Anon watched this vidya about the Fall of trhe Nabbateans last night. They were peaceful and chose the desert because it was undesirable to the Warlords. Then they got rich from the spice/incense/frankincense and myrrh trade. Everybody and their brother wanted their stuff, especially the "offerings"

The "savory smells", they all do veneration remarkably the same.

Anon, sounds like you've never been to the Mercado in Reynosa. Flies were thick, the smell of dead hung in the air and the line of people buying that meat was long. Anon was a kid but remembers that day like it was yesterday. ++Imagine the smell__ It's like a giant flea market but full service, a one stop shop with OTC Rx (eye opening) booze and cheap cigarettes for th touristas and day trippers.

We considered eating at a nearby restaurant, authenic and shit. Anon passed on eating there, not a chance, not worth the risk. Already been told to not drink the water..
