Doctor Featured In Dem Campaign Ad Killed Woman In Botched Abortion, Was Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Minor
A Las Vegas obstetrician-gynecologist who appeared in a campaign ad opposing a GOP congressional candidate killed a woman in a botched abortion and was charged in 1998 with sexually assaulting a minor, according to public records.
Dr. Adam Levy, Associate Professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas who practices at the Birth Control Care Center in the city, alleged in a House Majority PAC ad that Republican candidate April Becker “is a dangerous threat to the women of Nevada.” Becker is running for Congress in the state’s Third District against Democratic Rep. Susie Lee, and the race is considered a toss-up by several election analysts.
“Before Roe v. Wade, doctors saw plenty of botched, back-alley abortions, and far too many women died. Never did I think we would be back here as a nation. But politicians like April Becker have led us to this moment. Becker is so anti-abortion, her extreme backers would ban all abortions, even in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother,” Levy said in the ad.
Levy has already been responsible for at least one death following an abortion he performed, according to the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners (NSBME). His insurance settled for $20,000 after a woman died in 2007 due to a perforation of her uterus. In another instance, Levy’s insurance settled for $7,500 after a woman “suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to her labia and perineum from a hot weighted speculum used in surgery,” according to NSBME records.
Levy was also charged in 1998 with sexually assaulting a minor under the age of 16 and performing lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, according to documents obtained by The Nevada Globe. He submitted an Alford Plea in 1999 to child abuse and neglect, and was ordered to avoid contact with his victims, refrain from possessing pornography and child pornography and complete a sex offender treatment program. He also was sentenced to two years of probation.
House Majority PAC did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment on whether or not they are aware of Levy’s history of botched abortions or his criminal record.

‘Hidden Words:’ Instagram Plans to Automatically Censor Direct Messages
Instagram, the image-sharing platform owned by Facebook (now known as Meta), plans to mandate a previously optional feature that automatically censors a list of prohibited words in direct message (DM) requests and Story replies.
The feature, called “Hidden Words,” was introduced last year, but was not switched on by default. Instagram creators could go into their settings and enable it, but the tool was not in wide use.
Instagram now plans to switch the feature on for all creators, with “anti-discrimination” organizations contributing to the platform’s list of censored terms.

Hidden Words uses a “predefined list of offensive terms” and filters DM requests and Story replies that contain these terms into a separate hidden requests folder. Instagram says it worked with “leading anti-discrimination and anti-bullying organizations” to develop the list of terms.
Users of Hidden Words can also create their own list of custom words, phrases, or emojis that they want filtered from DM requests and Story replies. However, the predefined list of terms that was developed by Instagram and the anti-discrimination and anti-bullying organizations isn’t revealed to users.
Instagram said that it would also be expanding its Hidden Words filtering to “spot and hide more intentional misspellings of offensive terms, for instance, if someone uses a ‘1’ instead of an ‘i.’”
In addition to the word-filtering tool, Instagram also plans to expand “nudges,” which warn users when they are about to reply to a message or a comment that the platform’s systems consider to be offensive.
The platform also plans to expand the block feature, allowing users to block not just individual accounts, but other accounts operated by the blocked individual.
The city of Madrid has moved to return 1.7 million euros worth of fines that were handed out during Spain’s first state of alarm during the start of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.
Inmaculada Sanz, the spokesperson for the Madrid city council, announced last Thursday that the money would be refunded to those fined, while the Madrid City Council made the announcement official this week.
The 1.7 million euros collected by the municipal police after the state of alarm was declared in March of 2020 will be returned to the over 5,600 people who received 600 euro fines, or 300 euros if paid promptly, for violating the restrictions in place during the first part of the pandemic, El Mundo reports.
Inmaculada Sanz stated that he hoped the return of the cash to those fined would not take long and that there could be a waiting period for those sanctions which had gone through the justice system rather than being paid promptly.
Measures of the initial ‘state of alarm’ in Spain were declared to be illegal by the Spanish Constitutional Court in July of 2021, including restrictions such as home confinement. However, the court rejected proposals for lawsuits from people and businesses who claimed to have lost income due to the lockdown measures.
The ruling came after a suit filed by the populist party VOX, and just months later in October, the Constitutional Court declared the second state of alarm, enacted between November 2020 and May 2021, was also unconstitutional.
The court ruled that the government’s measures were not legal because they should have been enacted under a stricter state of emergency that requires parliamentary approval.
The Spanish approach to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic saw not only harsh lockdowns in the early months of the spread of the virus but also saw outdoor masking mandated in December of last year. The mandate was quickly dropped, however, as by February of this year Spanish leftist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez began scrapping restrictions, including the outdoor mask mandate.

