I wish the abortion debate would just fucking depolarize.
1) Teach kids about procreation and conception in it's basic biological facts form.
2) Educate children about contraceptive options early. ONLY contraceptive options, not lifestyles, techniques or promotion of perversions.
3) Make contraceptives available and guilt free.
4) Make morning after pills easily available.
5) Do not restrict availability of abortions, just make abortions largely unnecessary.
The hijacking of this issue by religious dogmatics, those with the hidden agenda for use of aborted 'tissues' and perverts trying to normalize their personal mental illness is what makes it so divisive.
Abortion should be both freely available and extremely rare.
And that's the exact attitude that we need to fix.
