Radical Anti-American Groups that Sued Ron DeSantis Received $1.4 Million from Soros’ Open Society Network

On Tuesday three migrants who were part of a small group that was flown from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard last week by the state of Florida sued Gov. Ron DeSantis and other Florida state officials. The migrants alleged they were duped into traveling to the posh island in the northeast as part of a scheme to benefit the governor’s political career.

The local leftists on Martha’s Vineyard deported the illegal aliens after 40 hours – less time than the siege on the CIA compound in Benghazi on 9-11, 2012.

According to the The Miami Herald — The suit, filed in federal court in Massachusetts, alleges that DeSantis, Florida’s Transportation Department secretary and others tricked migrants into leaving Texas by offering them McDonald’s gift cards and other items to board the flights, and by promising them assistance and employment. The plaintiffs include three anonymous Venezuelan migrants and Alianza Americas, a transnational organization that advocates on behalf of immigrants rights.

Governor DeSantis’s office later responded to the harassment and produced signed consent forms by the illegal migrants.

On Wednesday FOX News reported that the far left groups behind the lawsuit are Soros-funded.

Attorney Mike Davis called on Republicans to finally investigate Soros and his anti-American antics when they return to power.

FOX News reported:

The activist group at the center of a class-action lawsuit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and other Florida officials for migrant flights to Martha’s Vineyard has received nearly $1.4 million from George Soros’ Open Society network.

Lawyers for Civil Rights, a nonprofit immigrant advocacy group, filed the lawsuit on behalf of Alianza Americas, according to a press release Tuesday that described the latter group as “a network of migrant-led organizations supporting immigrants across the United States.”

Alianza Americas has received a total of $1,383,947 from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations between 2016 and 2020, according to grants.

The grants came from three of his nonprofits: Open Society Institute, Open Society Policy Center and Foundation to Promote Open Society.

The grants were to support policy advocacy on immigration, a Global Compact for Migration initiative and to strengthen the group’s international work in Central America and Mexico.

The law firm filing the suit, Lawyers for Civil Rights, received $50,000 from the Borealis Philanthropy in 2019, tax forms show. Borealis is a left-wing donor-advised fund that acts as an intermediary steering Democratic money to organizations.

Alleged Murderer of Cayler Ellingson Released on Bail

Shannon Brandt, the 41-year-old accused of murdering 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson for being a supposed “Republican extremist,” was freed Tuesday from the Stutsman County jail in North Dakota, Breitbart News has confirmed.

An official at the jail told Breitabrt News that Brandt had posted a $50,000 bond and was released.

As Breitbart News reported earlier, citing local news, Brandt told local police that he had run Ellingson over with his car.

Valley News Live reported:

Court documents say at 2:35 Sunday morning, 41-year-old Shannon Brandt called 911 to report that he had hit a pedestrian because he was threatening him. Brandt told State Radio that the pedestrian was part of a Republican extremist group and that he was afraid they were “coming to get him.” The pedestrian has been identified in a GoFundMe page as 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson.

After visiting the scene where the incident happened, deputies went to Brandt’s house in Glenfield, ND, which is about 12 minutes from the crash scene. Brandt admitted to consuming alcohol before the incident, and stated he hit Ellingson with his car because he had a political argument with him. Brandt also admitted to deputies that he initially left the crash scene, then returned to call 911, but left again before deputies could arrive.

Court documents say just before the crash, Ellingson called his mom and asked if they knew who Brandt was. She said yes, and told her son she was on her way to pick him up. A short time later, court documents say Ellingson called his mom again to say that “he” or “they” were chasing him. It was after the second call that Ellingson could not be reached again.

Brandt was charged “with criminal vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash involving a death,” Fox News reported.

The killing occurred just days after President Joe Biden held a “unity” summit aimed at rallying Americans to fight so-called “MAGA Republicans,” whom Biden called a “threat” to the country in a speech earlier this month.

Two severely decomposed bodies were found in the home of a former Rhode Island mayor Susan Menard on Monday.

According to reports, a neighbor called the police to conduct a welfare check saying he hadn’t seen the elderly couple in a week.

The neighbor also told police there was a strong odor coming from the Woonsocket home.

Officers discovered the deceased elderly couple upon entering the home.

It turns out that one of the severely decomposing bodies found in former Rhode Island mayor’s home was former Woonsocket mayor Susan Menard.

Police say there were no signs of foul play.

WJAR reported:

The Rhode Island state medical examiner confirmed Wednesday that one of the bodies found in the home of former Mayor Susan Menard was hers.

Candles, flowers and stuffed animals were left on the front steps of the house as word of Menard’s death spread.

City leaders said they were shocked and devastated.

“She was a tenacious woman. She fought for the community. She served on the School Committee then the City Council,” said incumbent Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt.

Menard went on to become Woonsocket’s first female mayor in 1995, and the second woman to serve as mayor in the state.

“She was a champion for women,” said John Dionne, a friend and former co-worker.
