I found it odd that LA county was the first to go after Wu. It made me wonder if they were first so they could get visibility on just how bad things are™.

 

The LA county Da is interesting. George Gascón was a Republican police chief for Mesa, AZ. He switched to democrat in 2011 for a San Francisco DA run. Political animal, but maybe the right kind.

A member of the Democratic Party and a former Republican,[1] Gascón served as the district attorney of San Francisco from 2011 to 2019.
