There is a whole heck of alot to unpack in the Utah Ritual Sexual Abuse investigation/prosecution going on. Thank you ConcreteConspiracy, contributor to We Love Trump: https://welovetrump.com/2022/09/28/david-hamblin-is-the-first-arrested-in-the-utah-county-ritualistic-case/ for your consistent contributions and loving coverage of this, oh so delicate case.

I read through all of the witness statements, found here: https://healthyfamilies.life/2022/06/13/no-more-secrets/ Well, admittedly, I was emotionally exhausted by about the 6th or 7th statement and could read no further, but today I decided to follow up and do some research into those who were named.

David Hamblin was the accusers father: Provo man arrested on multiple rape charges

By Paige Fieldsted - Daily Herald - | Dec 22, 2012

PROVO — A Provo man was arrested earlier this week on several rape charges stemming from incidents in the 1990s. David Hamblin is being charged with 12 counts of rape of a child, three counts of sodomy of a child, one count of attempted sodomy of a child, all first-degree felonies, and two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a second-degree felony.

The charges are based on events that reportedly happened between 1991 and 1998. In Utah there is no statute of limitations for child sex crimes, meaning they can be prosecuted regardless of how much time has passed since the crime was reportedly committed.

Then there is CURRENT Utah County Attorney David Leavitt, who reorganized and redesigned the prosecutors office to accommodate predators. See "Declaration of No Confidence in Utah County Attorney David Leavitt" submitted by "six former prosecutors from that office" citing "The disbanding of the office’s Special Victim Unit (which was staffed by experienced attorneys specifically trained to prosecute adult and child sexual offenses), leaving the prosecution of many of these cases to less-experienced attorneys who lack trial experience in these types of serious offenses" as one of the reasons for their submission of no confidence.

The third name I looked into, Gordon Bowen AKA "The Punisher".

In victim's statement 2, she recalls going to Bowen's mansion in Salt Lake City and being brutalized in bedrooms and his 'work rooms'. She describes playing the harp for guests from a balcony overlooking the guests, the only picture I could find that might be the area she was describing is pic 4.

There are many names to be investigated, even these people already looked at. Have at it anons.

Provo man arrested in 'ritualistic child sex abuse' investigation

By Pat Reavy, KSL.com | Updated - Sept. 28, 2022 at 6:13 p.m. | Posted - Sept. 28, 2022 at 12:24 p.m.

A Provo man who faced multiple charges of child sex abuse a decade ago that were later dismissed was arrested again Wednesday "in relation to an investigation involving ritualistic child sexual abuse."

That's according to the Utah County Sheriff's Office, which booked David Lee Hamblin, 68, into the Utah County Jail for investigation of three counts of sodomy on a child, rape of a child, two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and lewdness involving a child.

A victim came forward in April and told investigators that Hamblin started sexually assaulting her in the mid-1980s when she was 6 or 7 and her family lived in the same Provo neighborhood as Hamblin. She said she would go to his house where she and other children were babysat by him, according to a police booking affidavit.

The sheriff's office has requested that Hamblin be held without bail in the Utah County Jail pending the filing of formal charges, noting in their affidavit that "there are ongoing investigations regarding other victims with David as a perpetrator."

"David Hamblin was a licensed therapist whose license was revoked by the state of Utah due to allegations that he was sexually abusing his client(s). Through this investigation, it has been reported that David continues to perform 'therapy' under the guise of 'healing circles' and upon information and belief, the abuse may be ongoing. David Hamblin is a threat to the children and citizens of Utah County," the arrest report states.

In 2012, Hamblin was charged in 4th District Court with 18 first-degree felonies, including sodomy on a child, multiple counts of rape of a child, and aggravated sexual abuse of a child. The case was dismissed without prejudice in 2014. Dismissing a case "without prejudice" means a prosecutor has the option of refiling charges if new evidence arises.

"While the charges were previously dismissed without prejudice, the state has received information that (Hamblin) is the subject of a current criminal investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies into the same conduct related to the 1999 arrest on this case. Expunging the records in question would hamper the current investigation and not serve the interests of justice," the court filing states.

On Aug. 16, a judge denied Hamblin's petition for expungement.
