Company History
The company was begun in 1999. In 2001, we asked a class of communication students to design a new image for our company. At that time, our company was called LJ Connection LLC. Over 200 names were suggested for replacing the old company name. Konnech', the new name, was finally selected. Konnech’, Inc. was incorporated in April 2002 in Okemos, which is a suburb of East Lansing, Michigan. Since then, Konnech has become a leading designer of customized solutions in the election industry.
Konnech’, Inc., has developed two web-based enterprise level election management solutions: PollChief® is a data warehouse that organizes communications and logistical details for polling places/precincts, workers, assets/drayage, and help desk; ABVote®, which has recently been licensed to Votem, Inc. for North America operations, provides voter services such as online registration, ballot delivery, and a voter information platform.
Konnech harnesses emerging technologies such as mobile applications, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to streamline all aspects of election management.
Our mission is to equip our customers with technology that will enhance the accuracy, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of election administration. We customize solutions that fit the specific requirements of each of our customers.
