Covered this last bread, and things aren't always what they seem to be. Interesting how only dem infested godless shitholes were decimated by the homeless and drug-addled and not "Smalltown", USA. Is Elon trying to get Twitter to commit seppuku? If they don't sell, they're going to get hammered. If they do sell, they are going to get hammered.
I don't think it's about the money. I think it's about what the money would be used for. And I think Elon is definitely cooperating/helping. Remember Q drop talking about many born into it. Their entire system was control/coercion. Many (probably) reluctantly went along with it (no choice otherwise).
Say they sell and get paid so as to not be left holding the bag. Funds being tracked/monitored? They get their payday, and then what they do with the money ends up taking them down. Say they refuse to sell. They are fucked after SCOTUS ruling on 230 which we all know is going to strip protections from platforms (regardless of whether you agree with it or not). Section 230 is currently sold to the public as the reason they can silence right-wingers (which is true) but the real story is the loads of illegal porn all over the place. Section 230 removal is going to drastically change the landscape of the internet.
