Michigan Child Services Plans To Hire “Sexual Orientation & Expression” Consultant For Foster Kids
The Children’s Services Agency is reportedly seeking to hire a consultant to be a part of the “Diversity Equity and Inclusion Unit” and help determine the “needs and concerns of LGBTQ staff, families and children.”
That’s as the five largest counties of the state would also get a transgender youth service, the proposal contract reads.
And every six months, the “consultant” will also have to provide an update on the “opportunities for growth” of the LGBTQ community among the underage.
