Crash of Small Plane Into House Investigated; 3 Dead

HERMANTOWN, Minn.—Federal investigators hope to determine what caused a single-engine plane to crash into a house in northern Minnesota, killing three on board and narrowly missing two people asleep in the house.

Officials say the Cessna 172 Skyhawk went down shortly before midnight Saturday in Hermantown minutes after departing from Duluth International Airport.

Authorities on Sunday identified the victims as passengers Alyssa Schmidt, 32, of St. Paul, her brother Matthew Schmidt, 31, of Burnsville, and the pilot, Tyler Fretland, 32, of Burnsville.

Jason Hoffman told Minnesota Public Radio that he and his wife had been asleep on the second floor of their home when they were jolted by what sounded like an explosion. The plane tore through the roof above their bed, he said.

“We couldn’t hardly see each other through all the insulation dust. I was able to grab a flashlight next to the bed and the first thing I saw was an airplane wheel sitting at the end of our bed,” Hoffman said. “That’s when we looked out and noticed the entire back half our house was gone.”

Hoffman said the wreckage of the plane wound up wedged between his truck and the garage.

The Hermantown Police Department was notified by the control tower at the Duluth airport after the small airplane had left radar and was believed to have crashed. The control tower advised the last location on radar was 1 to 1 1/2 miles south of the airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.

Ex-CIA Jan 6th Committee Aide Advised Biden-Linked Ukraine Consulting Firm Under DOJ Investigation.

A senior aide for the congressional January 6th committee is a former advisor for a consulting firm tied to Hunter Biden and his work with the controversial Ukrainian energy company Burisma, The National Pulse can reveal.

The company has been under investigation by the Justice Department for engaging in unregistered foreign lobbying on behalf of its Ukrainian client.

Despite these concerns, former Blue Star Strategies Senior Advisor William C. Danvers is currently working for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol. Danvers is employed as a Senior Researcher, according to congressional records, where he stands to make a reported annual salary of $173,900.

Danvers was previously listed as a Senior Advisor to the Biden-linked Blue Star Strategies – a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm that worked to boost the public image of Ukraine-based energy company Burisma Holdings in November 2015. During that time, Hunter Biden served on Burisma’s board, collecting sizable retainer fees.

Emails obtained from the “hard drive from hell” appear to show Hunter Biden playing a crucial role in the scandal-plagued energy firm’s decision to proceed with hiring Blue Star Strategies.

Hunter Biden told Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi: “Let me have one final call with them and verify once more that they understand the scope so we can all feel the retainer is in line with the work required. I trust [Blue Star co-founder] Sally [Painter] and Karen implicitly so I believe we are all aligned but I want to have one last conversation with them to confirm before we proceed.”

Two days later, Hunter reiterated in an email to Pozharskyi that “[Fellow Burisma board member] Devon [Archer] and I do feel comfortable with BS [Blue Star] and the ability of Sally & Karen to deliver … Looking forward to getting started on this.”

He has also written for The Hill, as well as a website called ‘The Globalist’.

Danver’s appointment to the committee is the latest example of the body’s deep state and far-left bias, in addition to a producer for the committee’s hearings posting violent threats towards Trump supporters on Twitter.

Top Democrat Official: Parents Will Kill Kids If Schools Don’t Hide Kid’s Gender Identity From Parents

The chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party claimed without evidence late last week that if public schools do not withhold information from parents about their children’s behavior in school as it relates to so-called “gender identity counseling” that some parents will beat their children to death.

Raymond Buckley made the outlandish claim on social media Friday in response to another tweet that highlighted the stance of Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH).

“Should parents have the right to know if their children are receiving gender identity counseling at school, or is Manchester school district right to keep it secret from moms and dads?” the New Hampshire Journal asked on Twitter.

Conservative commentator Michael Graham responded, “The most interesting part of this story out of #NHPolitics is that @RepChrisPappas is unabashedly arguing that parents should NOT have the right to know about behavior of their own children.”

Buckley responded to Graham’s tweet, writing: “You’re purposely going after children, endangering their lives, mental health & safety & its disgusting. Not all families are the same, some kids will be kicked out or beaten (to death) or commit suicide. All to try to get votes for Karoline? #NHPolitics”

“The chair of @NHDems stating clearly the party’s position is that teachers should decide what parents are allowed to know about their own children,” Graham responded. “@RepChrisPappas voted Thursday to kill a requirement schools inform parents when their kids receive counseling at school.”

