GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis got a huge campaign boost this week in his reelection bid from an unlikely source.

Palm Beach County Commissioner David Kerner, a Democrat who used to serve as mayor of the county, the third-largest blue enclave in Florida, announced this week he will campaign daily until Election Day on behalf of DeSantis, who is running for a second term.

“Every day until November 8, I will campaign for Governor DeSantis and on November 8, I will vote for Governor DeSantis. And today, I proudly endorse Governor Ron DeSantis for re-election as the Governor of the great state of Florida,” Kerner said Wednesday.

“As an aside, Governor, I am very proud that you felt that my endorsement was worthy of acceptance. And I’m so delighted that we’ve had this opportunity to be here in public with the community to make it official,” he added at a press conference.

“This was not a difficult choice for me. This was not the proverbial lesser of two evils. Governor DeSantis has demonstrated himself beyond worthy of the humbling duties of this office,” Kerner continued.

“And he has done so with the level of dignity, purpose, and respect that is lost in the public sphere today. It may come as a shock to many of you, or at least many of my friends that as a Democratic elected officer in deep blue Palm Beach County, I’m endorsing a Republican governor,” he said.

“But I will not remain silent. There is too much on the line in this election. The governor’s Democratic opponent has already started talking about reallocation, which to me, by the way, is a code word for taking resources away from the men and women that protect us. It’s a code word for defunding the police,” Kerner continued.

-HAHAHA!

Leading up to the 2020 Presidential election, Facebook/Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg infused nearly half a billion dollars in to groups that attempted to influence the 2020 election.

The grants were allegedly used to help election administrators deal with the infrastructure challenges of running an election during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Center for Renewing America (CRA) filed legal complaints against Zuckerberg and his wife for using the grants to tip the scales in favor of President Biden.

A previous complaint against Zuckerberg filed with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) was dismissed earlier this year

The Center for Renewing America alleges that most of the grant money went to election administrators in swing states in Democratic jurisdictions. Zuckerberg hired a former Obama campaign manager to distribute the grants.

Facebook is Considering Lifting Their Ban of Donald Trump in 2023

Meta is considering the removal of its ban on President Donald J. Trump from participating on their massive social media platform, Facebook, in Jan. 2023.

Nick Clegg, President of Global Affairs for Meta, said during an appearance at the Semafor Exchange in Washington D.C. that they are strongly considering a reinstatement of Trump on their platform.

However, Clegg mentioned that Meta would talk to certain “experts” about weighing the harm potential of such a reinstatement before deciding whether or not to actually through with it. No doubt there will be Soros-funded “experts” from groups like the Anti-Defamation League lobbying Facebook to keep their Orwellian restrictions in place throughout the process.

“When you make a decision that affects the public realm, you need to act with great caution,” Clegg said while speaking with Semafor editor-at-large Steve Clemons. “You shouldn’t throw your weight about.”

“If we think there is is content on our platform which will lead to real-world harm — physical harm — then we feel we have a clear responsibility to act against it,” Clegg added.
