I don't know much about the Catholics. Personally I don't like how Christians took their tradition holding onto the crucifix as it is a device of torture and death, and their sermons are depressing and you don't feel energized constantly seeing imagery of a defeated Jesus on the cross. Jesus rose and is beyond the cross. So all denominations of Catholicism is muh bad?
Ty for your knowledge and time. I see my body as God's temple and try my best not to desecrate it. Many Christians won't agree with me but I disdain the cross and the imagery of Christ they choose to use. Jesus was flesh like us and God worked through him like he can with any one of us. I worship God, not Christ, although I credit the name of Jesus at the end of my prayers because he was the first religious figure to die for humanity instead of wage war.