Buckley’s remarks come as Karoline Leavitt won the Republican Party primary last month for the state’s 1st Congressional District, which is currently represented by Pappas.

“The Biden administration labeled parents as ‘domestic terrorists,’ and now the chair of the New Hampshire Democrat Party is claiming Granite State parents beat their kids to death,” Leavitt said in response to Buckley’s tweet. “The Democrats’ hatred for parents who simply want to be involved in their children’s education is disgusting. It’s rooted in the fact that Democrats like Chris Pappas are funded by powerful teachers unions who want total control over our public education system. While Pappas continues to side with Joe Biden and radical bureaucrats, I will continue to stand with Granite State mothers and fathers.”

New Hampshire GOP chair Stephen Stepanek also responded to Buckley’s remarks, saying that Buckley’s statement made it “clear where the New Hampshire Democratic Party stands on parental involvement in their child’s education.”

“They believe that parents have zero rights when it comes to knowing what’s going on inside the classroom,” Stepanek said. “New Hampshire Democrats believe it is their right to raise and indoctrinate the children of our state. New Hampshire Republicans believe it is the God-given right of parents to raise their children, and that right does not stop at the classroom door.”

General Petraeus: Russia Can’t Win War. If Putin Uses Tactical Nukes, U.S., NATO Will Destroy Russian Conventional Forces

Former CIA Director David Petraeus, the general who led U.S. forces in Iraq in 2007-2008, said Sunday that Russia cannot win its war against Ukraine and if Russian President Vladimir Putin uses tactical nuclear weapons, the U.S. will lead NATO in an unprecedented attack against Russia.

Petraeus spoke to Jon Karl of ABC News on “This Week.”

“He is losing,” Petraeus said of Putin. “And the battlefield reality he faces is, I think, irreversible. … over the last seven months, President Zelenskyy and Ukraine have mobilized vastly better than has Russia. In other words, Ukraine has recruited, trained, equipped, organized and employed forces incomparably better than Russia has.”

“By irreversible, you mean that Russia cannot win this war,” Karl suggested.

“They cannot — there’s nothing he can do at this point,” Petraeus answered. “The losses have been staggering. They have been many multiples, in seven months, what Russia lost in nearly a decade in Afghanistan — many, many multiples.”

“It can still get worse for Putin and for Russia,” Petraeus continued. “And even the use of tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield won’t change this at all.”

Karl asked Petraeus what would happen if Russia utilized tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield.

“Just to give you a hypothetical, we would respond by leading a NATO, a collective effort, that would take out every Russian conventional force that we can see and identify on the battlefield in Ukraine and also in Crimea and every ship in the Black Sea,” Petraeus began.

Karl noted of a possible use of tactical nuclear weapons by Russia, “The radiation would extend into NATO countries, it effectively would be an attack on NATO.”

“Yes. And perhaps you can make that case,” Petraeus replied. “The other case is that this is so horrific that there has to be a response, it cannot go unanswered. But it doesn’t expand, it doesn’t — it’s not nuclear for nuclear. You don’t want to, again, get into a nuclear escalation here. But you have to show that this cannot be accepted in any way.”

“He thinks he can out suffer Europe, if you will. And, you know, the Russians have out suffered Napoleon and the Nazis and so forth. But I don’t think he’s going to out suffer Europe. Europe’s going to have a tough winter, there’s going to be very reduced flow of natural gas, but they’ll get through it and I don’t think they’ll crack on the issue of support for Ukraine,” Petraeus concluded.

Ex-Clinton Adviser: Hillary Clinton Setting Up 2024 Presidential Run After Latest Shot At Biden

Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (D) might be gearing up to run for the nation’s highest office one more time in 2024 after her latest criticism of President Joe Biden (D), according to a long-time Clinton adviser.

Political strategist Dick Morris made the remarks during an interview with John Catsimatidis on his WABC 770 AM radio show that aired on Sunday, the New York Post reported.

“I see more and more signs that Hillary’s going to run,” Morris said, noting that Clinton has been echoing what many Americans believe, that they do not support “open borders.”

The remarks come as the Biden administration’s policies on the southern border have led to national security and humanitarian catastrophe as there have been more than 2.3 million illegal border crossings over the last 11 months, an all-time record, and there have been more than 4 million total since Biden was inaugurated.

