Potato will attend a fundraiser at Rupert Murdoch's son James multi-million dollar Manhattan home on Thursday to raise more money for Democrats in bid to avoid midterms bloodshed

resident Joe Biden is set to fly to New York this week as part of an effort to help shore up Senate Democrats' chances by attending a fundraiser at the Manhattan home of Rupert Murdoch son James Murdoch.

James Murdoch, 49, was also a top donor to Biden's 2020 effort – breaking with his powerful father, whose Fox network provided Donald Trump with a powerful platform.

James Murdoch resigned from the board of News Corp that year. His wife Kathryn is an environmental activist who has donated heavily to Democrat Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee.

The couple founded the Quadrivium foundation, which has given millions to left-leaning organizations in recent years.

Resident Biden is keeping the funder, first reported in radaronline, on his schedule during a busy week – he flew to Puerto Rico Monday and plans to fly to Florida Wednesday.

The president has picked up his fundraising pace in recent weeks, helping haul in $107 for the DNC his year, 'the most at this point in any year,' an official told Reuters.

It comes at a critical time for Senate Democrats, who are hoping to cling to their 50-seat majority – or even expand it to avoid some of the party squabbles of the last year or even find enough support to change rules to disallow a filibuster for a law codifying the right to an abortion.

After making summer gains, there has been tightening races in Pennsylvania and Ohio and Wisconsin where Republicans have been on their back foot.

Dr. Mehmet Oz has been closing the gap with Democrat Lt. Gov. John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, whose negatives jumped in a new survey following attacks on his positions on crime.

Republicans have been blasting Democrat Mandela Barnes on the airwaves, allowing Republican Sen. Ron Johnson to maintain a narrow polling lead. In Arizona, Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly has been gaining on Republican Blake Masters.

The Georgia Senate race was rocked Tuesday night be new allegations that Republican Herschel Walker paid for a woman's abortion despite backing legislation to outlaw the practice at 15 weeks.

The former football star took to 'Hannity' to deny the claim following a Daily Beast report that cites a $575 receipt for the procedure, a $700 check signed by Walker dated five days after the procedure, and a get well card he signed. Walker denied paying for an abortion, calling it a 'flat-out lie,' and said he sends money and cards to lots of people.

As a candidate he has called abortion 'a woman killing her baby.'

In another Senate race, in Nevada, Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto trails Republican Adam Laxalt by 2 points in the Real Clear Politics polling average.

The Murdoch funder is for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, according to Reuters. The president plans to attend an earlier event at the home of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.

James Murdoch put $100 million in his nonprofit Quadrivium foundation, which made substantial donations during the 2020 election cycle. They also gave millions to groups supporting Biden, opposing Donald Trump, and fighting extremism.

Murdoch told the Financial Times days after the Capitol attack that has featured in Biden's speeches: 'The damage is profound.'

'The sacking of the Capitol is proof positive that what we thought was dangerous is indeed very, very much so. Those outlets that propagate lies to their audience have unleashed insidious and uncontrollable forces that will be with us for years,' he said.

'They need to be sent back to their home country': Ron DeSantis tears into 'illegal alien' looters who should not be in the US 'at all' after they were arrested for ransacking homes devastated by Hurricane Ian

October 4, 2022

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has revealed how three of the four looting suspects that were arrested in Lee County were in the United States illegally.

The Republican executive made the revelation during a news conference in Fort Myers on Tuesday as he gave an update about the response to Hurricane Ian.

DeSantis focused on 'law and order' in southwest Florida and drew a connection between that at his opposition to President Joe Biden's immigration policies.

'These are people that are foreigners, they're illegally in our country, but not only that, they try to loot and ransack in the aftermath of a natural disaster,' DeSantis explained.

Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis revealed how three of the looters were illegal immigrants 'who should not be in the US at all'

'These are people that are foreigners, they're illegally in our country, but not only that, they try to loot and ransack in the aftermath of a natural disaster,' he said

In a warning to looters, Ron DeSantis said that Floridians would not be scared to evoke their Second Amendment rights if they caught an opportunist in their midst

DeSantis has taken a similarly hard line when it comes to immigration

Last month he was instrumental in sending 48 Venezuelan migrants on flights from Texas to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts.

The looters were arrested on September 29 - but documents reveal that they were released after posting a $35,000 bond each

The mounting death toll from Ian's wrath currently stands at 85, and 'ground zero' Fort Myers is currently one of Florida's most decimated neighborhoods

Rescue teams are desperately trying to find survivors amid the rubble

WWIII update, Korean penisula edition

S. Korea and U.S. military fire FOUR surface-to-surface missiles in response to N. Korea missile test that forced evacuations in Japan and ratcheted up regional tensions

The missiles were fired into the sea off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula in response to a missile test by North Korea

South Korea and the United States fired the four ground-to-ground missiles into the East Sea on Wednesday as part of joint drills, authorities say

Each side launched two Army Tactical Missile System missiles which hit mock targets and demonstrated their ability to deter any further provocations

Nuclear-armed North Korea test-fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile on Tuesday sending it soaring over Japan for the first time in five years

U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida have condemned North Korea's test

October 4, 2022

South Korea and the U.S. military fired a volley of missiles into the sea in response to North Korea's launch of a ballistic missile over Japan - after Pyongyang's longest-range test to date drew international condemnation this week.

