Joe Allen held a speech about forthcoming tech (eugenics) on both sides of the coin. He´s advocating the good of the tech that evil is trying to implement (AI/man+machine).
I try the philosophical aproach that God implemented time to have us experience all facettes of suffering and joy. Should we become manmachines, anything and everything would be over in a fraction of time.
Suffering would be over in a blink of an eye (or less, but joy would too.
That would be boring in a way.
And I don´t think that evil wants to implement the tech on their own existing bodies, just on those they enslave. Good things need time to grow.
IDL if I can bring my philosophical point across, but I wouldn´t advocate like Joe Allen- even if he´s is right in the non-philosophical. It would erase free will and choice.