“These are all signals that she is going to be the moderate candidate for president,” Morris said. “She’s going to say after the election, ‘See, the left cost us the House and the Senate. If we stay with a left-wing candidate in 2024, we’re going to lose the White House. I’m the only one who will tack to the center and give us a chance at victory​.’​”

Morris said that Ms. Clinton was using the playbook that her husband, former President Bill Clinton (D), used when he ran for office during his first term, a strategy that Morris said he designed for the former president.

“​Hillary is just dusting off Bill’s playbook that I wrote for him and applying it herself this year,” Morris said.

The Post reported that Morris predicted last week that Democrats would push Biden out in favor of Clinton to stave off potentially ending up with an even more far-left candidate than Biden, which he said would cause the party to get blown out during the election.

“Once Biden pulls out, the polling will show that the Democrats are leaning toward some crazy radical like Gavin Newson, Bernie Sanders. Maybe even AOC herself,” Morris ​said. “That’s going to drive the Democratic Party leaders to go to Hillary and say, ‘Hey look. Please run again. We need you to save us from the crazy left.'”

“Otherwise we’ll have Sanders as our candidate. We’ll lose Congress by a ton,” he predicted. “And we’ll get wiped out in the presidential race.’”

Rights group: Israel holding 800 Palestinians without trial

Israel is holding nearly 800 Palestinians without trial or charge, the highest number since 2008, an Israeli rights group said Sunday.

The group, HaMoked, which regularly gathers figures from Israeli prison authorities, said that 798 Palestinians are currently being held in so-called administrative detention, a practice where the prisoners can be held for months, do not know the charges against them and are not granted access to the evidence against them.

The group said the number of those held in administrative detention has risen steadily this year, as Israel conducts nightly arrest raids in the occupied West Bank in response to a spate of attacks against Israelis earlier this year.

Israel says it uses administrative detention to impede attacks and restrain dangerous militants without revealing sensitive intelligence. Rights groups and Palestinians say it is an abusive system that denies freedom without due process, leaving some Palestinians for months or even years behind bars with no evidence against them made accessible. Some resort to life-threatening hunger strikes to draw attention to their detention, which often drives up tensions between Israel and Palestinians.

“Administrative detention should be an exceptional measure but Israel makes wholesale use of this detention without trial,” said Jessica Montell, HaMoked’s executive director. “This has to stop. If Israel cannot bring them to trial, it must release all administrative detainees.”

HaMoked said the figure was a new peak in a growing wave of administrative detentions which began last spring following a series of attacks by Palestinians against Israelis that killed 19 people. Those attacks sparked the Israeli raids that have killed some 100 Palestinians, many of them said to be militants or local youths out to protest the incursion into their cities or towns, but civilians have also died in the violence.

The Israeli military says some 1,500 Palestinians have been arrested during that time including those held in administrative detention. It says the raids are necessary to dismantle militant networks and thwart attacks against Israelis. Palestinians say the raids are aimed at maintaining Israel’s 55-year military rule over territories they want for a future state.

The raids have been met by an uptick in shooting attacks in the West Bank. On Sunday, the military said an Israeli soldier and a motorist were lightly wounded in two separate incidents.

The last time Israel held as many administrative detainees, in May 2008, also coincided with an increase in Israeli-Palestinian violence.

Israel’s Shin Bet domestic security service did not respond to a request for comment.

Israel captured the West Bank in the 1967 Mideast war and has since established some 130 settlements there, home to 500,000 settlers. The Palestinians want the territory, along with east Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip for their hoped-for independent state.

World Bank to Give Ukraine $530 Million in Additional Aid

The World Bank has said it will provide an additional $530 million in support to Ukraine, bringing the total aid by the bank to $13 billion, as Russia's invasion of the country continues.

The aid is supported by the United Kingdom ($500 million) and the Kingdom of Denmark ($30 million), the World Bank said in a statement.

Of the total aid of $13 billion to Ukraine to date, $11 billion has been fully disbursed, the bank added.

The World Bank's most recent analysis puts the total long-term cost of reconstruction and recovery in Ukraine over the next three years at well over $100 billion, said Arup Banerji, World Bank Regional Country Director for Eastern Europe.