Nuclear-armed North Korea test-fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) farther than ever before on Tuesday, sending it soaring over Japan for the first time in five years prompting a warning for residents there to take cover.

South Korean and American troops staged a missile drill of their own in response, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Wednesday.

Each side fired a pair of U.S.-made ATACMS short-range ballistic missiles, according to a statement.

The military separately confirmed that a South Korean Hyunmoo-2 missile failed shortly after launch and crashed, but caused no casualties.

U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida condemned North Korea's test in the 'strongest terms,' the European Union called it a 'reckless and deliberately provocative action.'

The U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the launch and said it was a violation of Security Council resolutions.

The United States has asked the U.N. Security Council to have a meeting on North Korea, but diplomats said China and Russia are opposed to a public discussion by the 15-member body.

'I want my documents back!' Trump says National Archives should RETURN files seized in Mar-a-Lago raid - claiming they could go missing after the agency 'lost a whole hard drive' of Clinton White House information

October 4, 2022

Trump slammed the National Archives in a lengthy statement on Tuesday

He cited a 2009 scandal in which the agency lost a hard drive of records

Clinton-era records included personal information for thousands of people

'There is no security at NARA. I want my documents back!' Trump wrote

Meanwhile, Trump asked SCOTUS to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago case

FBI seized thousands of documents in the August 8 raid on Trump's Florida home

==Trump shared a CNN report that detailed how NARA lost the external hard drive containing confidential personal information, including the names, phone numbers and Social Security numbers of White House staff members and visitors.

'NARA lost a whole hard drive full of HIGHLY SENSITIVE information from the Clinton White House,' wrote Trump. 'What else have they "lost"? How can Americans trust a system like this?'

The hard drive in question was found to be missing from a processing room at NARA’s College Park, Maryland, facility in March 2009.==

His Daddy was a faggot who lived at Y.M.C.A.

Young man, there's no need to feel down.

I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.

I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town

There's no need to be unhappy.

Young man, there's a place you can go.

I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.

You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find

Many ways to have a good time.

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

They have everything for young men to enjoy,

You can hang out with all the boys…

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal,

You can do whatever you feel…

Young man, are you listening to me?

I said, young man, what do you wanna be?

I said, young man, you can make real your dreams.

But you got to know this one thing!

No man does it all by himself.

I said, young man, put your pride on the shelf,

And just go there, to the Y.M.C.A.

I'm sure they can help you today.

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

They have everything for young men to enjoy,

You can hang out with all the boys…

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal,

You can do whatever you feel…

Young man, I was once in your shoes.

I said, I was down and out with the blues.

I felt no man cared if I were alive.

I felt the whole world was so jive…

That's when someone came up to me,

And said, "Young man, take a walk up the street.

There's a place there called the 'Y.M.C.A.'

They can start you back on your way."

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

WASHINGTON — The Defense Department is reviewing a key diversity official’s Twitter posts disparaging white people after 22 Republican legislators pressed the Pentagon last month for answers about the incendiary messages.

Kelisa Wing, the self-described “woke” chief of diversity, equity and Inclusion at the DoD’s school system, had sent tweets kvetching about white people since at least 2020.

“I’m so exhausted at these white folx in these [professional development] sessions this lady actually had the CAUdacity [Caucasian audacity] to say black people can be racist too,” Wing tweeted July 23, 2020, according to the Sept. 16 letter from Republican lawmakers to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

A Pentagon spokeswoman confirmed to The Post that the DoD’s Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness was conducting a 30-day review of Wing’s tweets.

“We are aware of news reports concerning an official at the Department of Defense Education Activity,” Navy Cmdr. Nicole Schwegmann said in a statement. “… Our focus remains on ensuring military-connected students, their families, and our employees have equitable access to opportunities and resources that support student achievement and readiness for college and careers.”

The GOPers who signed the letter, including Reps. Dan Crenshaw of Texas and Matt Gaetz of Florida, asked Austin to answer four questions related to Wing’s statements — including whether the Pentagon endorses Wing’s ideologies; whether the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) knew of her “divisive statements” before she was appointed to her position in December 2021; and if her “radical ideology” has been integrated into the curriculum.

Wing made her Twitter account private after the matter made headlines last month, but Fox News reported Wing couldn’t resist responding to another Twitter user who said, “I am exhausted by 99% of the white men in education and 95% of the white women. Where can I get a break from white nonsense for a while?”

“If another Karen tells me about her feelings… I might lose it,” Wing posted, according to Fox.

“These racially divisive comments are directly counterproductive to the goal of a professional and diverse military,” the 22 Republicans wrote

Wing is also listed as an author on several children’s books in the “Racial Justice in America” series, including titles such as “What Is White Privilege,” which includes a line that tells children, “If you are white, you might feel bad about hurting others or you might feel afraid to lose this privilege.”

“These racially divisive comments are directly counterproductive to the goal of a professional and diverse military,” the 22 Republicans wrote. “We must oppose racism wherever it occurs, but an approach that singles out one group or race is at odds with the military’s proud history of racial integration.”
