Origin of the vote:
All the able body fighting men would meet on the battlefield and the issue wasn't worth dying for so "raise your sword if you're willing to die over this issue" one bloke raises his sword and was killed, problem solved.
Again another issue arises "raise your sword if you're willing to die over this issue" 80% raises their swords… "Ok, fuck have it your way I ain't dying over it" Then eventually it was I can't be fucked to walk to the battlefield or pick up my sword over such trivial shit…
The vote was and always will be a measure of how many are willing to fight, kill & or die for any given cause. Men were the only votes that counted as women and children can't physically defeat grown men in physical combat.
Voting is nothing more than raising your hand to indicate you are willing to die for a cause in battle to any would be leader…