Report Links Deforestation in Brazil to 3 Central Banks

Three of the world’s largest central banks allegedly bought millions of dollars in corporate bonds from agribusinesses heavily linked to illegal deforestation of climate critical forests and land grabs in Brazil, a recent report from Global Witness revealed.

“The Bank of England, the European Central Bank, and the Federal Reserve have purchased large volumes of debt issued by companies linked to deforestation and forest destruction,” read the report. Corporate bonds are bought by banks as part of a strategy to inject additional liquidity into financial markets, especially after the 2008 financial crisis.

The tool is supposed to reduce the cost of borrowing for companies and was used widely during the pandemic as a way of bolstering economies.

Global Witness Analyst Veronica Oakeshott said that “at a time when the climate crisis is ravaging countries across the world, it is unacceptable that the biggest central banks are bankrolling companies linked to the destruction of forests and its associated human rights abuses.”

Brazil lost an area the size of Denmark of primary forest over the last three years.

Global Witness’ research found that the Federal Reserve had bought a total of US$16 million in corporate debt from a range of controversial agribusiness traders including Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM), Bunge Ltd Financial Corp, and Cargill, Inc., which are allegedly linked to deforestation and land-grabbing in ecosystems including the Brazilian Cerrado, one of the world’s richest savannas and critical carbon sink.

The Bank of England invested in an undisclosed fraction of a $165 million Cargill bond, while the European Central Bank bought an undisclosed amount of debt issued by Bunge Finance Europe B.V., a subsidiary of Bunge Limited.

Although both the European Central Bank and the Bank of England “have agreed to gradually decarbonize their corporate bond holdings,” Global Witness believes that not publishing the values of their holdings created “a lack of transparency.”

The Federal Reserve has “wound down” its bond purchasing program buying scheme.

“We need banks to take urgent action on deforestation,” the Global Witness tweeted.

A 2021 Global Witness investigation found that ADM, Bunge and Cargill fueled human rights abuses by purchasing from soy suppliers in conflict with traditional communities in Brazil’s Bahia state.

Cargill said it was “committed to ending deforestation and conversion in our agricultural supply chains,” while Bunge stated it was “committed to complying with all regulations either in local or global markets and to adhering to our own strict social-environmental policies.” ADM, on the other hand, did not respond to requests for comment.

If Facebook, Twitter, And Google Hide Information For The World’s Rulers, Elections Are A Scam

In a September interview that went viral on social media Sunday, a United Nations operative admitted the U.S. government-funded organization “partnered with Google” to rig the results returned on the world’s dominant search engine for the phrase “climate change.”

This follows multiple casual disclosures that, yes, politics control the information on monopoly tech platforms. In fact, government officials all the way up to the White House routinely use Big Tech to control what citizens are allowed to say to each other online, as an ongoing lawsuit from several U.S. attorneys general recently divulged.

The Biden White House is fighting further disclosures about high-level federal officials’ involvement in this government-pressured censorship regime, including Anthony Fauci and the White House press secretary. The companies involved include Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, the court documents say.

Earlier this year, a clip of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg — who threw hundreds of millions of dollars obtained from his communications monopoly company into helping Democrat activists embed inside government election offices in 2020 — also went viral. It showed him telling podcaster Joe Rogan that the FBI also controls the information Facebook allows people to share. The FBI’s meddling affected the 2020 presidential election outcome.

In other words, it’s not just Communist China where the citizenry’s access to knowledge is controlled by government officials. It’s now a global phenomenon. Google, Facebook, Twitter, and the other Big Tech companies are global monopolies headquartered within the United States whose information monopolies affect elections globally. Again, they admit to limiting and amplifying election-affecting information at the behest of U.S. officials. (No wonder China won’t allow Google or Facebook inside its Great Firewall.)

In countries that pretend to be self-governing “democracies” such as the United States, government officials controlling what information is allowed to spread on platforms that government policies help keep dominant is blatant election meddling. It’s controlling elections by controlling the information voters get.

Google controls a reported 81 percent of internet searches and, with Facebook, influences perhaps three-quarters of all internet traffic (very recent information about this appears not readily at the top of even DuckDuckGo results). Twitter is much smaller traffic-wise but still very influential, as it has a disproportionate effect on the swamp class. If these entities black out certain topics — and we know they do because they say so publicly! — they could easily swing elections, or almost anything else they wanted, really.

