#OTD in 1997, a computer glitch caused USS Yorktown (CG-48) to be dead in the water for almost three hours. The Yorktown had recently been upgraded through the Navy's "Smart Ship Program", but the propulsion system failed because the computers crashed after trying to divide by 0.
