "We understand your willingness to go to Uman and favor your support for Ukraine, but this is not the right time."

"We cannot guarantee your safety."

Korniychuk also took the opportunity to call on the Israeli government to intervene along with Ukraine to "prevent the massive killing of people that could happen."

Every year, Tens of thousands of Israelis travel to Uman to pray on Rosh Hashanah at the gravesite of rebbe Nachman of Breslov. Last year, more than 30,000 Breslov Hassidim went to Uman – mostly from Israel but also from the US, the UK and France.

IDF chief Kohavi lands in Poland, begins five-day visit to Europe

The IDF chief is expected to meet with his Polish counterpart, Gen. Rajmund T. Andrzejczak, before traveling to France.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi landed in Poland on Sunday evening, beginning a five-day visit to Europe, which includes an official visit to France.

In Poland, the IDF chief is expected to meet with his Polish counterpart, Gen. Rajmund T. Andrzejczak.

He is also set to meet other senior military figures in Warsaw to discuss Iran, the dwindling nuclear deal negotiations and increasing tensions along Israel's northern border with Lebanon.

Where will Kohavi visit in Poland?

Kohavi will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp along with an IDF delegation, which will also tour the Jewish cemetery and the Jewish Museum and will lay a wreath at the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

He will be accompanied by his wife, Yael Kochavi, as well as Head of the International Cooperation Division Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin, the head of Military Intelligence’s Research Division, Brig.-Gen. Amit Sa'ar, and IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Ron Kochav.

Two Planes Down Over Colorado After Mid-Air Collision

Two planes collided with one another on Saturday morning.

All three passengers on board the two planes were killed.

According to KDVR, the accident occurred in Boulder County, Colorado, and was witnessed by a man at the scene.

That man, Sean Tufts, promptly called 911.

“It looked like it was in trouble, cause planes don’t go straight down,” Tufts told KDVR.

“There was no fireball, nothing. It just crumpled.”

A Boulder County local, Cary Hayes, watched the planes crash, too. According to KDVR, the crash occurred near Hayes’s home.

“It’s scary. It’s super scary. It happened right across the street from my house,” Hayes told KDVR.

As it turns out, local flights take place quite often in Boulder County. Tufts said, “These skies are full all day with single-seater planes,” according to KDVR.

Three people were killed when the two planes, a Cessna 172 occupied by two people and a Sonex Xenos piloted by one person, crashed into each other.

A flight lesson was taking place on the Cessna. One individual was serving as a flight instructor while the other was a flight student.

The National Transportation Safety Board described in detail how exactly the collision took place, according to KDVR.

“Tracking data showed the two pilots flying the Cessna aircraft departed on a training flight from the Rocky Mountain Airport at 8:43 a.m. The pilot in the Sonex aircraft departed from the Platte Valley Airpark in Hudson at 8:38 a.m,” KDVR reported.

“During its flight, the Cessna made a 360-degree left turn and then a right turn to the east. According to NTSB, at that moment the two aircraft’s flight tracks merged, and both descended rapidly in a rural area.”

The collision occurred despite the fact that the weather conditions were good.

KDVR further noted that neither aircraft had any sort of “collision avoidance system.” In addition, neither pilot was in contact with air traffic control, although, as reported by KDVR, there is no requirement for pilots in the area to do so.
