If I double a meme, I might rename so it'll have a better chance coming up on a search. several names could be appropriate for any one meme, often.

some meme archives that have everything named will come up with a Recoll search.

messed up on explaining this.

I started saving things by whatever day I'm on.

new folder each day that I'm working

name of folder is number of th day

day number is just month and day

some numbers have two days of the year

117 is Jan seventeenth and Nov. 7

i don't care.

then a Palatte is the memes I'll work from first, on a particular day.

this is good because this method will surface things from the past.

a lot of what we've done has to be re-surfaced and looked at again, more, be added to , etc.

RECOLL INDEX program is a must.

it's written for Linux. but there's a win version out there.

if I'm hunting a meme I have in mind , this index can often lead me to it,

and give me result s I've forgotten about.

I name them when I save them

I might characterize something the same way even years later, and that helps to find things.

naming can just be fast instinctive creative. how I do it

I noticed the memefags in the past were very precise in their naming, even putting spacing in the file name! that's cool but it's too much work for me, and I'm unsure it improves things much.

If I find something good, say I'm looking

in some folder for some random day.

In that folder will be related, because it was laid down on the same day.

anyone can start this method immediately , doesn't matter, you can use it right away.
