It appears to me that your intention is to nullify the Word of God. I knew what you meant before you gave the scripture. It was just the fact that since there is just more than you and me having this discussion, it would be best to back up what you say. Second, even the disciples had no understanding of the parables. Although, I don't understand what your point is in all of this. I am sure that you can understand that the entire Word of God is a mystery to everyone. I find new things I didn't know every time I dig into it. And I have read the Bible and studied scripture for many, many, many years. Yet, as I have said before, if there is something you just don't understand in the Word, pray about it. God will answer.

A mystery is something unknown or not understood. Do you know and understand everything? You even said yourself and agree that we find things every time we read it.

If you read something in the Word of God that you do not understand, would that be considered a parable. Do you then not pray about and seek to understand what you do not understand (pray for eyes to see and ears to hear)?

The people Jesus was talking about, that he spoke to in parables, were evil in their hearts and only sought to make a stumbling block for Jesus. This they did often and that is why He spoke in terms they did not understand.
