Computers are amazing inventions, if you think about it. Billions upon billions of transistors running at billions of cycles per second. If just one transistor fails to fire at exactly the right time then everything stops working. And then there are those millions of lines of code. Yeah, there are bugs in that code but, still, your computer manages to keep running despite that. My computer has been running for a week and those billions of transistors and millions of lines of code have not managed to suicide themselves (yet).
It just boggles my mind. Unlike most people, I'm in the position of actually understanding how all of this shit works but it still amazes me. Okay, I'll stop babbling now, kek.
