The battle we're all engaged in is decades old and some of us have been fighting it for decades. I laugh at you when you think you've "discovered" something that we've known for decades. I laugh at you when you struggle to figure out things that are obvious to me because I know the history and the players. Sometimes I'll drop a hint of two to steer you in the right direction but most times I just sit back, pop some popcorn, and watch you puppies chase your tails.
We could be a very valuable asset and save you children a lot of time but why should we? It's more fun to watch you struggle.
