Did it bother anyone else how wrong they were on their hurricane path forecast? Floridians are used to hurricanes and only evacuate if they are worried about being in the direct path (and at a low elevation). Most houses are built to hurricane standards and have storm shutters etc. The forecast was for Tampa (maximum damage) right up until it came ashore way south of there. Did they ever update the landfall prediction? Will admit I wasn't watching 24/7 but don't remember them ever updating the path to where it ended up. Anyone?