Australian Bank Begins Linking Customer Transactions to Carbon Footprint
Green social credit score scheme accelerates.
In another foretaste of potential future ‘carbon allowance’ limits, a major bank in Australia has introduced a new feature that links purchases to a customer’s carbon footprint and warns them when they are going over the average.
Australia’s Commonwealth Bank (CBA) has partnered with Cogo, a “carbon management solutions” company, to launch the new feature, which is part of CBA’s online banking platform.
The bank gives the customer the option to “pay a fee” to offset their carbon footprint, with the average listed as 1,280 kilograms, a long way from the ‘sustainable’ figure of 200 kilograms.
A person’s carbon footprint is calculated and then an ‘equivalent’ metric is show to make the customer feel guilty about it, such as “8 trees being cut”.
“By combining our rich customer data and CoGo’s industry-leading capability in measuring carbon outputs, we will be able to provide greater transparency for customers so that they can take actionable steps to reduce their environmental footprint,” CommBank Group executive Angus Sullivan said in a statement.
The bank has promised to refine the calculation down to showing how much CO2 individual purchases are responsible for.
While initially presented as a handy way for someone to track their consumption habits and the supposed impact they have on the environment, some fear that such schemes could one day become mandatory and place limits on purchases of customers who exceed their ‘carbon allowance.’
As we previously highlighted, allied with climate lockdowns, technocrats want to exploit hysteria over climate change to increase financial control over individuals.
Such a proposal was presented in the science journal Nature by four environmental “experts” as a means of reducing global carbon emissions.
Everyone would be issued with a ‘carbon allowance card’ “that would entail all adults receiving an equal tradable carbon allowance that reduces over time in line with national [carbon] targets.”
The authors make it clear that the program would be a “national mandatory policy.”
Carbon units would be “deducted from the personal budget with every payment of transport fuel, home-heating fuels and electricity bills,” and anyone going over the limit would be forced to purchase additional units in the personal carbon market from those with excess to sell.”
Of course, the wealthy would be easily able to afford the offsets, and many of them are directly invested in the trading mechanisms that the scheme would be based on.
The proposal makes clear that the means of measuring a person’s uptake of carbon units for travel would function “on the basis of the tracking the user’s movement history.”
The authors note that mass compliance with COVID-19 lockdown regulations has greased the skids for further intrusive tyranny and that, “people may be more prepared to accept the tracking and limitations related to PCAs to achieve a safer climate” as a result.

