Revelation is prophecy. It's happening now, not already happened.
The bible is not the word, the bible is an incomplete collection of scripture. Jesus is the Living Word, the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.

When Jesus was saying what must happen to Him, Simon began to rebuke Him and said "This shall never happen to you" because He thought Jesus was too good, not because he wasn't obeying.
Jesus rebuked him saying "Get thee behind me Satan, you are a stumbling block to me!"

The KJV is also missing some. The bible is not complete. We know this for a fact because in the bible Jesus references scripture that's not in the bible, but is in the book of Enoch.
Never use only one translation, even the KJV. It is NOT the "authorized" version.

The creation of heaven and earth in genesis is not the creation of the planet. You're not looking past the words to see the Word. Seeing but not perceiving. Jesus spoke in parables and said "If you do not understand this parable how will you understand any of the parables?" because it's in parables.
The planet was not formed before literal light. It's the story of the creation of the "above" and "below".
The FIRMAMENT separates the "waters above" from the "waters below". Revelation 17:15 tells us the waters, where the PROSTITUTE sits, stands for people, multitudes, nations, and languages. It also tells us as it was in the days of Noah, so it is at the coming of the Son of Man.

Yes the Word of God is Jesus, but scripture is not the Word of God. It's inspired by God, but it itself is not the Word. Look past the words and see the Word.
Jesus told you all these things are done in parable, so some although ever seeing never perceive. Remember the seals? Scripture is sealed up and no one is found who is worthy unseal it. Then the lamb appears who is worthy to unseal it because He was slain, and He is in us and we are in Him.
