Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas announced the arrival of the movement's chief, Ismail Haniyeh, to Beirut on Tuesday, in an official visit wherein he will meet Palestinian and Lebanese leaders.
The movement said in a statement published on its website that the head of its political bureau, Haniyeh, arrived in Beirut, leading a delegation from the movement, in a visit wherein he will meet Palestinian Resistance faction leaders, as well as Palestinian national and popular leaders, in order to foster cooperation between the Palestinian and Lebanese people and to check on Palestinians living in refugee camps.
The statement also said that Haniyeh will represent the Palestinian Resistance in a speech at the 31st Islamic-Nationalist Conference in Beirut.
Haniyeh had visited Lebanon in June 2021, following the Seif Al-Quds battle and the victory achieved by the Palestinian Resistance, and met with officials from the Lebanese government and Resistance.
