Local reporter Stephanie Sierra with KGO-TV says Paul Pelosi reported to have undergone surgery, “Sources confirm Paul Pelosi was allegedly hit ‘violently’ on the head w/ a hammer after a suspect broke into their #SanFrancisco home early this morning. The suspect was looking for Nancy Pelosi who was out of town. Paul has undergone surgery & is expected to have more today.”

Reports on the early morning attack on Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), state that Pelosi was “severely beaten” on the head and body with a hammer in an attack that allegedly targeted the Pelosi home. Nancy Pelosi was in Washington, D.C. according to her office. A suspect was taken into custody.

CNN reported on the use of a hammer, “From @WhitneyWReports & @JohnMillerCNN: Per law enforcement sources, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Paul Pelosi, was attacked in his SF area home overnight by a male assailant who used a hammer in the attack. Nancy Pelosi was in DC at the time.”

The suspect who attacked Paul Pelosi, House speaker’s husband, specifically targeted their San Francisco home, people familiar with the matter said Friday.

Pelosi was attacked and severely beaten by an assailant with a hammer. Pelosi, 82, suffered blunt force trauma to his head and body, according to the two people with knowledge of the investigation into the attack who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing probe…

The AP described Pelosi’s injuries as “bruising, severe swelling and other injuries.”

A statement by Nancy Pelosi’s office claimed Paul Pelosi “is expected to make a full recovery.”

The San Francisco Police released a statement on the attack, “On 10/28/22, at 2:27 am, SFPD responded to the 2600 block of Broadway for a home break-in. During the incident an 82 y/o male was attacked. The suspect was taken into custody. The victim was transported to a local hospital. SFPD Chief Scott will address the media at police HQ.”

The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is assisting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Francisco Police with a joint investigation into a break-in at the California home of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The Speaker was in Washington, D.C. with her protective detail at the time of the overnight, break-in.

During the California break-in, the Speaker’s husband was assaulted, but he is now recovering.

The San Francisco Police Department has the suspect in custody. The motivation for the attack is still under investigation.

Special Agents with the USCP’s California Field Office quickly arrived on scene, while a team of investigators from the Department’s Threat Assessment Section was simultaneously dispatched from the East Coast to assist the FBI and the San Francisco Police with a joint investigation.

The law enforcement agencies will provide more information when it can be released.

Georgia’s Supreme Court, the highest court in the land for Georgia elections, ruled on Tuesday that citizens do have the right to sue their government officials when they violate state law. This ruling is consistent with nearly every ruling to date on this matter.

90 Day Freeze on Cleaning Voter Rolls Allows Voter Fraud and Needs to Be Challenged at the Supreme Court

The RNC has 17 “Election Integrity Directors” placed in various States. Their role is to recruit poll watchers, collaborate with state parties and stakeholders, and promote secure elections. Their names and the areas they service are not publicly available. Melissa Conway is the RNC Integrity Director for TX. She also founded the Texas Election Network, which filed affidavits challenging over 6,000 voter registrations in Harris County, TX (Houston).

After massive research and canvassing, they told the county these voters did not reside at the addresses on their registration records. Harris County didn’t remove a single one from the voter rolls. Another 49 challenges came after Aug. 10th, the deadline for the 90 day freeze on voter rolls. Many jurisdictions follow this questionable federal law. It says voters can’t be removed from voter rolls within 90 days of a federal election.

The DOJ Civil Rights Division is made up entirely of Democrat employees. Back in 2012 they did not want the removal of 180,000 non citizens from the FL voters rolls. They sued Florida, claiming the 1993 NVRA (Motor Voter) law bars officials from removing any voters from the rolls within 90 days of the election. This is now called the “90 day freeze”. Florida fought this case and originally won. But it was appealed by the DOJ. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, with a 3-judge panel, overturned that ruling in 2014. Two of these judges decided it was illegal to clean voter rolls within 90 days.

The Heritage Foundation in 2014 explained how the NVRA laws is meant to freeze “regular maintenance activities” inside 90 days of a federal election. This means no “general maintenance” program can be conducted within 90 days. However, officials may strike from the rolls any registrant who has died, has requested cancellation, or to correct a mistaken registration. It essentially means States can remove a few voters, here or there. They just can’t use any of their regular systems or processes. It’s hard to believe they are not allowed to database match against DL records, and remove illegal voters in bulk.

Report: Musk Intends to Overturn Permanent User Bans on Twitter

The tech mogul is set to take over as chief executive after reportedly completing the deal and firing top brass

Elon Musk plans to take on the role of chief executive of Twitter as his $44 billion deal to buy the company becomes official. The tech mogul immediately moved to fire a handful of top Twitter executives, including former CEO Parag Agrawal and Vijaya Gadde, who served as the head of legal, policy, and trust. Gadde was responsible for the decision to ban President Trump from the platform during his final days in office.

According to a report from Reuters, Musk plans to overturn permanent bans on Twitter users. Musk has repeatedly stated that he views Twitter as a “digital town square” and that he does not believe in lifetime bans. This includes Trump, though the former president has yet to comment on whether he will return to the platform. The 45th president has previously said that he intends to stick with Truth Social.

It is unclear exactly when permanent user bans will be overturned as of this time.

Musk celebrated the acquisition of Twitter with a tweet saying, “The bird is freed,” a reference to the company’s logo.

