It seems a foolish question to ask, no?

"Are you opposed to quarantine camps?"

But if you are wondering whether this date with destiny really has your name on it, I'd like to talk with you.

These people are serious.

Having lost its court battle, the State of New York is changing its tactics while waiting for the November election to decide the chances for its formal quarantine camp appeal.

This Thursday, 10/6 you can watch your public servants in action, and speak with them - up close and personal - as the New York Public Health Planning Council floats an Emergency Order to allow the Health Commissioner to turn General Hospitals into quarantine facilities.

As far as I can make out, very few opponents to the Health Commissioner's ongoing quarantine regulations are willing or able to testify in public. Bobby Ann Cox may have won her lawsuit for all of us. But based on attendance at the last meeting, five residents of Columbia County alone constituted

the only members of the New York public willing to testify in perhaps the most relevant venue against what seems to be the largest scale ongoing violation of the spirit of the Nuremberg Code in New York…ever.

Here's the new emergency regulation language:

"Section 405.3 is amended by adding a new subdivision (g) as follows:

(g) Whenever the commissioner determines that there exists an outbreak of a highly contagious communicable disease pursuant to Part 2 of this Title or other public health emergency, the commissioner may direct general hospitals, as defined in Article 28 of the public health law, and consistent with the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), to accept patients pursuant to such procedures and conditions as the commissioner may determine appropriate."

Under normal circumstances, this language would be too vague. Under the current circumstances, the language is inappropriate and dangerous, especially in the context of an ongoing effort to normalize quarantine camps. In addition, there are other emergency orders they are also trying to move forward at this meeting. You can read about them in their agenda. Not surprisingly, these orders provide additional enforcement powers for the health department. How do you like the sound of this language, for example?

"When a case or suspected case of a disease, condition, outbreak, or unusual disease occurs in any business, organization, institution, or private home, the person in charge of the business, organization, institution or the home owner, as well as any individuals or entities required to report pursuant to sections 2.10 and 2.12 of this Part, shall cooperate with the State Department of Health and local health authorities in the investigation of such disease, condition, outbreak, or unusual disease."

I other words, after the investigation at your private home comes the mandatory quarantine in the General Hospital.

You don't think so?

I could be accused of being unnecessarily alarmed except that the world just went crazy over the last two years, "locked itself down" voluntarily as if in one big prison camp, and started committing suicide en masse using barely tested, clearly deadly "emergency use authorization" injections.

And the government had the nerve to ask for fifty years to release the ingredient list…according to Reuters…

And we shake our head at lemmings.

The Health Commissioner appears to need a workaround due to the success of the Uniting NYS lawsuit which struck down her earlier attempt to implement quarantine camps.

But at this meeting, the public will be allowed to comment.

Please come and plan to speak on the agenda for up to three minutes if so moved. If you plan to be in NYC, you must register with the secretary for access to the building via email: colleen.leonard@health.ny.gov . In Albany, access is open, and does not require registration.

Some of us are planning to be in NYC where the Chairman of the Council is located. But the Health Commissioner and her public health people will be reporting in person at this meeting. It would be good if some people were in the same room as they were to let them know in person that those who pay their salaries are planning on firing them for cause.

I called the Health Department to find out which location the Commissioner would attend, but her representative wouldn't say. Instead he let me know that they don't want any members of the public to "approach" members of the Council.

Although I respect their concerns, perhaps a diplomatic, friendly, but public approach is actually long since overdue.

The NY Health Department language is so authoritarian that it recalls various spectres from the past and present to mind, in particular the new phenomenon of "reeducation camps" for "viruses in thinking." To make my concerns clear, I will quote from the Chinese Communist Party's present day instruction manual for dealing with questions from relatives of the Xinjiang Muslims who have recently been sent to "reeducation camps:

"4. Since it’s just training, why can’t they come home? If you were careless and caught an infectious virus…you'd have to undergo enclosed, isolated treatment because it's an infectious illness. If you weren’t thoroughly cured, as soon as you returned home you would infect your family with this virus, and your whole family would fall ill. The party and government would not be so irresponsible that they would let a member of your family go home before their illness was cured and thinking thoroughly transformed, a situation in which they would do harm to others…

1. Did they commit a crime? Will they be convicted? They haven’t committed a crime and won’t be convicted. It is just that their thinking has been infected by unhealthy thoughts, and if they don’t quickly receive education and correction, they’ll become a major active threat to society and to your family. It’s very hard to totally eradicate viruses in thinking in just a short time. It needs to be dealt with like detox for drug addicts." - Source: Archive.org and NY Times

These statements were released by the New York Times in 2019, and were requoted in the essential Brownstone Institute book by Michael Senger, Snake Oil, How Xi Jinping Shut Down the World.
