Linux gives you a lot of options with good command shells. Been decades since I was a linuxfag but I know techniques that I would consider.
You could run keywords through commands that can search filenames and image types
You can pipe results into image converters or image viewers
You could copy images to a paste folder and rename them
And you could probably get those things down to quick keystrokes. Not a lot of tech involved here either. If you have images tagged by keywords in a spreadsheet or text file you could grep through that file
All of this assumes that you have them indexed in some way, by directory, filename, or other tagging system though.