‘Gearing Up to Fight Biological Weapons?’ White House Launches $88 Billion National Biodefense Strategy
Bioweapons expert Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., said the Biden administration’s new $88 billion national biodefense strategy signals the U.S. is expanding its biological warfare industry “for the purpose of waging biological warfare.”
The Biden administration on Tuesday announced a new $88 billion national biodefense strategy that outlines the government’s plans for how to respond to future pandemics, public health emergencies and biological threats.
The launch of the “National Biodefense Strategy and Implementation Plan for Countering Biological Threats, Enhancing Pandemic Preparedness, and Achieving Global Health Security” included the signing of National Security Memorandum-15 (NSM-15).
Key elements of the new strategy include the rapid production and distribution of vaccines and diagnostic tests, and enhancing global health security.
The strategy also includes a new framework for the federal government’s role during a future crisis, which places the White House at the center of any such response, coordinating the actions of multiple federal agencies.
The White House said the new strategy adopts lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In an interview with The Defender, University of Illinois international law professor Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., a bioweapons expert who drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, said:
“It appears that the enormous amount of money here, $88 billion over five years, when you add it on to well over, I would say, maybe $130 billion [in biodefense spending] since Sept. 11, 2001, means that they are gearing up to fight biological weapons warfare around the world.”
Boyle told The Defender that between October 2001 and October 2015, the federal government spent $100 billion “on biological warfare purposes.”
“To put that into perspective,” he said, “in constant dollars, the Manhattan Project to develop the atom bomb was $40 billion.”
Plan calls for development, distribution of new vaccines within 130 days
Biden’s new biodefense strategy includes the rapid development and deployment of new vaccines and diagnostics that it foresees in response to any future “biological threats.”
According to the White House’s plan, these “biological threats” may be “naturally occurring, accidental [or] deliberate,” “with the potential to significantly impact humans, animals (domestic and wildlife), plants, and the environment, and to negatively affect health, the economy, society, and security.”
According to STAT, the plan’s targets include:
Being able to test for new pathogens within 12 hours.
Making rapid tests available to the public within 90 days.
Repurposing existing drugs within 90 days.
Developing vaccines within 100 days.
Manufacturing enough of the new vaccine for the entire U.S. population within 130 days and “for the high-risk global population” within 200 days.
Developing new treatments within 180 days.
In justifying the new strategy, an unnamed senior Biden administration official quoted by The Hill said:
“We … know that the risk of another pandemic as bad or worse than COVID is a real threat. The new National Biodefense Strategy therefore outlines a bold vision … towards a world free of pandemics and catastrophic biological incidents.”
According to Defense One, other goals contained within the plan include “detecting the spread of pathogens before patients even begin to show symptoms like fever” and “scaling up the number of diagnostic test kits by tens of thousands within a week.”

Belgium wields terror law to shield Israel’s war industry
Belgium is using anti-terror legislation to protect an Israeli weapons firm.
The federal prosecutor’s office in Brussels has confirmed that it is handling a dossier relating to recent damage done at the OIP Sensor Systems factory near the city of Ghent.
The case could have far-reaching implications. OIP is fully owned by Elbit, an Israeli arms maker that profits from attacks on Palestinians.
Last weekend, an article appeared in the Dutch-language daily Het Laatste Nieuws stating that a man is in detention over the incident at the OIP plant.
On 28 August, Molotov cocktails were thrown at armored vehicles in OIP’s parking lot. The slogan “shut Elbit down” was, according to some accounts, found at the scene afterwards.
Although firefighters got to the scene and extinguished the blazes quickly, the two military vehicles were nonetheless completely destroyed, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.
The case was originally referred to a local court but it has subsequently been handed to the federal prosecutor.
Eric Van Duyse, a spokesperson for the prosecutor, said that “the suspect actually faces charges of arson with terrorist intents.”
The name of the man in detention has not been disclosed. “We do not provide the identities of suspects but I can tell you that, up to now, no links were found with any Palestinian group,” Van Duyse stated by email.
“We are still at the beginning of the inquiry,” he said, adding that no date has been set for a court hearing.

Contacted by telephone, Ronny De Coster, the reporter who wrote last weekend’s article for Het Laatste Nieuws, insisted he did not know the detainee’s name or that of his lawyer. De Coster said that his article was based on details given to him by the judicial authorities in East Flanders, where the OIP plant is located.
His admission raises serious questions about De Coster’s journalism. Why did he parrot a line fed to him by the authorities, without pausing to query the underlying agenda?
De Coster’s article suggested that the man in detention was sympathetic toward the plight of the Palestinian people. The article nonetheless portrayed the Molotov cocktail incident as criminal, without providing any context about Elbit’s role in Israel’s state violence.
Despite being owned by Elbit for almost two decades, OIP’s tight connections to Israel’s weapons industry are not widely known.
So far it has escaped the kind of protests which the group Palestine Action has undertaken against Elbit’s investments in Britain. Those protests have included such wholly commendable pursuits as smashing up weapons production facilities.
Nobody was hurt when Molotov cocktails were thrown at the armored vehicles parked next to the OIP plant.
So why has Belgium invoked anti-terror legislation? Could the state be sending a signal that it will not tolerate any protests which disrupt the business of OIP and, by extension, harm its Israeli parent company?
The Wall Street Journal has just published a glowing feature about Israel’s merchants of death.
The feature rhapsodizes about how “Israel’s global military sales” were worth a “record $11.3 billion last year.” A major factor behind the growth was the Abraham Accords – a series of normalization deals with Arab countries.
Elbit’s acquisition of OIP in Belgium predates those deals. But that does not make it inconsequential.
OIP, for example, led a consortium which won a major contract in 2019 to supply the French army with fancy new rifles.
By doing so, it has found business for Israel’s weapons industry in one of the European Union’s largest countries.