Courts had set a Friday deadline for the Tesla and SpaceX CEO to complete the historic $44 billion deal. The company has yet to post a statement officially confirming the deal, though the departures combined with Musk’s dramatic entrance to Twitter headquarters on Wednesday have all but confirmed its completion.

Musk has stated that while he is a “free speech absolutist,” the platform will still have tools in place to remove content deemed problematic. The tech mogul said his motivation for acquiring the platform was to provide a space where “a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner.”

“In addition to adhering to the laws of the land, our platform must be warm and welcoming to all, where you can choose your desired experience according to your preferences,” he said.

David Depape ID’d as hammer-wielding intruder who attacked Paul Pelosi

The man who attacked Paul Pelosi has been named as David Depape, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The 42-year-old is believed to have entered the Pelosi home through its rear after pictures showed an open window leading into the house.

China Admits Using Pandemic to Expand Police ‘Service Centers’ Abroad

In the course of attempting to spin the alarming discovery of Chinese police stations in foreign countries as merely “service centers” for Chinese living abroad, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin on Wednesday admitted the Communist tyranny used the coronavirus pandemic it unleashed as an opportunity to greatly expand its operations in other countries.

Wang was responding to reports in Dutch media about a government investigation into at least two illegally-operated Chinese police stations in the Netherlands, whose primary purpose appears to have been manipulating, intimidating, and silencing Chinese dissidents living abroad.

The UK Guardian noted the Dutch investigation was just the tip of a very ugly iceberg, as China allegedly opened dozens of these overseas oppression dispensaries across Europe and beyond:

The stations were first identified by a Spanish civil rights group, Safeguard Defenders, in a September report, which alleged that the Fuzhou and Qingtian police agencies had between them opened 54 “overseas service centres” in 25 cities across 21 countries.

Most were located in Europe, the report said, including nine in Spain, four in Italy, three in France, two in the Netherlands and two in the UK, in London and Glasgow. It said part of their purpose was to “persuade” dissidents to return to China.

“These operations eschew official bilateral police and judicial cooperation, violate the international rule of law, and may violate the territorial integrity of third countries by setting up a parallel policing mechanism using illegal methods,” the report said.

Those are just some of the 13 experiments for a packed 10 days of science beginning Wednesday at the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program. The University of Alaska Fairbanks operates the facility located near Gakona.

The number of experiments is the highest so far under a five-year, $9.3 million grant awarded last year by the National Science Foundation to establish the Subauroral Geophysical Observatory at HAARP. The observatory’s purpose is the exploration of Earth’s upper atmosphere and geospace environment.

FBI Now Wants 66 Years Before Releasing Information on Seth Rich – Information They Originally DENIED They Had!

The FBI denied possessing any information or files related to the Seth Rich murder. But that was not true and eventually, the information was discovered. The FBI was forced to admit they were holding information on Seth Rich.

Attorney Ty Clevenger brought the government to court and last month the FBI was ordered to turn over information on Seth Rich’s computer that they possessed, and documents pertaining to Crowdstrike and the purported hack of the DNC in 2016.

And now, once again, the FBI is stalling!

What are they hiding? Why won’t they turn the information over?

Ty Clevenger at Lawflog reported earlier this month that the FBI is stalling on the release of the documents:

Yesterday the government asked for more time to respond to U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant’s September 29, 2022 order directing the FBI to produce all records related to Seth Rich’s laptop. Somewhat relatedly, the FBI is withholding three reports produced by CrowdStrike in August of 2016 regarding the purported hack of the Democratic National Committee.

First the laptop. The FBI wants two more weeks so it can prepare a motion for reconsideration. As a courtesy, we have not objected to the request. According to the government’s motion, “the FBI is uncertain how to comply with the Court’s order as written, and the FBI is seeking input from a pending appellate consultation regarding the order to properly address this issue.”

The order itself is pretty straightforward, at least with respect to Seth’s personal laptop, because it directs the FBI to “produce the information it possesses related to Seth Rich’s laptop and responsive to Plaintiff’s FOIA requests within 14 days of this Order.” On the other hand, the order does not discuss Seth’s work laptop, which is also in the possession of the FBI.

I’m waiting for the FBI to explain what it thinks needs to be clarified, then I may be filing my own motion for clarification. Meanwhile, the FBI has cited only one narrow basis for withholding the records related to Seth’s laptop, namely his privacy. I’m not sure why it takes four weeks and an appellate lawyer to figure out why the judge did or didn’t get that issue right.

In any event, I’m reminded of something that I learned almost thirty years ago when I was a newspaper reporter: people with nothing to hide don’t try to hide nothing.

On Friday, Chris Wray’s FBI asked for 66 years before releasing any information on the Seth Rich investigation.

What are they hiding?

The FBI is asking a U.S. court to reverse its order that it produce information from Seth Rich’s laptop computer.

If the court does not, the bureau wants 66 years to produce the information.

Rich was a Democratic National Committee staffer when he was killed on a street in Washington in mid-2016. No person has ever been arrested in connection to the murder.

U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant, an Obama appointee, ruled in September that the bureau must hand over information from the computer to Brian Huddleston, a Texas man who filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for the info.

The FBI’s assertion that the privacy interest Rich’s family members hold outweighed the public interest was rejected by Mazzant, who noted the bureau cited no relevant case law supporting the argument.
