Jesus was condemned by the Pharisees for protesting the excesses of the temple (the church) and working on the Sabbath, a violation of "The Law", and tortured/crucified by the Romans in performance of their duties to uphold "The Law", and carry out the punishments prescribed by the Jewish Sanhedrin.
Jesus literally did nothing "wrong or evil", but was executed because "The Law" called for it.
Such is the demonic hypocrisy of "The Law of Sin" and those who live in it and practice it.
He showed you that "The Law" is of man, not of God. God doesn't torture and execute people to maintain his palaces and slaves, man does that.