Just think about it: How would you find out about important happenings without the internet? Even if we start with personal matters: What if Facebook decided to manipulate your feed just to see how it affects your emotions? Oh, it still does that with teenage girls on Instagram?

For political news, how would you get that without using the internet now — would you read a local newspaper? To the extent those exist and report reliable information, which is almost not at all, so-called local newspapers are now Big Tech derivatives themselves, as reporters largely get their information via email and searches, and access to their work is influenced by search engines.

Would you get your information via email? Email providers also censor based on politics. Maybe via phone or text? Well, how many people can you talk to or text at one time? Not enough to get really good coverage of national information important to, say, selecting a president. How many good national political reporters can you get on speakerphone?

The Zuckerberg and UN official’s recent limited hangouts are also certainly just the iceberg tip. The FBI and other government agencies don’t need to tell Facebook to ban regime-damaging information if the outlets that social media companies don’t choke refuse to cover it.

A recent example is the FBI’s out-of-control raid on a pro-life activist dad over a misdemeanor charge that local police dismissed. That raid wasn’t covered by the leftist media that Big Tech’s compromised fact-checkers rate in ways that allow them to spread information faster and farther than conservative outlets.

Supreme Court Declines to Hear Challenge to Biden’s Federal Vaccine Mandate for Healthcare Workers

The US Supreme Court on Monday turned away an appeal from Missouri and nine other states challenging Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.

Last November Joe Biden imposed a federal vaccine mandate on all healthcare workers that affected 10.4 million people.

In January of this year the US Supreme Court blocked Joe Biden’s OSHA vax mandate for private businesses with 100+ employees.

In a separate, simultaneously released ruling, the highest court of the land – in a 5-4 vote – allowed a similar vaccine mandate for healthcare facilities that receive Medicaid and Medicare to stand.

Conservative Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Clarence Thomas dissented earlier this year.

“These cases are not about the efficacy or importance of COVID–19 vaccines. Missouri and nine other states appealed to the Supreme Court after the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals bounced the case back to a federal court.

On its first session back Monday, the Supreme Court declined the challenge in an unsigned opinion.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a challenge to the federal vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.

On its first day back in session, the Supreme Court declined to hear an argument from Missouri as well as nine other states — Nebraska, Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming — opposing the COVID-19 vaccine mandate implemented by President Biden’s administration for workers in all healthcare facilities that receive federal funding, Reuters reported.

In April, the St. Louis-based 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sent the case back to a federal judge to proceed to a trial, but Missouri then appealed to the Supreme Court.

The justices turned away the appeal on Monday.

In an unsigned opinion, the court wrote: “The challenges posed by a global pandemic do not allow a federal agency to exercise power that Congress has not conferred upon it. At the same time, such unprecedented circumstances provide no grounds for limiting the exercise of authorities the agency has long been recognized to have.” It said the “latter principle governs” in the healthcare arena.

Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in dissent that the case was about whether the administration has the authority “to force healthcare workers, by coercing their employers, to undergo a medical procedure they do not want and cannot undo.” He said the administration hadn’t shown convincingly that Congress gave it that authority.

Supreme Court Rejects Mike Lindell’s Bid to Stop Dominion’s $1.3 Billion Defamation Lawsuit

The US Supreme Court on Monday rejected MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s bid to stop a defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems.

A Trump-appointed judge ruled last August that a $1.3 billion lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems against Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Mike Lindell may proceed.

Judge Carl Nichols dismissed requests to throw out the junk lawsuit.

Dominion Voting Systems is suing the Trump supporters for their accusations that votes were changed during the 2020 election.

Dominion is under fire since the 2020 elections after the impossible “win” by Joe Biden.

“A federal judge Wednesday ordered that three defamation lawsuits of $1.3 billion each filed by Dominion Voting Systems be allowed to continue after allies of former President Donald Trump filed requests that they be dismissed.” Newsweek reported in August 2021.

“Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s former personal attorney, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and “Kraken” attorney Sidney Powell are all named as defendants in lawsuits that will proceed, alleging that each of these parties made claims without evidence that Dominion Voting Systems had rigged the results of the 2020 presidential election by manipulating voting numbers.” Newsweek reported last year.

“The justices’ decision not to hear the case means a federal judge’s ruling in August 2021 that allowed the lawsuit to move forward remains in place.” CNBC reported.