Lawmakers Looking to Pass $50 Billion in New Ukraine Aid Before Next Congress
The plan is due to concerns that massive Ukraine aid may not easily pass through a Republican-controlled House
Amid talk that it may be harder to push Ukraine aid through a Republican-controlled House if they win the majority in midterms, lawmakers from both parties are considering passing a new massive piece of legislation before newly elected members are sworn in this January.
NBC News reported Thursday that the bipartisan idea under consideration would be to pass a bill for Ukraine aid that could cover an entire year during the lame-duck period. The bill is expected to be worth roughly $50 billion, which would bring total US spending on the war to over $115 billion.
The new aid would likely be attached to an omnibus spending bill. An unnamed Republican senator told NBC that the legislation would make $12 billion of Ukraine aid that was included in a recent stopgap funding bill “look like pocket change.”
News of the plan comes after House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) suggested that Ukraine aid may be more difficult to pass in a GOP-majority House by saying they’re not going to “write a blank check” for Ukraine. Other Republicans have insisted that most in the party support shipping billions in aid to Ukraine and that the concerns are more over the lack of oversight.
So far, the Biden administration has not asked Congress for more Ukraine aid. President Biden on Thursday said that he was “worried” a Republican majority House would “cut” Ukraine aid, signaling that a request may be coming soon.
Over in Ukraine, David Arakhamia, the leader of Voldymr Zelensky’s Servant of the People party in parliament, said he was “shocked” by Mcarthy’s comments. “Just a few weeks ago, our delegation visited the US and had a meeting with Mr. McCarthy. We were assured that bipartisan support of Ukraine in its war with Russia will remain a top priority even if they win in the elections,” Arakhamia said.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov brushed off McCarthy’s comments, chalking them up to campaign rhetoric. McCarthy himself has been very supportive of spending billions on the war in Ukraine, but questioning the policy could appeal to voters in the US as Americans are facing high inflation and gas prices.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid on Friday morning slammed a United Nations report accusing Israel of violating international law, as part of an ongoing inquiry into alleged rights abuses in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip following last year’s 11-day fight between Israel and the Hamas terror group.
“Precisely because I was not prime minister at the time of Operation ‘Guardian of the Walls,’ I feel obliged to emphasize: The UN report on the operation is biased, false, inciting and blatantly unbalanced,” Lapid said on Twitter, referencing the 2021 conflict.
“Not all criticism of Israel is antisemitism, but this report was written by antisemites (as Israel has already revealed) and is a distinctly antisemitic report,” he added.
The United Nations’ ongoing Commission of Inquiry released its second report on Thursday, calling on the Security Council to end Israel’s “permanent occupation,” and on individual UN member states to prosecute Israeli officials.
The 28-page document, which will be presented to the General Assembly on October 27, accuses Israel of violating international law by making its control over the West Bank permanent, and by annexing land claimed by the Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank, and Syrian land in the Golan Heights.

Leadership PAC associated with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene violated campaign finance rules, FEC
The PAC received a contribution that exceeded the permitted $5,000 limit from an individual and made a contribution to Ohio Republican congressional candidate J.R. Majewski's primary election campaign more than a month after the election, according to the FEC.
The Federal Election Commission has informed a leadership PAC aligned with GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene that it violated campaign finance rules.
In a letter dated Wednesday to the Save America Stop Socialism PAC, the agency wrote that the organization had several financial discrepancies and excessive or prohibited contributions in its quarterly filing from July, The Hill reported.
The political action committee, or PAC, received a contribution that exceeded the $5,000 limit from an individual and made a contribution to Ohio Republican congressional candidate J.R. Majewski's primary election campaign more than a month after the election.
A total of $5,000 had been contributed by the PAC to Majewski's primary campaign on June 17, despite the GOP primary that he won having occurred May 3.
The FEC requested that the PAC address the financial discrepancies it filed, refund the excessive contribution from the individual, and seek a refund from the Majewski campaign. The federal agency gave the PAC until Nov. 23 to respond to the letter.

