The thing you really have to watch out for is the Judas Goats.
They make it a sport to infiltrate groups and steer them a different direction or dissolve them sometimes whilst exploiting them also (donations, youtube, paytriots).
I used to go to a few different protests back in the day where we held signs and passed out information. I ran into a few of our members who later I found out just joined so they could usurp the group and dissolve it.
