A twitter firestorm of fury flared after Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican Party, posted a tweet that many took as a threat aimed at those who don't support President Donald Trump.

'Complacency is our enemy. Anyone that does not embrace the @realDonaldTrump agenda of making America great again will be making a mistake,' she wrote Wednesday evening.

'Go f*** yourself,' was one of the many colorful replies by twitter users, who compared her tweet to Soviet gulags and the Nazi regime.
