Wife brought home 3 blue tick/lab mix strays a couple weeks ago They were badly malnourished and so they brought em home to try and nurse em back to health - with no real plan beyond that. Fortunately the 3 new boys (about 9 mos old we figure) all get along with our previous 3 dogs, 2 girls and a boy. The 3 new guys are all gentile and sweet lovie dogs. We started calling them Whitey, Black and Brownie. Whitey has developed a special relationship with my daughters dog, also the youngest. We've decided to keep him. Other daughter is probably going to keep Black. That leaves Brownie.

Brownie is probably the biggest lover of em all, wants to be in your lap. He appears to be the dominant dog in their small pack of 3. He's the one that will challenge my older boy later I'm sure. Anyways, Brownie is insanely jealous. If he feels like any one of the dogs is getting anything (water/scratch/food/attn/etc) he attacks. He's gone after all the other dogs now, but appears to focus on his two more timid brothers. He latched onto the oldest female yesterday and would not let go. I ended up punching him in the head to get him to release and he's been resting up by himself barking since then.

He's a sweet dog, would be great in a no dog fam, but I can have a dog causing shit when there are so many of them. Brownie is gonna have to go, and soon. None of the local rescues will take a dog directly. They rescue from high kill shelters. I don't want to kill the dog because he is nice when he's alone, but it feels like a death sentence unless I can find him a familam. The local humane society is a no-kill shelter, so that's good, but I need to get him sorted. N Ga if yer looking for a free dog right now.
