Imagine if the U.S. announced it was going to send a special task force composed of about two marine divisions and a riverine detachment to Hong Kong to secure its independence from the Chinese Communist Party.
Then, after China's military spends six months attacking the area, they take a few rural plots and a rail terminal, while claiming they are winning and America can't fight a war.
That is a rough aproximation. Russia is only now beginning to call for a more general military mobilization after the U.S. has depleted most of its munitions stores to give to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Germany has chewed through 10% of gas reserves since Russia completely shut off the gas, which has them immitating ye late adolf circa 1938.
The only way Europe survives as an industrial power is to give up on driving Russia off the mineral wealth of Eurasia… or can manage to invade Russia and force the gas back on.
Thus far, European leadership would see Europe smacked back to the medieval period.
Which… I would find rather amusing, but I have also kind of given up my humanity and am fully embracing the "stupid should hurt" philosophy. Most of humanity has lost any grounding in reality or practicality and needs either the prodding to snap them back to it or to eliminate them from further participation.
Also… the captcha system seems random and broken to me… I get five captcha that I enter and it fails. Then randomly, one will pass even though I'm interpreting the letters the same. I kind of wonder if it is my browser or something. Not sure how it sets up what renders and determines what I should be entering. Beep boop, I guess.
