One strategy would be to form a group
family, neighbors, church
and assign certain essential necessities to an inner group
one inner group finds a clean water emergency source
one group has a nurse or doctor in it
to strategize those possible needs
then small groups resource meat,veggies, fuel
establish minimum requirements for each person
join families together and shut down one house
(plumbing, heat, etc turned off)
rotate during the winter perhaps
to dry out the houses being shut off
learn to bathe with one gallon of water, if necessary
(use washcloth to soap down, then rinse off)
heat only the water you use
heat only the rooms you use
cook food by group
figure out stews and soups that feed groups
sign agreements perhaps for duties
and follow up on the strategies
survival mode need not be totally awful