Australian Bureau of Statistics Reports Increase in Excess Deaths in 2022 Which is Above Historical Average

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the number of excess deaths in 2022 has already increased which is more than the average for previous years.

The number of deaths that occurred by June 30 and were reported by August 31 in 2022 was 92,699. This was an increase of 13,524 (17.1%) over the historical average.

For the month of June, 16,749 deaths were reported. There were 2,410 more deaths than usual, for a 16.8% increase.

Of the 16,749 deaths in June 2022, 14,910 confirmed deaths were medically verified by doctors, and 1,839 deaths were referred to the coroner.

According to the data, Australia recorded 174,318 deaths that were not caused by COVID-19 between June 28, 2021, and June 26, 2022.

A total of 180,927 deaths, including deaths from COVID-19, were recorded in Australia between June 28, 2021, and June 26, 2022.

There were 384 deaths due to influenza and pneumonia in June, 31.5% above the baseline average. Of these deaths, 147 were due to influenza (compared to a baseline average of 41) and 237 were due to pneumonia (compared to a baseline average of 251).

There have been 193 doctor certified deaths due to influenza between January and June 2022.

Deaths due to chronic lower respiratory diseases were 8.5% above the baseline average for June, and deaths due to respiratory diseases were 13.5% above average. Chronic lower respiratory diseases and influenza and pneumonia are subsets of respiratory diseases.

Deaths due to dementia including Alzheimer’s disease were 25.6% above the baseline average in June, and 21.8% above the baseline average for the year to June. This equated to an age-standardised death rate of 4.3 per 100,000 people, compared to a baseline average rate of 3.8.

While the number of deaths due to cancer was above the baseline average in June, the age standardised rate of 12.0 per 100,000 people was below the baseline average rate of 12.5.

Deaths due to diabetes were 17.2% above average in June, and were 20.1% higher than the baseline average for the year to June. The age standardised death rate for June was 1.4 per 100,000 people, compared to a baseline average rate of 1.3.

A former Pentagon advisor says the most likely culprits behind the Nord Stream pipeline blasts are the United States and Britain, and that the attack was carried out to prevent Germany from bailing on the war in Ukraine.

Retired US Army colonel Douglas Macgregor made the comments during an appearance on the Judging Freedom podcast.

Macgregor said a process of elimination rules out Germany, because they are dependent on Nord Stream for their energy security, while it also served no benefit for Russia to have sabotaged its own infrastructure.

“Would the Russians destroy their own pipeline? 40 percent of Russian gross national product or gross domestic product consists of foreign currency that comes into the country to purchase natural gas, oil, coal and so forth. So the Russians did not do this. The notion that they did I think is absurd,” Macgregor said.

Referring to Polish MEP Radoslaw Sikorski’s infamous deleted tweet in which he wrote, “Thank you, USA,” Macgregor noted, “Who else might be involved? Well the Poles apparently seem to be very enthusiastic about it.”

“Then you have to look at who are the state actors that have the capability to do this. And that means the Royal Navy, the United States Navy Special Operations,” said Macgregor.

“I think that’s pretty clear. We know that thousands of pounds of TNT were used because these pipelines are enormously robust. You have several inches of concrete around various metal alloys to move the natural gas. So it’s not something that you could simply drop a grenade down at the end of a fish line and disrupt. That means it takes a certain amount of sophistication,” he added.

Macgregor suggested that the motive behind the attacks was to prevent Germany from bailing on the Ukraine war after Berlin began “to give the impression that they were no longer going to go along with this proxy war in Ukraine.”

“I’m hesitant to say ‘we know it must have been Washington’. I can’t say that because we just don’t know. But it’s very clear that we have foreclosed Berlin’s options. Berlin was drifting away from this alliance. [Chancellor] Olaf Scholz said ‘I’m not sending any more equipment, I won’t send any tanks’. Now he’s in a bind because the United States has simply robbed him of the option of bailing out. Who’s going to supply him gas and oil and coal and everything else if he bails out? Where does he turn now? And remember, the Germans, who are facing terrible consequences at home refuse to restart nuclear power plants,” the former official said.

As we previously reported, the CIA warned Germany of potential attacks on gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea weeks before Nord Stream 1 and 2 were targeted.

Both Joe Biden and Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland asserted that Nord Stream 2 wouldn’t be allowed to operate if Russia attacked Ukraine.
