I am of European ancestry, red heads, pale skin and freckles run through my siblings and their families.

We lived in a small mid west town thru my early education. All the people of color lived in one area and that fed into my elementary school. All 8-10 elementary schools fed into

the one public high school.

I knew most of the kids of color very well and made best friends of some and had a crush on one, but i was friendly with most but not friends all. Not so different as with white classmates, some became friends, best friends and some crushes.

As an adult, and only recenlty (past 5 years) I am assumed to be prejudced by well meaning woke blacks, and by dems who voted for Obama and knew I did not. I hate to have to explain myself. Throughout my life I have had a couple best friends who happened to be black and they were professionals with Masters degrees. One of which we discussed the racial divide and she gave me insights about her race. But mostly we discussed life in general and all the struggles common between the different skin colors.

From a small child I saw the prejudices, which nearly100 percent are traits we were born with, not a character issue.

ie: color of skin, IQ. and Religion.
