A few months ago Pluto passed over it's location at the birth of the US: our first "Pluto return". However, it was retrograde, moving backwards, at the time the event was being pointed out. When retrograde, the energy of the planets are internalizing as we incorporate the external events that happened while the planet was moving forward.
On Thursday, October 8th, Pluto stops and begins to move forward again, bringing it's energy out into the open.
Interestingly enough, the Pluto is in the US's 2nd house, whose traditional name is the House of Money.
Pluto governs transformation, the ending of the old heralding the beginning of the new.
