911 call centers are down across California

911 call centers are down across California Monday cutting off key communication for emergency responders.

The phone outage was reported around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

This interruption is affecting law enforcement dispatch centers throughout the entire date.

If you need help, you can text 911.

The state is aware of the problem, and so is AT&T. There is no estimate for when service will be restored.
