Adam Aron (AMC CEO) locked in enough popcorn under contract to supply his theaters AND his new retail side hustle (microwave popcorn, not yet on shelves) for the next THREE years. (That’s grains not going overseas that can be used otherwise in an emergency, folks. Ethanol/Cooking oil, if we must. Popcorn ain’t a necessity.)
btw … This past week was anniversary of 2008/“The Big Short”. October is new fiscal year. I wonder what the next 2 hrs will bring.
SO … anyway … Election = >80% RED / Stock Event (Market RED, AMC/meme stocks GREEN) occurring at same time toward the end of October so that it all spills over to Election Day?
PLUS, we have nuke scare to contend with.
