OIG report pages 140-160 coming up, this bread or next. As soon as win8 finishes confession.
regarding pages 140-160 of the OIG (modified, redacted) report:
Much kabuki about getting access to the "culling laptops," with bureaucratic hurry-up-and-wait and go-away-closer trying to get those laptops freely without having to subpoena them or god forbid executing a search warrant. Much dancing about attorney-client privilege and the difference between asking questions about the vetting process (which emails to give up to State) and the actual blow-by-blow of why each email made one category or the other (work vs. personal). They claim they went the nice guy route because they were sure they'd see a motion to quash if they tried to be the heavies. To me it looks like a lot of looking busy while tipping their hand, then deciding to hurry up once Trump won the nomination. But not political, let us assure you … look how now we're trying to get it done fast so it doesn't influence the election.
Many of the issues parallel what we saw with the search warrant and seizures at Cohen's office, except used as the excuse to tread lightly. First 5 pages with highlights attached.