Gitmo Sources Confirm Biden Administration Plea Deal to Exclude Death Penalty for 9/11 Terrorists
The Biden administration is close to reaching a shameful plea deal that could exclude the death penalty for five Islamic terrorists charged with coordinating the 2001 attacks, sources told Judicial Watch during a recent trip to the military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where the jihadists are incarcerated. For years Judicial Watch has traveled to the U.S. Naval base in southeast Cuba to observe the military tribunal trials of 9/11 terrorists and others, including USS Cole bomber Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri. Judicial Watch also covers all the hearings held by the Obama-created parole panel known as the Periodic Review Board via satellite video feed at the Pentagon. In the last year alone, the panel has approved the release of four one-time “forever prisoners” previously denied parole because they were considered a threat to national security.
During a recent weeklong visit to Gitmo, Judicial Watch learned from various sources that the new plea deal is on the verge of becoming official. Since the middle of September news reports have circulated saying that the administration is planning to get rid of the death penalty for the five key terrorists involved in planning 9/11. The men—plot mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), Ammar al-Baluchi, Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi, Ramzi Binalshibh and Walid bin Attash—have been jailed at the top security compound since 2006. Under the arrangement the men would serve life in prison, and some are expected to negotiate lesser sentences, which would only add to the outrage of the Biden administration’s behind-the-scenes pact. Back in 2009 the Obama administration considered changing the law for military commissions at Gitmo to allow terrorists facing the death penalty to plead guilty without a full trial.
During Judicial Watch’s recent trip to Gitmo, the commission held two closed hearings and therefore no observers were permitted to attend. However, defense attorneys and others heavily involved with the legal proceedings shared updates on the status of the cases. Specifically, al-Baluchi’s defense team expressed tremendous optimism that the Biden administration’s recent directive involving settlement discussions should act to expedite cases. “Taking the death penalty off the table should significantly reduce the length of the proceedings,” according to one key defense team member. Another representative of the terrorism defense seemed quite confident that an outcome could be much closer once the death penalty is no longer a factor. Various sources confirmed that key plea proposals were “under active consideration at high levels of the government.”
It is worth noting that the U.S. government is also allowing 9/11 architect KSM to get away with the barbaric murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was 38 years old when Islamic terrorists kidnapped and beheaded him in Pakistan two decades ago. Earlier this year military commission prosecutors, for unknown reasons, decided not to pursue the Pearl charges against KSM, even though he has proudly admitted murdering the journalist. Five years after Pearl’s gruesome death, KSM told a U.S. Military tribunal at Gitmo that he killed the reporter. “I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan,” KSM said in a 2007 Pentagon transcript of the hearing. “For those who would like to confirm, there are pictures of me on the internet holding his head.” In the hearing KSM also revealed that he participated in more than 30 attacks. Nevertheless, without any type of public announcement or explanation, the Department of Defense (DOD) Office of Military Commissions quietly filed a motion earlier this year indicating that KSM will get away with Pearl’s murder.

In the audio, Berlusconi can be heard calling Russian President Putin an "old friend" Putin while blaming Ukraine's Zelensky for provoking the current conflict by "tripling the attacks" against pro-Russian separatists in Donbas, in reference to the conflict that raged there since 2014.
"The Republics of the Donbas eventually sent a delegation to Moscow and told Putin: ‘Please, defend us!’," the ex-prime minister said. "Putin was against any initiative but he was under a big pressure from the Russian people and so he invented this special operation: the plan was that his troops had to enter Ukraine, overthrow Zelenskiy and replace him with a government formed by a Ukrainian minority, formed by honest, sensible people.’"

Berlusconi added that when the Russian military invaded Ukraine, they were "faced with a situation Putin could not have predicted, of resistance from the Ukrainians who started receiving money and weapons from the west. And the special operation became a 200-year war."
The former PM, who was previously recorded as saying he was one of the Russian leader’s top five friends, said he can’t see how Putin and Zelenskiy can sit at a negotiating table.
That's when Berlusconi is heard expressly blaming Zelensky for the Ukrainian government's recalcitrant position on the possibility of ceasefire talks:
"Because there’s no possible way. Zelenskiy, in my view … forget about it, I can’t say," the recording went on.
“There are no real leaders in the West”, continued Berlusconi. “I can make you smile, the only true leader is me.”
